Anyways, sorry for my absence, got a bit busy with work and the like. I'm aiming for this weekend to start things up! Before then and once I have most everything at 99%, I'll take a role call to see who all's here!

In reality, I'm shooting for sometime this week, hopefully by Friday. No promises, though.

Whenever I set a deadline, my mind is notorious for convincing me I can put it off until then. And then, when the time comes, it just goes "It's too late now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

That's it that's my brain: a series of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, I try not to set deadlines for myself and just do it. Especially when I get sudden bursts of "I wanna do the thing!" So yeah, tl;dr: I'm shooting for this week, but, uh, don't be surprised if that doesn't happen. I still need to work on a lot of different behind of the scenes things.

You know how they do when they release things bit by bit, they usually put themselves ahead of the curve (so a web comic will start with the first issue, but the artist will already be working on the fifth one) just in case they hit a snag and fall behind, they'll still have content to fall back on. That's what I'm tryin to do here. It shouldn't take a few months tho, more like a few days to a week.

(I should say they also aren't set in stone. The thing I'm working on now is 'Canon Fixes' and that includes changes to Garret, most of all. The rest are just plot outlines, so they're malleable but they're there to keep things in motion. ^^ Just for more clarity. Am I being to transparent? I hope not. Jeeze)

That depends on the character and whether they will benefit from their backstory or not. Usually, back stories give good insight on why a character acts the way they do.

Take someone like Steve Rogers, for example. Big guy in a small body, always gotta prove something, lived in the Great Depression, mom died when he was young. He's stubborn, bullheaded, and has anger issues - when he's set, he's set. In Civil War, at least in the comics, he tramples over everyone to do what he thinks is right. Yet, Steve's inherently good, at heart and that's because of his upbringing but also not. Sometimes backstory gives you a lot and sometimes it's used to juxtapose a character's personality. Good despite not having anything.

Same with Clint Barton. His backstory, most of all, shows us who he is and what it made him. Clint wears his heart on his sleeve. He's just such an impeccably good person and happy person it's hard to know what he went through and harder to acknowledge his own depression.

ANYWAY ENOUGH OF THAT. Do what you think is right for the character regardless of overuse and cliches.

I'm still ironing out kinks in the canon, so assume Kate Bishop is indeed around and is probably Hawkeye too. Pretty sure they both just shared the Hawkeye title. Barney's Hawkeye too... if I'm not mistaken. Ugh. No, he might be running around as Trickshot.

Anyway, you should probably come up with a pretty good reason why this guy's running around as Hawkeye too. Anyway, yeah, probably a bio that involves vigilantism. And the guy runs around calling himself Hawkeye, Clint's like "???" and maybe that grabs SHIELD's attention, too.

EDIT: I KNOW HIS DAD'S ABUSIVE, OKAY. I'M PRETTY SURE BARNEY WAS PRETTY ABUSIVE OF CLINT, TOO. BUT IT'S CLINT. HE LOVES EVERYONE, OKAY.
