Jaze listens to Astley intently, hanging on to everything he says. She wonders if she is coming across too overbearing. Shaking that thought away, "You say you like helping people, what exact;y is your job at the hospital? Are you a doctor?" They walk up on an Italian place for dinner, and Astley holds the door for Jaze to pass through. "This is a nice restaurant, Astley - I've never been here before." Her soulmate inquired about her past, wanting to know more about her. "So," Jaze starts, "What would you like for me to tell you about my life? I have talked about my homelife and the absence of both my parents. I don't really enjoy my job at the moment, but - hey, it pays the bills." She follows to a nearby table to eat.

Jaze smiles back, "Well, then I shall follow." She takes Astley's hand as he leads them to go get dinner. "So," She starts, "Where are you from? What do you like to do? Where do you live?" Jaze is unsure of where Astley is taking her, but she trusts him - and her trust surprises even herself. You don't even care where he's taking us? We shouldn't trust him, he's dangerous. You're an idiot... Despite her thoughts, Jaze continues to follow her soulmate.

Jaze tilts her head as Astley offers the idea of dinner. She nods approvingly, "I would like that. Where to? It's your choice." Finding her hand still in his, she gently rubs Astley's hand with her own. Her mind is whirling from all of this new information she has yet to process. Jaze smirks, she feels her life is about to get much more interesting. She finds herself drawn to Astley, she wants to touch him, hold him, help him, and be there for him any way she can. Weird, she thinks, I have never felt this close to a stranger before... Jaze is excited for a change of scenery, perhaps over dinner they could talk about other things in their life - things not including pixies and drinking blood... "I" she starts, "I want to know about your past. I've told you some of mine, but I want to hear about you - other than being a pixie king." Standing, she adds, "But let's not stay here, we can talk on the way or when we get there. To... Whichever place you choose."

Astley explains to Jaze how exactly a pixie king would turn a human into a pixie queen. "I do not wish to turn you," he says, "I have survived this long without anything." Jaze looks at him, "I... I think I understand. As much as I can anyway." She shrugs off his apology, "It's okay, I'm glad you were upfront about it and did not try to hide it from me. Jaze smiles at him and tries to appear calm. So much has happened today and it is a bit overwhelming for her. I can't believe you just told him it's totally fine that he drinks freaking blood! What's wrong with you? Jaze sighs... Well he is our soulmate, what else is she going to do? She ignores the voices and tries to concentrate on the current circumstances. Would you have to turn me? Would I crave blood as you do?" She stops and looks at Astley, "How do you satisfy your love of blood?" Jaze winces after she's asked the question - not sure she is prepared for the answer. This is so not worth it we can leave this creep, right? She shakes her head slightly, This guy is scaring me... Maybe he isn't good for us... disagreeing with the voices she hears. Jaze is determined to stay with her soulmate. She gently squeezes his hand again, beckoning Astley to look at her, "I want you to know that this is all a lot for me to take in... But I have no intentions of leaving you because of this, you just need to help me understand. I'm sticking around." Jaze gives him a slight smile.
