Two Quidditch in our house perhaps?

I was actually just redrafting a part of my character sheet to include your character, Luc and my character as a part of the Quidditch team.

I Solemnly Swear I'm Up To No Good

Name
Devin Coal

Age
16

School Year
Fifth Year

House
Gryffindor

Short Bio
Devin was born in Vancouver, BC in Canada to two muggle parents. One worked in the tech industry while the other was a veterinarian at the city zoo. Visiting family living in New Zealand it was discovered that Devin had inherited the magical blood a portion of his mothers family still carried. Soon enough it was decided that he could pursue both education tracks. Spending the normal school year at Hogwarts and the summer catching up with his muggle studies.

Personality
Creative, resourceful, and intellectually quick are words Devin’s teachers would use to describe him on report cards. He is good at a broad range of things. Enjoys debating issues, and can be into "one-upmanship"; however, this trait is for the joy of competition and not malicious. Devin gets very excited about new ideas and projects, but can neglect the more routine aspects of life. Generally outspoken and assertive some might say he is a leader. Devin enjoys people and is stimulating company. Excellent ability to understand concepts and apply logic to find solutions.

Classes taken
Defense against the Dark Arts
History of Magic

Extra
Devin is the founder and president of the Muggle Appreciation Club (MAC) at Hogwarts. The club meets to celebrate muggle culture. At least that is what it is when talking to any professor. To Devin and other members it is a place where they can go to enjoy the comforts of the muggle world. At first it was seen as a weird thing that muggle born students went to, but after some time watching sports, partying because of some muggle holiday, and learning about muggle life had become fairly popular. Devin even got the school to allow the club room to be free of anti electricity charms so the TV and computers would work.

Devin was made a Prefect for his house. He has been looking forward to using the special bathroom more often as he was allowed access after quidditch matches since he was a team captain. Now that he is a prefect he will also be able to enjoy being out past the normal school curfew though he will be patrolling the halls looking for students sneaking out.

Devin is also the Captain and keeper for the Griffindor Quidditch team. With Jay using muggle sports tactics and Luc teaching the team how to improve their flying ability the current team is believed to be one of the strongest ever assembled. Since all three joined two years ago they won the Inter-House Quidditch Cup twice. They are back and armed with a whole new book of plays and tricks. Rumors that the three have been scouted by professional teams are common. The three haven't said anything to deny these.

Devin does not have an owl or bird to deliver letters home so instead he uses his friends birds to communicate with his friends and family back home. Since the creation of the MAC he has been able to use email more often, but his mom loves it when he sends her letter by different birds so he often seeks out new and interested birds to send her letters which mostly feature the topic of magical creatures.

Devin was required to get special acceptance to bring his somewhat large dog Chopsticks to school. Originally the school never allowed such large animals, but by relying on the magical worlds complete ignorance of the muggle world Devin was able to convince the school that muggle students were allowed to bring their dogs to school and it would be really helpful to have Chopsticks with him at school. Since then Chopsticks has enjoyed chasing the schools house elfs and going for runs with Devin around the lake.

Character Connections

Thank you. I often do a character connection for all my characters. For this one I felt it especially important since all our characters will have known each other for at least 5 years. Lot of history. Also instead of the introduce and explain our characters to each other we can just write about things that happened in those past five years. You will see me add things to the connections as the role play moves forward and we bring up funny stories, past heartbreaks, and classroom mistakes to round out the history between characters.

Character Connections

Going to also through my interest into the hat. Will likely play a ultra muggle born who started a muggle appreciation club all for the purpose of getting a TV that can pick up sports games allowed in by the professors. Likely play a character in the 16 or so range.

Thinking Hufflepuff cause they are the best.
Sorry I am going to have to drop out. My job has upped my hours and I don't see me having enough time to dedicate to keeping my character involved. Perhaps if things get a little quieter I can see it moving forward; however, for now I will politely step down.
"This place is going to hell Tallik. If we don't get replacement locks this whole enclosure is going to rip itself free from Omega." Devin said in his matter of fact voice. The engineer was working with another in the lower residential area where a minor scuffle between gangs did some damage to the outer holdings of the station. Everyone knew Omega was a dangerous place, but it was the engineers who kept the scrap heap in one piece that knew the reality. You didn't need to worry about you stepping on the wrong persons shoes or saying something offensive. Those you could avoid. It was another person doing it and then using a well placed grenade to blow the whole damn station into kingdom come.

"You know they only asked us to do a patch job Devin." Tallik said. He shook his head since he knew this wasn't enough, but at the end of the day it was all they were paid for. both Devin and Tallik weren't in the business of working for free. Still Tallik was going to pull his emergency suit a little bit closer. Unlike Devin the chemical engineer didn't wear his armor as often. The two liked and worked with each other a lot. Though Devin was more combat/ground support in experience Tallik dealt with the bureaucracy of the Cidedil and became a force to be reckoned with after applying what he learned to Omegas unique chain of command.

Tallik was why Omega wasn't so dangerous for Devin. While working under Tallik, Devin had worked for and fixed nearly every section of Omega at least two or three times and the best customers were the merc groups. They had a grenade situation come up? They called Tallik who sent Devin. Most people in the residential knew Tallik and Devin as well thanks to a small fund given by some of the more charitable winners (Casino owners). Of course this is because without Omega they don't have a place for their illegal gambling and drug dealing.

"Well I got a meeting I need to go to." Devin said after the finished up the patch work. Tallik gave him a uncertain look that was all too common when Devin talked about going to meetings. "Just going out of curiosity." Devin said to assure his friend. Though he knew those could be rather famous last words depending on what this meeting turned into. "I'll tap my transponder if things get hot." Devin added as he turned his omni-tool off. It was now fully charged so if things did get hot he wasn't going down with out a few tricks.

He knew the bar well and when he walked in he started chatting with the bartender. The history between the two was uncomfortable to some; however, some people get over you dating their sister when you save their life from venting atmosphere. "So gonna nod to the sore thumbs?" Devin asked who had been the ones who weren't regulars. The ones the bartender didn't recognize. He gave a nod here and there as Devin looked to see a krogan sized human, a krogan sized krogan, and a Turian.
I am calling it dead. At least I am removing myself from it. Good luck if this things gets going.
IC is up and happily accepting posts so get going Kingsmen recruits :D

Merlin gathered his clipboard and pen and walked out of the massive mansion and onto the sweeping greens of the front lawn. There was little other than classic Victorian architecture and french styled gardens all around him.The place had been used several times as a film location. A part of its many layer colors. What no actor, actress, director, or set designer knew was this house wasn't just a pretty face. It was home to the most secretive spy organization in the world. The Kingsmen. Outdoing the CIA in black ops, fighting against corruption in MI5, and keeping the KGB honest. These are the types of things Kingsmen do.

This job does have risk. And it is in that risk that leads to why Merlin was outside with his clipboard. Under the laws and oaths of the organization the only people who may leave the organization are by way of death or advanced injury. This has allowed the Kingsmen to remain a secret to the world. When a Kingsmen dies another of his generations knights are given his mission and tasks. When the Kingsmen numbers start to dwindle a list is produced. This list features several promising youths that Kingsmen believe will be appropriate replacements for them when they finally reach their demise. With the last mission striking down a record number, 5 Kingsmen, the list is now being activated.

Merlin looked at his watch. It read 11:50. The first trial given to the names on the list was a simple one with a twist. They were all brought to Capetown, South Africa and told to arrive where Merlin stood at noon sharp in four days. They were also left with no money, passport, or phone. For those that showed up early or late would be sent home. A gentleman is never early or late. They always arrive right on time.
