Yazidi Empire Confirmed?
Nah, in all honesty if you wanna deal with the Byzantine wankfest then just make a Caliphate that stretches from Western Sahara all the way to Kuwait.
While I know that in AH context this has a different meaning I think you should refrain from using this.
Wankfest as its weaker couisn wank/wankery implies you disagree with somebody's nation and it's badly made.
Sure, in AH context it's more like a nation which survived longer than it did in OTL, resurrected or grew stronger than it is right now.
But that's like how nearly everyone called each other fag in 4chan.

EDIT: BTW, is it fine if I own a few asteroid mining places alread. Also I'd be in process of building a lunar colony within the Newton Crater.

Is this still open for sign-up?
It is, albeit the main continent is practically filled out.
You may discuss it with players to give up some of their land to make space for you or just try making a nation in the other continents.
Though it worths noting that in that case you'd be an ex-colony like Mexico, Canada or the USA. If you want possibly under a relatively minimal rule of the original owner.
I say being ex-colony is equally fun and besides you could be even something like US if you want. Just talk things out with whoever colonized you and possibly include cultural/technological elements from that player's nation.
So yeah, it may take a bit more effort to insert your nation but that's all.
You're welcome.
Alright, may as well try my own hand in this:

I'll detail the others once I get more time and perhaps I know more about the other nations and their stance regarding Yllendthyr.

Yeah, I think I will be copying that too (And replace my current relations list)

@Willy Vereb
Hmmmm, it might make the Sacred Empire trying to ally the Heavenly Empire kinda odd then, considering you are an ally of my nations Archenemy and more leaning towards the same policies as my enemies (Though less severely). I guess I can use realpolitik as an excuse (My nation is ignoring our conflicting cultures/politics in attempt to draw the Heavenly Empire away from Avalia and into a pro-Imperial third-party bloc)
Technically I am already forming a third political block with some of Vinculi, Setra and whoever isn't swayed by either the idea of communism or fascism.
My relation to Avalia are positive because we support their ideals of freedom plus their Kavuria and overall aviation experiences are important among others. You could say there's a technological cooperation between the two nations. This is also partially to influence Avalia to not align itself with PRK's block.
That being said Yllendthyr is aware that if the situation between Avalia and the Sacred Empire gets hot they'd need to choose between the two. Until then they enjoy the relations with both and the 3 tiny islands owned nearby are used to contact both you and Avalia.

And here we go:

A post should be in the works soon.
As it was previously in the other RP you missed certain points for Yllendthyr. For example our friendship with Avalia and our overall diplomatic approach.
Albeit I can also list other negatives. For example the absurd military power in the hands of individual nobles which they can even use as mercenaries in foreign worlds during peacetimes.
Though other notions like being an appartheid state or mixing religion with politics are less of a concern if any. Yllebdthyr offering the most religious freedom next to the truly liberal states is certainly something. Them being a middle road between democracy and monarchy can be also quite a thing at times.
I see.
Seems like paint doesn't want to co-operate with me, though. I tried to edit the map through the picture you posted, but I'm having problems filling out the map. The colors simply won't fill up completely and make any territory that I try to color in look weird and block-ish. Though when I use the picture Metal posted in the first post, I don't have any trouble coloring in the map.

Might wanna check that out, man.
That could be due to me converting the picture to jpg and it distorting the colors a bit. PS can have "sensitivity" to deal with even colors that are only close to that range but Paint does it directly.
yeah, I just tested the method with Paint leaves behind noise.
Oh well, I do have the original. May as well try to conserve its format and hope the coloring issue won't be there.

I tested this and should be working now.
Totally interested.

By the way, what software do you guys use to fill in the map?
I used Photoshop but simple Paint and its filler tool should be enough.
PS just have the option to switch all colors of the same type with a push of a button which came in handy when recoloring Byzantine, Brits and Hungary.
Anyways, allow me to detail a bit on possible equipment used during this game.
At least what I think should be possible.

Handheld weapons:
- Standard firearms: They do their job just fine even in this time period. Cheap, easy to maintain and excellent for equipping the masses.
- Advanced firearms: They use further refined ammo, propellant and gun mechanisms to keep up with the times. They are cheaper than other alternative but may be also approaching their limits.
- Intelligent firearms: rocket/jet munition which seeks out its target, correct the user's aim and give other thankful additions. They are great but each shot could be quite expensive. If you wish to spend millions of dollars on a simple firefight this is the way to go.
- Electronic Guns: Railguns, coilguns, whatever. The weapons would be costly, around 10 times that of a comparable firearm. Their advantages are velocity, adjustable performance and to carry cheaper and more numerous bullets at comparable weight.
- Lasers: While scaling down X-FELs should be posible and somewhat feasible as anti-personnal weapons the costs would be horrendous. Currently a desk-sized X-FEL costs nearly a million dollars and that's just a research equipment. Besides, DEWs have poor damaging mechanisms so 5-10kj jolts would be kinda unsatisfactory for their cost. Maybe richer countries attempt to use these as "snipers" since there's almost nothing to make these weapons miss. X-Rays may also be used to disable unshielded electronics.

If I may give you an Idea I'd say you could still do a commonwealth type state, but just don't take the African and Indian Territories. Keep the British Isles, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and maybe a reclaimed Ireland.
Duck is busy with something he haven't specified yet so he's definitely out of the game. Reflected by my latest edit to the map.
We'll miss him but that's the way things are now.

Here's the updated map right now, for people who wish to ad their nations in the future.
