Alright then, I'll post him into the character section and take note of that when playing him.
@XxLyraxX
Hmmm, would the screening process put the candidates in any intense duress before subjecting them to the horrors assignments given to them? If not then I could pass the thing off as a form of survival instincts on an extreme level as complete apathy (or lack of emotional development) to act for anyone else besides himself (or fall on the other end of the scale, where he isn't phased by death and willingly challenges it to end his life since he has nothing to lose).

If such testing is done to D-class candidates, then I'll rework it into another aspect.
Made a fairly normal character in my opinion, hopefully he'll get accepted!

I'm interested in joining up as well if possible

"Heh... I do not take any offense, even I wouldn't want to see myself at times not to mention touching after what I've done"

Berserker said with a smirk as he shifted his weight onto one side of his body while he looked at Nakae while he did his awkward gestures before finally exiting the abandoned house after checking the device in his hand. With nothing much to say, Berserker followed his Master down the path that he presumably took earlier to get to this secluded place away from the city. It seemed his Master had more questions to ask before answering himself which Berserker nodded in confirmation to as he listened.

"Yes, I am a Servant and as for where we shall go, it is up to you to decide. I have no preference on what we will do if you wish to continue your schedule, then, by all means, do so." Berserker said indecisively as he continued on following his Master with a casual nonchalance that betrays the attention he had that focused on his surrounds as he played it off. It was a habit he grew into after attempts to lynch him from people that inadvertently made them hate him for his deed which created the eyes on the back of his head.

With his indifference coming from the situation his Master and himself were in, even with his own help, it wouldn't be enough to remedy the giant setback they faced together as a pair. What his Master knew were the bare necessities that Berserker had taught him only moments ago and whatever skills he possessed seemed to be unintentionally manifesting themselves. The only thing that he could do himself, reacted and stay calm when the time came to face other servants or intervene in any event that was necessary for him to do so. Other than that, there was not much that they could do with their current limitations which from Berserker's viewpoint restricted their actions. They weren't able to preemptive attack their opponents in their own playing fields and at the same time couldn't defend their own due to both of their lacking qualities, the only thing that they could do was doing things in the moment when battle waged on the field.

"The only thing I will ask is to keep your guard up while we are traveling for I have not developed a good grasp on our surroundings yet. It would also be wise to keep your distrust with other people, as Masters of other servants will be presumably much skilled than you with their perspective abilities. It is a surprise that you managed to summon me, giving reason to question your lineage..." He said while continuing forward while he turned his head back to Nakae who seemed lacked formal education of what was going on. Yet despite their limitations, scouting the battleground was one of the few things that the two of them could do and by chance maybe discover any of the opponents that they would face. They will have to be doing a lot of that with them constantly being on the lookout so that they wouldn't be caught surprised by any more clever foes that didn't directly confront them. However, his Master surprised him with another naive question to which he gave a small laugh "Thankfully, no I do not require food nor anything else that you may wonder so your own belongings can stay mostly to yourself. The only thing that I need is your cooperation and you to remain in good condition, as you are my anchor into this world..."

I'm willing to bite with the other open Master slots still available, some of his Magecraft things are iffy but... We'll get there when we get there, right? (Problems of not being a specialized Magus)

@Yukitamas

Seeing that his Master still had many more things on his mind, he turned around from his hasty exit outside the building as the moonlight drenched his form with darkness no longer covering it. His features were more pronounced under the greater quantity of light as Berserker shifted to face Nakae who leaned against the door. "Indeed, a wish for anything you would desire, it shouldn't be too hard to think of one right?" Berserker explained it exactly how it was to his summoner and continued to listen to them as they continued smoothing some things between them. "If you are a master, then I am a servant who serves the one who has summoned them. Us servants come from the Throne of Heroes, which is where we come from and you may find various figures as servants within the Holy Grail War such as myself." He summarized as he leaned against one of the wooden support columns that held the front porch together despite its age that whithered away the paint of its former glory.

Despite his lack of experience, from the knowledge that Berserker gained it looked like the system that the Holy Grail War operated on was a fairly simple one that anyone could understand on a broad and general level, but how the finer mechanics of such a thing worked was lost on him or simply weren't given to him to expand on how it worked. It, however, didn't seem to make his Master curious on how the wishing part of the Holy Grail showed itself to be but the look of determination on his Master's face seemed to part away any doubt that they once had about joining the event. Apparently, his Master had something on his mind that he really wished to obtain and looks like it would motivate him for at least a portion of the event...

Nodding in confirmation to his Master who confirmed the contract between them and began explaining some of the unique peculiarities about him as a Master, beginning first with what his eyes could see which were clearly something else. Claiming that it allows him to see essentially the world differently and his ability to 'see' pain. Which his Master continued on to explain how his vision worked which intrigued Berserker as he gazed towards the ground as he was deep in thought as he kicked the earth several times while his Master spoke with something resonating with his memories. Looking back up when Nakae finished "I believe I have an idea of what you are talking about..." Berserker said as he racked the memories in his brain that he tried to recall before finally saying "In the old temples, there are stories which said that some priests that had beautiful eyes that could see past the veil that separated the two worlds of the normal and supernatural world. Beyond the priests, there were said that some of the families who hunted demons back in Japan had eyes that allowed them to take down Monsters with them. However, such stories were said to entertain the thoughts of children and promote superstition but it may serve some purpose to what your eyes are." After reciting a few of the stories that he heard in an extremely condensed version, he stretched as he looked around the open area as he wondered if he should become incorporeal in case anyone was watching them. A samurai wasn't exactly subtle...

"A keeper of the dead? That is an interesting profession to strike up but a viable choice to avoid the living" Berserker said as he looked at his young master before going back to the handle of his sword that reminded constantly reminded him of his past and looked away from the blade. Deciding it was not his place to judge, especially from a person like himself he turned around and took a step forward. There, however, was still a flaw in his goal of finding a job in the cemetery as Berserker might as well announce it "If you get a job in a grave, would it not be exchanging your problems with the living with the dead? You claim to see the same thing on objects like living beings." Berserker said referencing the bracelet as he recalled the conversation that happened only moments ago, shrugging to his Master whether he took the moment to register it as Berserker continued forward.

"Shall we get going? It is getting late in the night, is it not?" Berserker nonchalantly said as his form began to shimmer "I'll be watching for anything suspicious, do not worry." Becoming translucent at the end of his sentence and while his incorporeal form was invisible to most, the current exception was his Master whose eyes were unique just like he had said earlier. With Nakae easily seeing Berserker exchanged his form to his spiritual body quite visible to him as the servant patrolled the area.
@Yukitamas
Pardon my absence on posting, I've had a deadline on Monday that has been stacking up that I needed to adress. I'll have my post finished later

@Yukitamas

Berserker nodded to Nakae in agreement as they would be soon exiting the manor and exchanging the darkness of the rooms for the moonlight showing the way for them to go. Before they headed out though, it seemed like his summoner had a question before they left as he listened to what they had to ask. "It would seem like you were chosen as a possible candidate to participate, for nothing is ever truly certain in such events and you were one of the many who could join. After calling me from the Throne, it seemed to legitimize your status whether it be accidental or on purpose. Anything beforehand is most likely not related to the Holy Grail War itself." He answered from the darkness as he took note of the curious tone in his Master's voice.

Upon him asking more about the finer details of the event, Berserker was indifferent if not glad that they tackling things early on before starting so that he could supply his Master with information that helped evened the playing field for him. "To be a participant of The Holy Grail War in itself is an honor for some such as myself but what most seek is the reward of winning and receiving the Holy Grail itself. When there only remains a single pair left in the event, they will be granted the Holy Grail which is a relic capable of granting any wish that the survivors desire. It is the main reason why the other Masters joined this war." Berserker said as he explained the reward of winning the Holy Grail War to his summoner who seemed to be in the dark about most of the information being given to him.

Upon hearing that his Master had no mode of transportation, he was seeing the situation in hand as Nakae was truly tied with both hands behind his back. While a mild inconvenience, it wouldn't be too much trouble for Berserker himself to carry his Master but it lacked in subtlety and given the sparse resources of his Master, they needed to conserve what they had. "Do not worry about transportation, I will not mind having to traverse through the city or the status of your accommodations. It will be suitably better than the old building we currently are in which dances around the question of why you are here if you did not intentionally summon me but that is of no importance for right now..." Berserker said curiously about his Master's intentions about lingering in such a place but right now that was where his attnetion was not needed. Moving his focus back from such aimless thoughts and returned his attention to watching the perimeter of the area with senses kept about him, making sure they were still safe in the current location.

What came next, however, was out of the left field as his Master made a strange inference about him that made him smirk in surprise, looking like he took no offense to the comment made about him as he looked at the bracelet his Master was dangling in the air. "Looks like me you say?" Berserker said curiously as he continued to observe the accessory piece obliviously in comparison to what Nakae could see in on a whole different level that Berserker probably wouldn't understand. "It looks like you have more than what meets the eye Master even if you may be clueless about what is happening around you or what you possess even... While I appreciate the gift, it holds no significance to me that I know of and respectfully decline. Perhaps we can discuss more what you see between me and that piece of jewelry later when we have less to worry about?" Berserker said to his Master as he began to walk outside the building first and took another scan of the environment before Nakae came out, standing alert as he waited for his Master to guide where to go next now.
