@Mokley You had to drop Aslynn in the middle of a turf war, didn't you?

@drewccapp I like Rain, she's fun to read. She reminds me of a rabbit, just waiting for the chance to bolt.

Nali is just trouble waiting to happen, I'm not sure what direction she'll go in.

The sudden silence sent an eerie chill up the red head's spine, her arms subconsciously reaching up to try and rub warmth back into her sides. With the rain stopped the cold slowly started seeping into her bones, the hunger pooling in her stomach started to churn. It seemed the gem from earlier wouldn't be enough to sate it this time, the forbidden taste of blood starting to well up in her mouth as she bite her tongue trying to stave off what could possibly be the inevitable. A shaky sigh left her tormented chest as the other woman, the one in prison rags, was thrown back by a strange creature.

Hair slipped into Nali's face as her head titled trying to make sense of the specter in front of her.

I AM A GOD IN NEED OF A BODY. YOU ARE ALL BODIES IN NEED OF YOUR GOD. DO I HAVE A VOLUNTEER?
...
HURRY, OR SHE WILL SING AGAIN...AND YOUR BLOOD WILL RUN.

"Do all God's look so...strange?" Curious Nali circled the strange apparition, sway lightly as she did the loose rubble and various holes in and around the floor made completing a perfect circle rather hard to do. "Besides you could just be a demon wanting our souls. How do we know if you're a Good God, or a Bad God? Which God are you anyway? There are so many, wouldn't helping you upset the rest of them?"

If she was going to die in this place then she saw no reason to be respectful in front of any self-pronounced God. 'Besides it's not like I have any room for something else trying to wrest control from me..though I wonder which would win...some ancient God..or this curse of mine...' Her thoughts failed to mimic her cheerful nature as she stopped her circling looking back towards the other girl. The one who looked like she would take off up the wall like a scared rabbit any moment, but at the rate the Stone was crumbling Nali doubted she would get very far.

Shrugging she hummed softly walking over to the girl, "Wouldn't it be better if we just tried unbarring the front door? There's a good chance the wall could come crashing down while you're still climbing. We don't even know if it'll hold anyone's wait..." Her tone was cheerful enough, after all she was trying not to scare the poor girl. By the looks of her, the thief wasn't sure she even belonged in this damned place but it was far from it for to have the right to judge anyone else.

She looked back at the other two, actually looking over the small boy gleefully chewing on...a banana peel? A small chortle of laughter escaped her at the sight, there wasn't even a banana. A quick hand covered her mouth trying to hide the small smile on her face before coughing attempting to disperse the laughter hanging in the air around her. "You know, he might be small enough to make it up the wall.." She mused out loud wondering how to even ask the boy, he was so enthralled with the banana peel after all.

'Food. He's probably hungry..'

She wasn't sure why, but it bothered her the idea of their small makeshift group being broken up. Whether it was from the hunger wanting to keep food around or the thought of being alone again she wasn't sure. Either way more people meant a lower chance of her dying. Quickly switching gears, a twirl on her heel she headed back over to the boy and the witch as well. "Perhaps, we can continue this discussion elsewhere? I for one don't want my blood soaking into the ground, nor do I want to become food for the ogre..." She grinned while she talked, an easy going smile, one that was simple to hide behind after all aren't most thieves carefree. Her brow scrunched as she tried to remember what the small boy had yelled out a few minutes earlier, but in this strange place it felt like hours had already pasted since she woke up.

The hunger would have none of it, all of her thoughts turned towards food as her eyes slowly started to glow a pale yellow, forcing her to quickly scramble for the pouch tucked in her belt the rain had made her fingers slick making it hard to work the knot on the pouch, the air around her rippling slightly with the growing blood lust.
@Hellis Question~! Can we only have one character?
@Illumin0sity Air does not include lightning. It means literally just the air. I would suggest something like cutting, hightpressure air"blades" in place of the lightning. Electricity/Lightning is its own element.

I toned it down, haha I was feeling poetic when I wrote it, but I'm glad you like her. It's a heavy impact shot that can only be used once, depending on how much power is put into it, it can drain the crystal with just one casting of it.

If that clears anything up.

@Hellis Done~! Sorry about how long it took, writer's block is a bitch...hah..
Sorry! ^^"

I've had a major case of writers block with this one...it's not the best post, but I figured something was better than nothing...hah...
Heavy breathing soon fogged up the car window as the young musician rested her head against the cool glass; her pale skin was flushed with color from a mix of fear and signs of exertion. Groaning softly Saki rested a hand against her side, a stitch gleefully making itself known, it had been years since the slender woman was forced to run like that. Her mind was still reeling trying to understand and absorb what just happened, the last thing she could remember was Natazume asking if she had felt uneasy. The scenery rolled by pleasantly, happy and cheerful as if nothing had happened.

She frowned slightly, what had happened...she had been sitting on the bank watching everyone else mingle and play her feet dangling into the water, the warm summer sun heating her back. A book was precariously perched on her lap, flipped open to a random page with bright pictures and flowing script simply waiting to be read. Calloused fingers toyed with the books fraying edges; another one of her father’s collection, it spoke of demons and conquest, a tale about a young man sucked into the netherworld and how he fought bravely to return back to his beloved. In truth it was a child’s tale; something one’s parents would read to them before bed, either that or warn them off to sleep with tales about monsters yokai eating your soul for misbehaving. She had always enjoyed those better than simple fairy tales.

The rest had become a blur, the box of watches, Taka’s childish jest about severed hands, even her own curiosity towards the strange gadget. The multi-colored mist was still vivid in her mind as was the Oni it had brought with it, now that she had time to think on it she frowned realizing she had left her book sprawled out on the shrine steps where she had dropped it in the mad dash down the mountain. She wondered if it was still in one piece and if she would have the time to go get it.

As the car slowed down so did her breathing, the car cut off as if shuddering from the same exhaustion settling into her muscles. She was definitely going to feel this in the morning but for now she slide out of the car rejoining the others offering a non-verbal grunt in reply of the inquiry about the group's well being. Calloused fingers rummaged through her short hair removing pieces of twig and brush as she did a quick inspection of herself, her glasses seemed to have survived the ideal with remarkably little damage. Still frazzled by the events Saki had to run to catch up with the others heading towards the clock store, taking the time to inspect the watch on her arm. It really did seem like a kid's toy, the colored dial against the white casing, the strange scope attached to it.

Flipping it open she looked through it seeing the small creatures appear in its view once again, different shapes and sizes passed through the view as she filed into the store snapping it close returning her attention to Tamago as he asked about them and the strange creature that had chased them down the mountain. The explanation peaked her interest her head tilting slightly to the side as she continued to listen to her friends ask question and make comments. “Be friend demons….?” Sake mused looking back at the watch wondering if the cook book she had recently started reading had actual merit, though her attempt at creating treats left little to be desired; she was even having a hard time pushing the strange concoctions off on her friends.

“Do they actually like treats?” Her question was seemingly lost as Whisper popped into life happily chattering on and on about how he was a spiritual guide and be happy to answer any questions. He reminded her of the man who gave tours of the town always going on about how great everything was. Kazumi raised a good point in asking why the box had been left carelessly on the mountain side, even Saki would admit that seemed bad for business. Wouldn’t it have been better to sell them off to people willing to take up the task. She found herself sliding forward to the front of the group to gain a better look at Whisper, noticing that Tamago could easily wave his hand through the strange creature.

“I’m Sayuki, but everyone calls my Saki.” Her greeting was cheerful enough as she looked him over, “Ne, do all demons talk? Or are some more animalistic?”
