When she learned about splicing people's DNA with Pokemon DNA she was intrigued and wondered if she could be considered a type of witch when they spliced her DNA. She got her DNA spliced with a fairly witch-like pokemon that would occasionally help to summon ghosts. When she awoke and found herself with these abilities of the pokemon Lampent she accidentally almost caught the bed on fire with Ember.
