The giant dragon crashed clumsily back to the ground, shrieking its protest. Its magics were rushed and mistargeted and ineffective. Its escape had failed, and it knew it. As it stretched out its neck along the ice, its open mouth giving a silent cry as its eyes focused on things beyond this realm, Alice remained on top of it making sure it was dead this time. From her vantage point, she could see that Mithias was free from his ice block which looked half melted behind him. He walked up to the dragon and quickly took advantage of its wounds.

Dragon blood was a new one for the vampire, but his instincts told him it would sustain him. His strength returned, his mind cleared, and his mind-ward power and pyrokinesis were back to full strength. He was much relieved.

"Alice." Mithias said as he backed away from the dragon. Blood was on his chin and hands. "Let's go to your gods."

I... don't even know what to do about Kami the vampire.
I'm surprised Kami didn't simply slice the sledgehammer in half. Those blades cut through anything at the right angle. Maybe he was too slowed to land it?

Kurai, gonna help Kami? Hank has his hands full.

A cold wind blew some sparkling snowdust across the crater from Bob and Drac's explosion. Mithias once again stopped, listening. He looked over at the three dead dragons. Their recently spilt blood was completely run out, cold, and freezing on the ice. Mithias somehow innately knew he could drink that blood, but not if it was dead, which it was. he turned his solemn expression toward the human clan members and warriors that were now surrounding the dragons, preparing to make use of them.

A deep sound pulsed once in his mind, as if he had heard it at wavelengths that no other being could possibly have appreciated. A heartbeat, just one, echoed in his blood like a memory, like a judge's gavel slamming down, casting his sentence. It was the sound of blood.

The vampire scanned the people who stood bravely watching him, and he began walking slowly toward the humans. Mithias didn't say anything as he approached and passed the young, the girls, an older man was selected as his target, his prey. The man didn't run. A girl briefly began a shout in protest, but was quickly grabbed by another clan member and told to be still.

Mithias got close. The man closed his eyes. His neck was right there, so warm and alive. The pulse of a big, thundering beat rang again in Mithias' senses and he realized.. it was coming from a direction. The background suddenly came into focus into his glowing red eyes as his gaze met the cracked eye-slits of one of the dragons. There was light there. It was not dead!

With his mind lost to hunger, Mithias animalisticaly moved to leave he man and started walking swiftly and hungrily over toward the dragon.

Seeing its ruse was up, the albeit seriously wounded giant, scaly beast suddenly picked up its head and threw out a wing. Its claws raked the ground, shooting shards of ice in all directions as it opened its maw in a desperate last attempt to escape. A blast of ice-breath enveloped the oncoming vampire. Mithias was blind with thirst and was caught directly in it, throwing his arms up in front of himself, but inevitably getting encased in a block of ice. Most beings would have been killed. The dragon then proceeded to drag its wounded body up threateningly, humans ran from it, and it roared at Alice. It was going to try to get away and kill anything in its way.
So stryg and dark one are in that city with the toxins now too.
Kami stabbed Mithias. Magnus stabbed Kami.

The pain of the wound completely denied worthy of attention, Mithias pulled back, strategically analyzing his error within a fraction of a second and committing to memory the expert technique he had witnessed. Kami had a repitiore of the unexpected, and that was deadly. Mithias couldn't afford to underestimate him. Recklessness would only lead to a swift death, despite his bravery.

Mithias attacked again, keeping his opponent busy, this time more respectful of the slayer's threat. The vampire quickly began to realize that he was faster than Kami, and that Kami's leg had been grabbed, impairing his movement. With every passing moment, Mithias was gaining confidence and Kami's technology was degrading.

The two relocated as they fought, and Hank charged in and picked up Magnus from where he had been on the ground. There was no way to turn around and attend to Magnus even if he was in danger. Even if Magnus died, Kami was too dangerous to try to depart from. As much as he hated to risk it, Mithias had to let Magnus deal with Hank himself.

Hale bopped around, forcing Kami out of position frequently, and making it difficult for the assassion to get a good swing at either Mithias or his blades. Meanwhile, Mithias kept his deceptive, parriless bladework going. He wasn't allowing any direct hits against his titanium, and would use leverage techniques and edge-grinding slides to cast Kami's swords out of line. Still, the cyborg warrior knew how to take advantage of every opportunity with his ingenuitive technique, and Mithias wasn't unscathed. A few of his attacks failed. With each cut he received, the vampire lost a little blood, and thus even the immortal also had a limit to his duration. Mithias realized didn't have to be unrelenting so much as patient. His superior speed would win this as Kami slowly ran out of fuel and fell to the aura of ruination. He began to feel hope.

Surely some trick would be up Kami's sleeve. He would have some poison, some flashbomb, or some suicidal explosive. Mithias kept that knowledge in the back of his cautious mind as he kept dinging at Kami's armor, working on its weak points. A small cross flashed from the vampire's neck.
Hmm. My kid just threw Magnus.

The sound of arcing electricity sunders the peace while white light bursts forth from a completely random and unstable portal.

"And here we are!" Wraithblade honks the horn a few times at Creed and whoever else he is with and nearly bumps him as she steps on the breaks in her convertible. Strygwyr's head is gleefully sticking out the back window area with his tongue hanging out.

She stops the floating car and then lands it in park on the ground. She turns and puts her arm on the window. "Bloodseeker, Dark One. Make friends with this guy." She points at Creed. "I don't know what the hell else is actually going on, because I was at work all day and I didn't read all the shit people posted." Wraithblade opens up the glove compartment and rummages through papers and random shit in there while Stryg and young Darky get out. "Hey! Goddamnit, Strygwyr, shut the door! yes, the door... Yes that. It's a car-door, it's still a "door..." NO! What are you doing! Put your leg down!!" Wraithblade shakes her fist in embarrassment and despair as Strygwyr proves his association with dogs. "You're one of my favorite characters!"

Strygwyr grins wide at Creed.

@Wraithblade6
"All right...." Hesitating, the woman wasn't entirely sure how to react to this slew of strange. Of course, she had clearly witnessed the appearance of several figures before, including one who had attempted to wipe her memory of the event. So she was certainly willing to accept that he came from a place foreign to her. And the great chasms she'd seen in the ground confirmed that some battle had occurred while she was knocked out. But telling this figure that might not be the best move. She still wasn't sure if he was a threat or not, and to what extent his powers remained. "Whatever you say. Of course, if we do manage to pull this off, you're going to have to show me this shit, so I know you're not crazy."

She held out her hand, choosing to currently ignore the implication that he ate people. "My name's Alice. If we're going to be working together, I should know your name."

Mithias stopped and hesitated. He looked at her hand and time slowed down for a moment. Alice was a beautiful name. The lady's offered hand sparked a cordial reflex in him, and he reached to take it gently. He lowered his eyes as he bowed, "Mithias." He answered her, bringing her hand to his fangs.

Suddenly he stopped, just centimeters away from her skin. He gasped as the fog cleared. Where had his control gone? He was hungrier than he thought! He realized he was holding her hand quite tightly and let it go. "I'm sorry!" He backed away, honestly ashamed and furious with himself. "Please don't kill me... I can't keep doing this. He covered his eyes which had begun to change.

He tried to explain. "You must... You need to let me go. I am an 'animal.' I need to feed. I didn't realize how bad it was." He lowered his hands from his eyes, unsure how Alice would see him. "I know nothing of your plight. I wish I did, and I wish I could truly help you. Trust me, you have no idea how much I want to help you... but how can I?" Goddamnit! Mithias gritted his teeth. "You must abandon me and look away. Perhaps we will meet again. I am sorry." Painfully, he turned to go, staggering out into the endless wasteland of ice completely alone for the first time in a long time.
@Thantos Ok. I can post after work today, I think. I'm pulling back to back 12 hour shift for a few days. ugh. Kill me.
