lol ALL the ships! Anyhow, SOLDEIR is supposed to be neutral between the species. They are peacekeepers. They *will* protect vampires from extremist humans... although I'd admit that doesn't happen as often. Vampire vs. vampire action they probably wouldn't tend to intervene, but I'm sure they would at least pretend to care if some vampire were flying through the world killing vampires with the intent to eliminate them. Currently, SOLDIER is the only thing protecting the local vampires from the Purge invasion. They have no idea Magnus is also coming. Two enemies at once? I don't think they would survive that. The vampires could wait out the battle then show up and clean up like Bloodseeker in DOTA2.

Strygwyr couldn't help but silently aid the Dark One by bringing stones. Perhaps their was some conclusion in the act, but it also got the job done more quickly. He nodded in response to the Dark One's desire to mimic Eclipse, but added nothing further. Truth was, he was going to miss the comforts of the tribal lifestyle here. The environment was different, but it just slightly reminded him of home. "Let us find higher ground." He said as he remembered the nice, dry mountains. "They will not find us if we keep moving." Hesitating, he tilted his head at Kishin curiously. "Where did you come from?"

A very nice post. Good times were had by all. Now I wonder, is Rebecca for eliminating vampirism from the Earth? Is she basically sharing the same agenda as the Purge? But as a vampire? That's pretty extreme to want to completely wipe out your own kind. I like it.

The secret to making an impressive-looking post is really to describe only a few actions, then fill the rest with commentaries on what just happened prior to the post, and make internal suggestions to drive the plot for the person in the next post. If thee is any space remaining, simply add unnecessary details to various objects in the setting.

The master at work. But yes, that's a good strategy. I did try to leave big hints at plot development in my last post. I didn't do very much beautiful description, but I was in a rush. Just getting the action down had to suffice.
