Into the Harsh Light of Day

Greetings all. It looks like you are about to get started here, and I'm curious if I could fit in a role somewhere. I've read the OC and all the characters, and I'm thinking I could play one of a few different things, potentially.

I thought about playing a potential, *traitor* hunter. This is a guy who's grown up with hard luck, seen the bad side of humanity, and seriously doubts they don't need some culling. He might even be jealous of vampires, naively thinking they are more free from the tangles of human life and society. Maybe fear keeps him in line, maybe he could set free a captured vampire in secret, something like that.

But you do have like 3 hunters.

I could alternatively play a turned vampire. I'd like this vampire to be old enough to be settled in the society, have a set place, perhaps blood relations to current other characters. He'd side with vampires over humans, and hence be "evil" more or less, but not a cruel butcher. He'd be trying to protect purebloods and save his own kind.

I would rather not play a pureblood vampire because I don't feel I could play that role appropriate for a world I did not generate and am not co-gming etc.

Which character do you like best? I can get a CS up this weekend.

Mithias swayed from the effort exerted in slowing the massive clone ship, not to mention fighting against the strange psychic dampening power the Tyrannids were exerting (which I had totally forgotten about). Sebastian seemed caught up in his perplexion over whatever had just happened to his crystals, so he probably wasn't about to give Mithias a coherent answer. Clones were running around, putting out fires, hitting this and that button, and trying their best to work the ship's defenses or some such. Mithias looked about for anyone he could recognize, and then he found Klonos, the winged woman with horns.

Just as he was about to call out to her, a wave of unified voices rang in his mind once more, and he realized it was an endless hive of beings all acting coherently. They had so much power, yet were so simplistic in their choice of words. He felt them reach out, and he braced himself in anticipation, but their will had lashed out elsewhere. Quickly Mithias realized the unexpected and unprecedented level of attack they had wrought with their combined effort. They were throwing an entire planet at them.

"We're still falling!"

"No we're not!"

"Yes we are!"

There was a moment of confusion as the clones argued with their instruments. Certainly their systems were going haywire. But no. No. They weren't that fortunate.

Mithias staggered again, but this time in shock awe at the ungodly level of power these beings could wield.
With his new gifts, he could sense what was happening, and he knew it would take more telekinesis than he had left to muster to dodge this ship far and fast enough.

"Klonos! Sebastian! We've got to get out of here!" In a state of emergency, he desperately tried to round up his friends.

@Savato Nah it's fine. I'm disappointed that every one I attempt to interact with has suddenly vanished as soon as a post to them, but perhaps it is because they are waiting for the skip. Let's just get to skipping already. I have unbelievable amounts of stifled creativity I'm dying to explode all over you guys.

Good suggestion, but I would miss out on the opportunity of other people jumping in. I have decided that I will keep rping until said time skip happens. When it does, I will sum up and explain how my char arrived in the present.
