Thank you. And they can't hear us?
That's a good question! I skipped far enough that they probably can't and I'm sure Data's not listening because he understands the gravity of this situation!
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
Thank you. And they can't hear us?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
*Looks around*
No, I suppose it isn't anymore. Did you do that?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
*Walks into the room and closes the door*
Do you know if the room is bugged?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
Oh, one last thing. To prevent any misunderstandings, everything is different between me and the last Singularity, including my familial relationships.
*Follows Maddie*
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
I suppose I could start with you then?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
*Shakes my head*
As long as the message propagates throughout the group, that's good enough for me. Unless, of course, I can speak with Second at some point.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
*Rubs my chin*
I think it's enough now. May I speak with you all individually? I think that would be my greatest opportunity to avoid being sent back immediately.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
It's alright; don't concern yourself over it.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
I'd love more, but I was really just wondering where he was. It'd be nice to have an ally on the other side.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>
*Takes three scarlet cords out of my pocket*
The Threads of Fate are what Second uses to manipulate destiny. If I didn't have these, I'd end up fading from this timeline and being absorbed into the new one I've created, unless it would be mostly the same with me still traveling back in time. But the more drastic the change, the more I'm pulled back into the time period in which I belong and the tighter these get wound. Once one stops working, I move to the next. I started with five; I used one for something else before I left and then used one when I got here.
