My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

Madison

"Thanks," she replied, taking his hand with a bleak smile. She got up off of the ground and met eyes with him before deciding to tell him the truth. "The thing is, one of my neighbor's mother passed away. He's the type of person that never takes no for an answer, and I've learned to keep my distance from him. Well, I was rude to him moments before he told me what had happened, and of course I instantly felt like trash. I mean, what are the odds, right?"

She remained quiet for a moment, picking up on the fact that this guy may not want to hear her sob story just as he's supposed to be on his way to meet his teacher.

"But I don't want to bore you to death with the current drama in my life. I'm Madison, by the way," she held out a hand to introduce herself, "And yes, it's my first time in this school. I come equipped with only the basic skills so I have a lot to learn in the upcoming years."

Madison snapped her fingers and a small, bright ball of fire appeared right above her palm, the wisp dancing into the air as it thinned out soon thereafter.

"Not very impressive, but I'm slowly progressing. I can do more, but who has the time now for show and tell," she added as she looked down the hall, wondering whether he wanted to go meet the others or was just stalling.

@Dark Light
So has the 3 post rule been lifted? I'd rather move on.
Would anyone like an interaction/scene with a fellow student?

I'm down since I don't know how long I'll have to wait.
Looks good. I'll post my character later when I get home.
Alright, I left my post open so that any teacher (or Headmaster, for that matter) may intervene if they wish. I'm just waiting on Sif so I had to stall.
Madison

Madison had to admit that the welcoming presentation was rather impressive. She couldn't help but stare in amazement as it was her first time witnessing numerous abilities being used as part of a performance. Unfortunately, her attention was cut short when her watch notified her of an incoming call. She saw that it was from Damon, her 16-year-old neighbor who was notoriously known for being nothing but a troublemaker.

What the hell does he want? she wondered, turning a bit anxious as she ignored the call. Not 5 seconds later he was calling her again. Madison decided to just let it ring, trying to instead focus on orientation. Once the students were dismissed to meet with their teachers, Madison snuck off down the hall to where it was a little bit more quiet and a lot more secluded. She dialled his number, Damon unsurprisingly picking up by the first ring.

"What do you want?" she greeted him in a rather harsh tone.

"Madison...my mother passed-" his voice broke, and she instantly felt a wave of regret. There was an awkward silence on the line for a moment before he spoke again, and Madison could tell from his voice that he had been crying for some time. "Is it okay if I talk to you for a minute? I don't-"

"Yeah, it's fine," she added, cutting him off and wanting to make up for how badly she had just treated him, "you can talk to me."

Madison made herself comfortable as she sat down on the ground and leaned against the wall. She realized that she would be a bit late to class, but she could make up a quick excuse for her being tardy. After all, there probably wasn't much to learn on their first day of class.
@Xandrya Sorry to keep you waiting, but I most likely won't be able to post as Elbritas until tomorrow as I'm up super early to get on a plane and then spending time with family.

I guess I can have her get distracted before going directly to the teachers. Thanks for the heads up.
Please, we're all sinners already. I'm definitely wrath (took a quiz, it's official).
Leila

Leila's patience was cut short before she and Nathan were able to reach the end of the alley. His demanding questions and unbalanced attitude were enough for her to decide that it was best to send him on his way.

"Okay, you're right...I'm dodging your questions, but it's only because I have something to do that I'd rather keep private..." She feigned a look of concern to solidify her lie, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to get rid of him that easily. "So, if you want, we can go see Dr. Chaddrick tomorrow. Let's meet at the diner for breakfast in the morning, okay? I have to go now, but I'll see you tomorrow."

She gave him a smile, then approached him to give him a goodbye hug. Leila placed the palm of her hand against the back of his neck. As she left it there for a couple of seconds, she implanted a memory in his head. Nathan now believed that he had to go see a friend of his in the Political Ring. She knew no serious harm would come to him, unless he was caught, of course. This "friend" of his doesn't really exist, but the memory would be long gone before he even makes it to his destination so she wasn't at all concerned. Giving him a quick wave, she took off in the opposite direction to go back home, glad to have finally gotten rid of him.
