Well, hello, I'm Witch Cat, as you already know. And I'm an unimportant nobody on the internet with no life! Well, that first part is a lie, I'm wanted in 17 states but I digress. I guess you want to know a little more about me, so here goes. (God, I never learned how to start these)
So umm, I'm just a RPer on the internets. I'm from Iran, which makes me a PURRsian, and I moved to the states a while ago. I know 4 languages, only 2 of those fluently, but I still prefer RPing and talking in English. I'm not really a witch or a cat (or am I?), but I still like making good luck jars and sigils for the ~＊~ＡＥＳＴＨＥＴＩＣ~＊~. I think I have a notebook full of sigils and written rituals lying somewhere that I use for RPs.
Speaking of RPs, before the most I've done are short 1x1 RPs with strangers on Omegle, very few RPs which I remember fondly. But coming to the RPGuild was my first experience RPing in a group and I've been loving it so far! I've met a lot of wonderful people, joined a bunch of memorable RPs, and had a butt load of fun. Can't wait for more!

Time to use our favourite tool to ignore problems, Magic! Here's my idea, all blood is infused with magic, Vampires need magic to survive, Vampires evolved to consume blood for magic, and that's why vampires drink blood.
I hate to bring in preexisting properties, but this sorta reminds me of JJBA, with the talk of a family of immortals. In the show, a really long time ago, a bunch of superpowerful beings roamed the Earth, think vampires+. They needed to feed, but they were careful not to overbreed due to immortality and food availability. Then this fucko Kars gets born, thinks: Man, look at this mask im so cool and more powerful n shit. But, he needed much more food. Like a lot more. The rest of this society tries to kill him because he and his rebel friends will eventually wipe out all life on Earth. But due to his ability, he killed all his people.
Long story short, a family of vampires could lead to problems with feeding and population.
itd be like in ghostbusters with the proton packs but instead its a blood transfusion machine. But i would think if we were following the complete vampire cell transformation, the cells would reorganize your internal organs so blood could be consumed and enter the circulatory system
Maybe it shouldn't be the blood you need, but just what's in the blood? Plasma is just 90% water anyway, but cells, iron, ect. are still in it. So instead of having to make up a whole new organ system, we could just say ingesting the blood could also work because it's not the blood itself the vampire needs, but what's in it. If we want to say the body goes into survival mode, pooling energy and blood into vital organs, then it would seem silly to say that vampires couldn't make their own plasma at least. So, do vampires have an iron deficiency?
bc he needs the blood to survive? i think what hes trying to convey is that vampires need blood like the rest of us, but cant produce their own.
Well, he did say if vampires fed on blood, it'd just be like drinking water. So like, is he planning to make vampires get a blood transfusion to get the blood they need? It'd be funny seeing Atlas trying to fight while hooked up to a machine.
i dont see anything really contradictory with my posts. he doesnt like blood because of his PTSD, although i could be forgetting something.
Yah but then, why does he force himself to drink it? In your first post, we see him forcefully down a cup of coffee blood. I'm fine with having the disease idea, but we should really look it over again for any contradictions like tomorrow morning or something.
I'm gonna go to bed. I seriously think the disease option is going to be the one I'll keep. It fits the classic vampire the best as well as giving options for a couple of off shoots that still are clearly vampires. The genetics idea feels like its almost too original like it would be an ok center to a story purely about vampires.
Eh alright then, your RP anyway. Maybe one faithful day, my idea for these genetic vampires will make it to another RP.
