Have you read the OP? The whole goal of our character's is to prevent expansion onto other planets.

As for technology, with advanced filtering capabilities which would likely be present in the future water will be completely recyclable (read up on the ISS' water supply). As for food, genetically modified crops have already proved to be the way of the future in the mass production of food, as long as we limited food-waste we wouldn't have a problem sustaining a larger population (American throws away 40% of its food).

Except the population is like over 2x the population is today. We may throw away a lot of food, and we may be able to make more, but with the amount of people, damn, food production would struggle with keeping up with the needs of people. I suspect that food shortages in poorer areas and even in some lower middle-class areas might not be unexpected or uncommon. Even the rich's feast may be equal to a middle-class meal at a restaurant that enjoys large meal portions.
So, what tech level are we dealing with?

Really bloody advanced, that's the level.
I would think that some level of mental clarity is necessary for becoming an Immortal to minimize collateral or something like that.

What does "minimize" mean?
What if they were batshit crazy to begin with?

Aye, I think all our characters would belong in an asylum if they were normal humans. Undoubtedly, each of our characters would have a psychopathic genocidal side, since all the deaths/murders/etc over the years of human history would drive a normal, sane man completely mad.

Stehlruh'Coluk das Cyrus waited attentively over his communication officer's shoulders, waiting for him to transcribe the message. Oddly, the message was sent with a code similar to their own, similar enough for the auxiliary AI to reformat it and pass it on. After a couple minutes of waiting, Stehlruh asked, "Well, what do you know?"

The communications officer jerked, not realizing that his commander was standing right behind him, but answered without missing a beat. "I think... there's some introduction, I think, and then something about them being the top pointy stick and leader of the... Searonese? They must submit because they can't do anything else-" Stehlruh grunted, muttering, "Smart of them," -"and I think something where their planet was taken by someone else. Presumably more powerful than them, and from the tech officer's scans, I believe they are close to our own technological level. Hard to be sure without a better equipped ship to take scans."

Stelhruh grunted and turned back to his central podium, where he commanded the ship. Sitting down in his captain's chair, he surveyed the holographic image of the ship. It was not a new ship, for sure- the ship had evidence of much use.

"Communications, send the following message in our own language as soon as possible. Accompany it with their message, and what you have translated following just behind it." "Aye, sir. Ready to record."

"My name is Ship Commander Stehlruh'Coluk das Cyrus, of the Hocklyn Empire's Destroyer Cyrus. Decelerate to match our ship's speed, and we will relay your stand down to the rest of our fleet. Refuse to comply will result in your ultimate destruction. I am not a diplomat- do not barter with me. Nor am I a kind Hocklyn, and so I advise that you do not test me in this. We will escort you to our fleet, and we will return to one of our systems, where we can trade information. Make no mistake, Queen... Pestifo, you are considered a prisoner of war until you convince us otherwise. Any sign of weapons or an unauthorized FTL jump will prompt our immediate retaliation."

"Aye sir, finished recording and message is on its way." Stehlruh'Coluk das Cyrus glanced at the hologram again, before barking, "Helm! Bring us on a course for the Fleet, ten percent C." "Aye, cap'n."
@WilsonTurneryup, got it that time. And yea, @RomanAria, this happens far too often, but usually it's isolated between Wilson and Duck. The rest of us usually stay out of it.

Jessss I got it.

And yeah, me and Rogue (Rogue was one of the Big Three players when the roleplay first started on the MCForums) are kind of like the sword to duck's shield, and vice versa. Rogue's Draconians (which I have occasionally taken up) were kind of like duck's MLP nation's opposites. Scale versus hair, claw versus hoof, peace and magic versus war and technology, that kind of thing.

Welcome to the Endless Feud 'Tween Archenemies, of Thy Duck and Thy Wilson. He also had a grudge against Rogue, whom he believes to be me.

Zadubadabu is the cameraman.

Speaking of which, did I finally spell it right? zadubadabu?
