But with time outside her little hut, she learned people seemed to adore her look. Eudora, despite using curses of the non-magic kind more than the magic kind, is a gentle person. Though her lack of social skills and love for morbid humour caused her to be shunned by everyone save the most disgusting of freaks. Whom she called friends. Sadly, those crazy few have now been long gone from Eudora's life and so Eudora took up a life of solitude. Life Before The Apocalypse

Eudora can never remember a day where she wasn't a raggedy old hag. Thinking back as for as she could care to remember, Eudora only saw herself in the same position forever. Living in a hut outside of a small town, lonely, and constantly working. Sometimes she'd get snippets of memories from her past life. Cooking for her family, who all now have been hanged for witchcraft or never write, or taking care of her kids' kids. She can barely remember the times she left her shabby hut.

Eudora does remember some events that happened outside her home. Salem Witch Trails, Industrialised Era, playing some "Pong." She was enthralled by how the world accepted magic so readily! They used sorcery to communicate to each other on tablets made of the smoothest stone and rode in giant metal bugs. The way they pronounced "thaumaturgy" as "technology" bugged her a bit, but she didn't mind too much.

Her favourite ritual of hers in the new world was by far the festivity of Halloween. She still couldn't believe there was a day celebrating the eldritch and witchy instead of hunting them. Eudora still vividly remembers being cheered on as she rode away on a broom.

Times, however, is quickly passing her. Her memory fades further and she retreats deeper into her forest. Wishing never to be seen.

Life Leading Up To the Apocalypse // What Brings You to Altsoba

Eudora had no attention to ever leave her home again. The world was quickly growing more cynical and strange, ever so more sensitive and blind to the world around them. She gazed with contempt at the little down past the lush trees and fine soil. Until now.

Eudora felt many vile energies and even more vile news as the days passed on. She'd frequently hear locks shattering with every bad news she gained. Tall tales of witches and demons killing people. "Hog-wash," she'd spit every time that damned shrunken head whined about another tragedy or another spell being cast. She was convinced it was all just a few miscast spells by young witches with no idea what they were doing.

That is until she felt the shudder. Powerful, intense magic was used that even the most mundane of mortals could feel. A warm aura of peace filled her damp hut and for once, Eudora almost felt relived. There was nothing to do but go out and investigate. She just had to! She never felt a spell that great, the rumours of the world ending and demons escaping were worth risking just to take a peak at what caused that powerful blast.

The world ain't so bad after all.

*cough* that would require a bit of rewriting but I guess I could make it work. Seeing as it will be hard to make Bella and Cin different enough to make them interesting and not copies of each other. We are in need of more male characters anyway so this might be good, or I could even make Gomez! And with Bella acting as 'Tish we might finally get a romantic sub-plot! Or not, doesn't matter to me. The only problem I see is that making Gomez the Kitchen Witch seems kinda hard to fit without making it seem awkward. Nothing about Gomez screams kitchen or witch. Then again, I could just ssh up and work on Cin. Ah, so many choices I have to make.
