Howdy! Just re-read all of the Firefly comics, and out of curiosity looked for any RPs in the 'verse. Spotted this RP, and checking to see if you're still accepting CSs or plan on doing so anytime soon.
Herm That'll be weird, since everyone's already on the ship and out in the black... I honestly dunno if we're accepting or not.
Cool! I think it's fine as is, but because I'm low on confidence- AnaSilun, whaddathink?
<Snipped quote by duck55223> I'll say they're both quite fancier than yours, Duck.
I'll say that I'm inclined to agree
Multipurpose Smart Unmanned Mechanized Infantry Unit-331039B, Type 34, otherwise known as "T34" or "SUMI"
Size: A taller height than an average man- ten feet. A bit wider than the average man though- twice as wide. Weighs about 460lbs. Unit history: Mechanized Infantry- provided supported, acted as a spearhead unit for taking ground, used to defend strategic points, and act as an automatic sniper. Did anything and everything that Infantry does, and a great deal more. Armed with weaponry to take down low-flying nearby aircraft, tanks, or clear a building. Memory: Absolutely nuttin'! Equipment: .50 caliber weapon unit with 350/500 rounds of ammunition (right) (Detachable and replaceable), 5.56×45 mm NATO-type weapon unit- LMG- with 550/800 rounds of ammunition (left) (Detachable and replaceable). Is also armed with two rocket pods that have a variety of different small-rockets, that perform as small smoke grenades, high-explosive, thermobaric, or armor piercing. They are small and not as powerful as a larger warhead, but he has several dozen at this time, none used. Also has all sorts of different vision filters- as well as two "EYES", left and right, to provide depth perception and the like, a holographic projector on the front, headlights on his 'shoulders', extendable and maneuverable hands on his 'arms.' His eye clusters also have sensors to detect particles in the air- "smell"- and sensors for sound dotted all across his body, and in his eye clusters. He was meant to detect gas for troops, stay alert for the whereabouts of shooters and of sneakers, and relay all information to other sources, so he also has powerful transmitters/receivers, even if only for close range. Nanite medical injection for severely injured troops on the field has been reversely-ordered to maintain his body, keeping hoses from leaking and the like. Otherwise, he'd be long dead. Ranks: Ranging from A to D, A being the strongest, try to keep it balanced, basic abilities that I will reference if need arises Combat: A Memory: B Speed: B Companionship: C Electronics: D Wisdom: C [i]Humor[i]: 95% Initializing data retrieval: Processing... Processing... Complete! EDIT:
I like the idea, but I have to warn you- it likely won't get off its feet. I do not mean to be rude, just, well, I've tried this before, except on a much smaller scale- five cities within close proximity, rather than an entire world. The problem is that everything gets too spread out- little character interaction, unless everyone clumps. That, and you went ahead and started the roleplay without waiting for interest in your interest check. The interest check is just that- to see if anyone's interested before you actually start working for a roleplay. It's a terrible shame to get started on a roleplay, and put many a hour into it, and not have a single player join- I've felt that several times, even when people say they're interested. This might take off better as a nation roleplay- where somebody is controlling each nation, or if it's large enough, the different fiefs within the nation.
Of course! We're running low on participants, so we'll accept ya with even more gusto! Just put up an app and I'll get right to reading.
Is my thingy good?
Name: Telleran Alveron Race: Redguard/Nord (Redguard father, Nordic mother)- Vampire Age: Really damn old Gender: Male Appearance: Slightly taller than the norm kind of height, with the thick build of Nords and the skin of the Redguards. His hair is what could be called reddish-blackish, the sort that's trying to be red but is still pretty black, drawn back in the dreadlocks that may or may not be common, forming an odd ponytail. Glowing yellow eyes that are primarily prominent in the dark; not so easy to see in the daylight. He has no scars, except those from the whip on his back, and a large collection on his shoulders- which could be from a hungry wolf pouncing on him. A small, thin strip of scar tissue runs from the edge of his left eye, up to his ear, where there's a small nick in it. Personality: Cold and uncaring for those around him; eccentric. He cares little for the lives around him, and cares little about the world, leading to pain being very little bother in his world. Rather, he cares a great deal about books, often saying random bits from different books, oftentimes books that no one has heard about, from authors that were never heard of. He searches for answers, any kind of answer, and for that which mortals have, and he does not- and he will refuse to give any details to that, if anyone even knows he's searching. Background: That of a man beaten and bullied by Nordic children, full-Nordic children, in his ever-moving mismatched family within the icy hold of Skyrim. Every year, it seemed, they moved elsewhere, for reasons that Telleran did not know. His name was that of an outside, unknown land; he didn't know its origins. His father liked reading; his mother too. Both of them were also warriors, often using techniques outside of the Nordic smash-smash-smash, and he so inherited both abilities and interests, wanting to both fight and learn. However, his childhood was cut short when, the first time he read a book, his family was attacked by bandits while heading to Whiterun, and they were captured. His father was killed; mother barely recovering from brutal injuries- then was raped. Shortly after, she was killed when she refused to reveal money- which they had none. He was put to work under the guard of a magic-held wolf, who was in turn put to work under a mage who was also secretly a vampire. One day, he was doing his 'chores,' when the vampire grew hungry, and no one else was around. Unfortunately, the bandit vampire wasn't as hungry to drink all his blood, leaving him alive and very much dead at the same time. Under fear of actually dying under the bandits and vampire, he managed to kill the wolf one night- while it was sleeping- and drink his first drink of blood. Shortly afterwards, he was sold into slavery, and has since traveled the world under the yoke of slavery- always escaping and being "caught" again, always being caught in places of books and learning. Abilities: - Sneaking - Daggers'n'knives - slingshots and the like - Speed-reading and photographic memory - Advice of a thousand voices - Vampire- enhanced strength and speed - Vampire- enhanced night vision and ability to use magic, of sorts (and he never has tried magic). - Vampire- can make thralls, if he does it right (and he never has tried).
I would be up to doing another TWD RP with you Anna. :) And Wilson I think the only thing you should know about the show is that the characters are all infected with the zombie plague even if they were never bitten so for example if your character died from a stab wound to the chest he would turn a few seconds later after he died.
A carrier disease that only becomes prominent when severely injured or ill, you mean? Understood. I've only watched a few episodes, one of them being the one where they found the revelation of how the illness shut down the brain and etc. etc etc.
William eyed the new lady with- again- interest and suspicion. However, he was the first to move or say anything, already taking the initiative, his distanced caution giving way to merely suspicion of his surroundings. He took a step forward, noting her accent and appearance, almost impulsively complimenting her as he did with De Winters, but he stopped himself. Her eyes seemed... not unkind or unfriendly, but there was a certain feeling it gave him that made him wary. So instead, with his foot forward, he replied, "Greetings, I am William, or any variant of the name "Will" you can think of." His face held no smirk or smile, but had the hint of amusement that might come from copying one's speech format, and replying with it in kind. He was not mocking- only a sort of timid friendliness that comes with someone who may fear getting rejected in his ways, even as he spoke with confidence.
