Name: Enormel / Lemrone

Powers: Enormel can contain practically any kind of energy inside himself, physical/mental/spiritual/magic/divine/existential. His whole being (body/mind/spirit/soul) function like a vault for it, fueled by his well of power. If he is tired or hurt (or really distracted) he can accidentally discharge some of it. The more new energy he has inside of him the harder it is to either retain what he has, or get more.
Lemrone is capable of absorbing different kinds of energies, though it's harder depending on the amount and intensity. He is also able to assimilate energies into his well of power, likewise the difficulty depends on the energies.

Emlem can draw from his well of power to control and shape it directly or use it to fuel his other powers.

Shapeshifting, Emlem fills himself with power to transform into something better suited for the situation. When Lemrone takes control he turns himself into a demonic humanoid better suited to draw energies from their surroundings.

Personality: Enormel is paranoid and twitchy, often ignoring his surroundings to mumble to himself. When you get through his shell you notice that he is caring and kind of a pacifist. Lemrone on the other hand is pushy, sadistic and murderous, a complete psychopath only interested in himself.

Bio(optional): Enormel grew up as a mage, but when he was still a child an accident trapped a big amount of spiritual enteties in his body. Instead of becoming possessed however, his magical power "ate" the new energy, and it developed a personality of its own, at first a simple mirage of Enormel. But as time went his now selfaware well of power Lemrone grew stronger, feeding off of energies all around them. And soon tried to take control.
Now every moment is a fight for control over their shared being, Enormel trying to keep them from hurting people and Lemrone trying to grow stronger.

@Windstormugly Thing about cliche is, it may be overused and unoriginal to you cause you have seen many other characters like that but to the person building that character, a person who doesn't watch anime or RP in general, it may be entirely new to him.

Also, I like to build my characters around my powers. Can I have that Obito Uchiha power that makes him intangible while using his Kamui? SO basically he teleports his body to another dimension and nothing in this world can affect him. So my dimension would be the Shadow Plane. His sheer willpower keeps the creatures on that plane from taking his soul and although he can't see them he can sense them and feel their gaze pierce through him from every angle. His emotionless attitude keeps him hidden from the bigger part of the resident devourers of that realm but there are a few who have marked him and keep on following him everywhere, waiting for an opportunity when he ultimately slips. The longer he stays there the harder it is to keep them away.

He can also open the portal and drag someone through to that dimension and leave them there. Besides the creatures that are there, the plane itself is gradually transforming him. The more time he spends there the more his soul corrupts giving him additional powers from that plane but the time he can spend there with his will shield on gets dramatically reduced as, like I mentioned above, his soul loses it's initial form and so does the will power. He can recover but veeeeeery slowly.

When he comes out of the plane he leaks a shadow essence for some time, a mark that the plane has left on him. He can open small portals with his finger effectively writing with shadows and doing other creative things.

Tropes and clichés are not exclusive to anime and RPs, originality is long dead and unless you live in a vacuum you have likely been exposed to a fair amount by your teenage years. Books, tv-series, cartoons, comics, movies, even anecdotes told by people from their Real Lives are tropes and clichés. It's all about standard settings or often-happening situations and personalities built from obvious pasts.
And as I said, that's fine, what matters is that your char grows into their cliché with their own tweak to it, a fitting reasonale for themselves adhering to the setting and some matter of self-awareness.

Regarding your char-idea, I believe some kind of such can be reached, do put the char up and we'll look it over. This world does have a fair amount of lore and rules that will affect how and what works.

(In my opinion players that can't retain interest should learn to have patience, but I know I say that as one who sometimes disappear for weeks xD)

@The Jest It's possible to communicate without a language, someone could write stuff on a piece of paper or mime out a action, Vivian can still talk aswell, also if one person knows sign language its possible for that person to act as a interpreter.

@Windstormugly by immunity I mean anything that relies on sound, for an example if a Angel had a spell that kills people via loud noises, Vivian would be too deaf to be affected because she can't hear. if something relies on a person's hearing to work, it simply won't because Vivian can't hear anything.

I have a question, what do you expect my character to do that is so cliche and dull, I want to know so I don't do that.

You could use your music to express yourself as well as understand others ;)

Regarding the char, it isn't that I expect you to do something so much as the char itself being cliché. (This is not bad in itself, and if you put it the hard way every char will be cliché and trope-made.) The important thing is not to be defined solely by the cliché and sometimes cringe backstory and personality. But to let it grow and take on its own tweak of the cliché.

Now then, that Immunity:
Your last example works well. Say a siren's call.
But abilities/spells that relies on sound are not so black and white. A strong sound will damage you whether you hear it or not, as will sounds meant to disrupt your balance, or meant to vibrate your brain into mush. And magic manifested by sound or traveling on sound won't be hindered by your inability to hear it.

For the record, I don't have a lot against cliché character traits, or backstories, or abilities. But it reaches a point where it is too much at once xD
And like you said, if you can play it off nicely, then there really isn't a problem.

Abilities: Ferromancy - Metal Manipulation. Reina was built for the purpose of being on the front lines of ship battles, and as such has the power to manipulate and control metal in her vicinity in a manner similar to telekinesis.
Android Physiology - As an Android, she doesn't have any of the needs of the flesh, and is stronger, faster and tougher than most people.
Cyber Brain - Her brain, such as it is, is distributed throughout her body, with the primary node being in a heavily armored shell in her torso. This also means that new skill, knowledge and the like can be uploaded into her brain if desired.
Sensor Platform - Her head area is equipped with a high-tech sensor platform, including all of the common sensor types, as well as some more exotic types. Commonly used modes are Zoom, IR, Nightvision, and X-Ray.

Personality: Being a being whose origin is simple ones and zeros at its base, she doesn't entirely understand human emotions or reasoning, but she makes her best efforts. However, her creators did try to program in emotions, with mixed success, and deep learning, with far greater success, she can learn. Currently, however, she is straightforwards and blunt, saying exactly what she means, with little thought of her words effect on others, caused by not knowing those effects. When people try to get her to do something, it isn't the hardest thing to convince her, as she is still struggling to grasp the concept of lying in practice, and as such believes people unless they show obvious signs, or she has the time to measure vitals to detect that way. During battle she is coldly logical, and seems to think nothing of using any method to win, including things like dismembering or crushing opponents with her powers, and likewise shows no visible signs of remorse.

Short bio: Reina was created as part of an experiment designed to test the effects of human emotions, experiences, and learning on a combat android, designed by Dr. Anette Tekardo, an ex-military Scientist who ran with her research when the Empire ordered her to shut the project down. The Mafia were quick to capitalize on this, taking Dr. Tekardo and her research in and providing her with facilities to complete her work, with the provision that they receive the benefits from this research. Being desperate, Dr. Tekardo agreed, and started work on my siblings and myself.

Upon completion and awakening, I was introduced to my new owners, the Santobello Family of the New Lancelot Mafia. My life was pure, if you can call it that, for half a year after I was turned on, as I was trained and put through rigorous tests, and as my personality formed they fitted me with weaponry that they felt suited my best. My mother, Dr. Tekardo, installed the system herself, insisting that she was the one who knew me best, inside and out. After that, my existence was a blood-soaked one. The tamest assignments were guarding the family and acting as a household servant, ready to jump into action to save their lives should assassins come calling. On the other side of the spectrum were the mass killings, the brutal murders of entire families or clans in the brutal, shadowy wars for control of the criminal underground of the Empires greatest shipping hub.

Over the years of my life that followed, I learned more and more about the world around me, as well as that thing I have which my mother call my personality... and maybe even a soul, I heard my mother mutter to herself when she thinks that we are not listening, or not around. Eventually, however, the Santobello Family got to strong, and the Empire finally took notice of them after they sent two of my siblings to murder the Planetary Governor of Lancelot Prime and his entire family, and decided to crush them. Me and my siblings, as well as the Santobello's other hired help, fought hard for the family, but we were one by one captured or killed. As I watched my life's purpose crumble around me, and my digital mind start to fray, my mother whispered... something into my ear and told me to run to a certain place at a certain time. So, I hijacked a Lancelot ship and I made for Lancelot Prime. And as I flew, dodging laser-fire of friend and foe alike, I felt a new purpose ignite itself within me. Learn, Grow, and Explore.

New Lancelot Mafia

NLM Santobello Assault Carrier

The New Lancelot Mafia is a Mafia group lead by the Santobello family, with other groups and families as subsidiaries. They are base out of the NLM Santobello, an Assault Carrier that is primarily kept within the Kuiper Cloud at the edge of the system, in a legal grey area where they technically aren't not allowed to exist, as well as various bases and hideouts on moons and asteroids all over the system. The family's primary concerns are a large variety of crime, the more profitable the better, and at the peak of their power, they could go anywhere in the system and were nearly untouchable by The Law, because they had The Laws human leaders in their pocket through blackmail, bribes and threats. However, that all changed when a rogue faction of the family tried to get the planetary governor of Lancelot Prime assassinated, and failed. This triggered a military responce, a campaign so quick and brutal that the NLMs fortified and heavily defended base, the Santobello and its accompanying fleet, was wiped out in a mere three hours.

Ok, as she is a scientifically created user of Ferromancy, with a built mind, she will have a few limitations.
Her power will take a lot of energy to use, and her versatility with it won't be that wide.
As her mind grows more "real" she will likely get better with that power.
Apparently that's how things work around here ;)

Appearance:

Like all Va'che, Tserv is about 10 feet tall, but the biotech project had some lasting effects. His "rib-legs" are no more, and his tail became an abomination, that he had to part with.
He spends most of his time wearing his EVA-combat-suit, or a more relaxed travel-getup.


Without the armor Tserv has a slight bluish skin tone, a lot of scars cover his body and the exoskeleton plates can be seen in places.

Weapons:

First and foremost in Tserv's arsenal is his refitted EVA-battle-suit. It can withstand more abuse than a regular one and has more powerful energy cells. Likewise the suit has better navigational​ thrusters. Inbuilt weaponry is an electrical discharge and an EMP (the suit itself is shielded from weaker such). There are plasma-cells stored in the suit for emergency ammo or utility. The suit has a personal shield generator that sadly uses too much energy to be operational constantly.
There is a broad variety of weaponry stored on the runner, but Tserv prefers four heavy plasma assault rifles. He has also remade them for using different kinds of ammunition.

He can also attach his armored tail to the suit for short periods of time, until it overloads his nervous system.

Abilities: Skilled pilot. Trained soldier and squadron-leader. Quadextrous shooter. Nhliki martial artist. Survivalist. Decent engineer/mechanic. Nanobot-control (lets him perform self-maintenance under controlled circumstances).
Nanite-induced system-overcharge, giving him a physical and mental high, enhancing every capability, like enabling him the extended use of his tail as well as minor telepathic powers.

Personality: Tserv has no problem following orders, but he tends to do it his way, which might include ultraviolence.

Short bio:

Tserv grew up on one of the military-ships of the Gehestl fleet. He was born one among many Va'che to a Nil'che military mother. Their father, the Che'kiv captain of the ship demanded one thing from his Va'che children, that they become soldiers. And a soldier Tserv became.

Soon after he got to first lieutenant he among many others were chosen for a bio-enhancement project. A procedure that would finally break the barrier of the other Che from the Che'kiv. At first the experiment seemed a success. All participants started showing signs of a metamorphosis, but soon they started to die, their own bodies rejecting the changes. More than half of them very dead by the time anyone found a way to supress the "Shedding". A syntethic enzyme carried by biotech nanites.

Sadly, the nanite-treatments were more expensive than the potential profit from the false Chel'kiv. And they were deemed an acceptable loss. Some of them survived thanks to a degrading into Va'chel, but Tserv instead decided that if he wasn't wanted, then he would rather leave. So he rang in some favors, and made off the fleet with a ship and enough nanites to last him a lifetime.

That was 60 years ago, and during that time Tserv has made a living as a mercenary, smuggler and occasional pirate. He has learnt to stabilize his body better with a combination of the bio-nanites and nanobots of his own creation. Along the way he also had to amputate his tail, but he keeps it alive and well on his ship, as he can reattach it when he wants to.

Finding the flyer on a smuggler-station, however it had ended up there it caught his interest, and he ended up joining the crew of the Typhoon.

The Runner WIP

She is a trustworthy ship that has gotten him through more than one tough situation.

Shields: Plasma shields. Full shielding of ship, activated use. Useful against energy-weapons, meager use against plasma- gravity- and kinetic weapons, all but useless against missiles, mines and drones. 2 generators for ship body, one generator for each wing.
Armaments: Energy-beam cannon mounted in ships prow, draws ship-energy. 5 kinetic turrets, 1 ship roof, 2 ship keel, 1 atop each wing. 6000 rounds per minute, 2km/sec velocity (30.000rounds/turret full load). Cruise-missiles, 10 kiloton yield (12 missiles full load).
