My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

Aerial strike? Poor JJ is going to be so confused when she snaps out of it.
Madison

"No, it's okay, I..." she sighed, feeling rather foolish for her aggressive behavior in class. "I'd rather just let this heal on it's own, although I would gladly accept some form of ointment and a bandage to keep it covered." She looked down at her wound and agreed with the fact that she would deal with the slow recovery as a constant reminder to not lash out again, or make the attempt, at least.

"I'm Madison," she added, holding out her right hand to greet the shy young man. "Is Vlad okay? I must admit that I was the instigator in our fight, so I would be glad if you could show me the way to the headmaster's office after we take care of this arm."

Even though her words said otherwise, Madison obviously wasn't looking forward to meeting the headmaster under these circumstances, especially within the first few hours of class on her first day. Who knew what her parents would think of her, and she couldn't help but frown at the thought that her siblings wouldn't let her live it down. With those thoughts in mind, Madison's heart rate increased a little

"Shall we be on our way or do you have something else to do?" she asked him, not wanting to interrupt his plans, if any, as she already felt enough guilt about everything else.

Jennifer

Her questions went unanswered by the stranger, although after a few moments, it became obvious why he hadn't bothered with a reply. Instead, he reached out to her as a plea for help. Jennifer wasn't sure what was wrong with him; he hadn't been shot, not as far as she could tell, and he wasn't choked to death unlike his attacker who now laid dead a few feet away from him.

It was then that additional gunshots went off, making Jennifer nearly jump out of her skin. She froze in place as the group of Nates advanced on the men in suits, one of them falling back to her spot and helping out the nearly unconscious stranger by dropping him off next to her. Predictably, Nate suggested that it was Jennifer's fault they were stuck in this situation. She just shook her head at him with an I can kill you right now look before her attention went back to the man. She weighed the benefits and consequences of helping him, but the answer wasn't anywhere as clear as she would have liked. She wasn't sure why this particular ability was given to her, or if it came with the responsibility of using it to a certain extent. Jennifer cursed under her breath, looking at the man whose condition wasn't getting any better.

'You owe me," she said, not particularly addressing him but instead, using it as a motivator as she sighed in anticipation of what awaited her. Jennifer decided not to dwell on it when she pulled on his arm to hold his hand between hers.

For a moment or two, she thought that maybe the pain was his to suffer alone, but then it started to take effect. At first, the headache was mild and the dull pain was something she had experienced on numerous occasions before, but as she continued to hold on to his hand, the pain increased to the point where she felt as if something was attacking her from within her own head. Jennifer wanted to let go of him, badly, but she denied herself that option. She suffered in silence up until the point where her vision grew dark. Jennifer wasn't quite sure that she had intentionally released his hand as it could have very well been her own body protecting her from danger. She suppressed the urge to scream as she pressed her hands against her eyes, but she found no relief from her actions. She fell to her side when her body started to feel numb. Now she could no longer move as well as she wanted to, even though the pain didn't lessen any. Jennifer was terribly scared, the thought that she may die dancing around in her head along with the vicious pain that wouldn't leave her alone.
Madison

As she struggled against Vlad, Madison's attention was stolen when a rather large figure rushed towards the two students. She looked to the side and followed his movements, witnessing the heavy punch that could very well kill even the toughest of competitors if they were hit in the right spot. Madison sat up, the sudden wave of guilt hitting her like a thousand bricks. She absolutely hated this side of her, how the use of fire made her rage so uncontrollable, she might as well be a ticking bomb.

"I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. She glanced over at her teacher with an apologetic look and stormed out of the room. Once outside, Madison checked her burnt arm and couldn't help but flinch as her light touch caused her tremendous pain. With a worried look on her face, she began to pace back and forth in front of Mr. Kessinger's office. Madison felt anxious at this point as she wondered what repercussions awaited her. Even worse, she was worried about Vlad.
Yes, definitely interested.
Or kill each other lol

As a small note, Maddie didn't really use the sword against Vlad, but she contemplated it.
Madison

He was somewhat predictable. Madison smiled a little as she saw him get ready to launch a fireball at her. Even though it was a bigger size than she had originally anticipated, she was able to easily dodge it. What she wasn't prepared for was the second one, which caught her off guard. She tried to dodge his second attack as well, but it grazed her on her left shoulder and upper arm. The impact forced her to lose her balance and fall to the ground, her immediate reaction being to cry out in pain and slam her fist on the floor in frustration and anger. As she collected her thoughts, Madison saw a shiny object from the corner of her eyes. It was one of the weapons from the display that Vlad had knocked down when he was hit. Madison would have loved to use it against him, but she would be expelled from the academy, or worse...

"You're going to regret that," she finally said, lunging at Vlad to hopefully give him a nice scar on his face.

That's what she said...

Okay I'll stop.
@KuramaaaZ

I knew you looked familiar...

Madison

She slowly walked towards Vlad as if she weren't afraid of him, but she honestly felt a bit scared given that she didn't know how good of a fighter he really was. Madison knew she wasn't the type to look fierce. In fact, people always commented otherwise. Her hands were balled up fists up until the time she opened them and with that, flames appeared around them. It was then Vlad managed to got up, albeit looking bruised and battered. He proceeded to shout a half-assed threat at her, but Madison ignored it.

"What's the matter, Vlad? You look a little winded..." She gave him a smirk, stopping a few feet away from him and gauging his body movements for any sudden attacks as Madison readied herself to go on the defensive.
