[@Lotus Warrior] I brought my Strain up one because of Grit, I forgot to before.
Azrael blinked a couple times as the disorientation settled. There had barely been a whisper of magic from those runes! It wasn't often that Az was taken by complete surprise. It was even more impressive that they had sent the candidates to separate locations simultaneously. There had been quite a few!

He made sure his swordbelt was tight and gave no slack, the same for his backpack filled with odds and ends. His Masters had taught him how to make basic talismans that activated with the touch of his magick, to better conserve what energy he had. This was the moment all his training had been for! He excitedly began to walk into the cave mouth, feeling the difference in temperature immediately as the sunlight was left behind. He loosened his sword in its sheath and calmed his heartbeat with breath pacing. Azrael felt as though his body was abuzz with energy as he waited for the beginning of the exam.
I would love to see dialogue like that! And a Caribbean witch would be extreemely sassy.

I was thinking something similar if we could include a Japanese school as well. Talismans could work as pre-made charms, able to be thrown and cast! >:D

Any other ideas, guys?
@MissCapnCrunch Voodoo magic, eh? I like that too =O How would you make that into a workable system? I'm thinking some incantations, but definitely going to be heavily reliant on unique potion making?
But I like the Caribbean, VERY scenic.
@M00N thanks for the link, I'm going to put in our group PM so the other two can see it when they log in again. I don't mind at all! But I still don't know if dee will want to do Japan or not. If she doesn't check this thread to see your ideas, I'll mention it. =)

If you already have an idea for a character, with backstory, PM me and we can talk! We'll have some possible charries ready for whenever the three of us really nail this plot down.

I know, I was pretty amazed when I started reading. Did you see the one that is basically a wizard Atlantis?! I think that might be one of my favorite concepts from the list.
I'm calling dibs on an Egyptian slot just to let everyone know beforehand. Also @WittyWolf would we have a Tournament Tournament similar to the Triwizard though?


If you mean will there be a plot event with enough tragedy to make you feel like it's the end of the Triwizard Tournament and you just can't take it anymore? Then we're gonna try by golly!
Otherwise, we could see about making some kind of competition at these schools they visit, pitted against the native students? What would you want to see in the roleplay?
@PhunkyPhoebe and I are using this Tumblr page for inspiration and are just waiting to hear back from @dee to see if she likes any of these descriptions/locations. If you guys would prefer those different locations, mention dee in another post so she can see your username has posted on the thread. Mentions don't work in edits.

Because I like the idea of a Japanese school. Imagine it, silk kimono-style wizard robes. Sounds pretty pimping to me xD

Background –
Metosi was once in the line of succession for House Telvanni, until the eruption of Red Mountain. Before that he was a promising member of the prestigious House and there were high hopes for the Dunmer. He lived a life of luxury, free to pursue his true passion, the art of magic. Yet, Metosi's fate was bound in tragedy.

His family was forced to flee their home and he survived them all, much to his chagrin. Metosi lost his wife and two children in the great tragedy and lost what little hope he had left for life. He spent many years trying to assist other affected families with his gifts of magick, but eventually fell to despair after the Argonian rebellion. With most of his homeland either ravaged by natural disaster and war, Metosi left Morrowind, never to look back.

Metosi took to the road in search of death or purpose, too proud to consider the thought of taking his own life. Now he searches Skyrim for adventure and to find the unknown. Metosi hopes that maybe this quest will redeem him the eyes of Azura, and himself, and restore his will for life.

Description --

Personality -- Metosi was like most Dunmer in the early years of his life- cold, arrogant, suspicious- and conniving. Since the death of his family however, his travels have taught a many number of things of the races of the world. Each life is valuable to Metosi, but not every person has value. He is eternally composed, excepting occasional bouts of melancholia when he remembers his late family. He is fiercely loyal to those he calls friends or companions and always determined to complete the objective. He is soft-spoken and rarely loses his patience. Although it isn't expected of a Dunmer, Metosi enjoys random acts of kindness, when fortune permits such luxuries.
