Max smiled gently as Grim held him close. The two were hanging out in the cafeteria during a free period. They both suddenly perked up, heading the sound of someone walking towards them. They looked up to see a max security patient walking towards them. She was out of her straitjacket which caused Max to get up. "Hey, back off before I call for guards," Max said in a stern tone of voice. The max security patient glared at Max before glancing over at Grim. Grim seemed frozen with fear. It was sudden but she grabbed Max by his throat and slammed him into the wall. Grim's eyes widened in terror but he couldn't move. She had a tight trip on Max's throat causing him to gasp and choke. She started slamming Max into the wall repeatedly, crimson red from the back of Max's head staining the white cafeteria wall. Max was trying to struggle but after seven of eight slams, he started to grow still. She let go of him and walked out of the cafeteria. Grim ran to Max, trembling heavily and collapsed to his knees. He pulled Max close and teared up. "I'm not ready to be alone again, Max..." Grim said softly. Max placed a hand on Grim's cheek and spoke weakly, "I'm sorry, Grim..." "It's not your fault, Max... I guess... I need to say goodbye." Grim said, trying hard not to break down. Max fell limp and his eyes grew dull. Grim pulled Max's body close and started sobbing. He heard a guard enter the cafeteria and when the guard spoke he knew who it was. His own guard was here. "Grim, what happened in here?!" the guard asked. Grim looked up and he spoke softly, "A max security patient came in and killed Max." The guard stared at Grim and called for backup. When the other guards arrived, Grim explained what happened and have them a description of the max security patient. His guard readied to grab Grim's chain collar but then reached out his hand to Grim. "Come on Grim. Let's head back to your room," he said gently. Grim took the guard's hand and the guard gently lead Grim back to his room.
