My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

"Why is he reaching for his gun?" Jennifer nervously shifted her weight, causing a sharp pain from somewhere in her midsection to leave her nearly breathless. "Fuck...I don't think he's safe. I know he said for us to stay in the car, but we're sitting ducks here. Besides, I can't run away if I wanted to, not like this..."

She looked up at Vin, then to Jack sitting in the front seat who hadn't bothered to say a word either. "You two are unbelievable."

With much effort, Jennifer sat up and opened the backdoor of the vehicle. She shook off Vin's hand as he reached for her asking her to stay inside, but she wouldn't have it. She wasn't risking her life to save Nate, but she wasn't going to sit around and likely get shot by some stranger because he hadn't had enough cups of coffee for the day. Did she plan it through? Definitely not, but she couldn't think straight with the injuries she had, and her pain and anger had become a deadly mix at this point.

I'm a city girl and so is JJ; it wouldn't be natural.
Ha, busted.
Jennifer is NOT going native, you can try all you want.
"Are you looking for your keys?" Kelly asked despite knowing the obvious, speaking for the first time in hours and visibly startling the poor guy, "Because they're not in here. I noticed that the tattooed freak swiped them from right under your nose." Her voice remained low, with no trace of emotions detected yet coherent enough to be understood by the frightened orderly.

When Jimmy replied with a cowardly "oh", Kelly propped herself up on her elbows, raising an eyebrow in the process and pursing her lips as if she been forced to argue with a child. She could tell he was scared, probably fearing for his life, for even more unsettling was the fact that she was kind of enjoying his current state of anxiety. Kelly sat up, her feet playfully dangling off the bed.

Jimmy...Jimmy...Jimmy...

Something within her was giving Kelly the urge to lunge at the orderly, to shred him to pieces until only a bloody mass of guts and bones remained. But the rational side of her knew that was utterly and despicably wrong. More so, Kelly couldn't help but feel frightened and in somewhat of a state of vulnerability in light of these instinctual savage urges. But she wasn't like this prior to her sentence, before she was banished to this forsaken prison to die.

Jimmy must have sensed what was going on inside her head because he cowered into a corner just like she had not too long ago prior to her transfer.

"Oh, don't be scared," Kelly said with a wicked grin which suggested otherwise, hopping off the gurney before walking towards Jimmy with a limp to corner him against the wall, "I don't bite," she whispered in his ear, staying there for a moment before stepping back to stare into his eyes. "I just need your help getting me out of here...can you do that for me, Jimmy? Please?"

Great idea. Tagging 6 people in every post is a bit excessive.

My doctor has been trying to get me on that shit. How's it working out for you?

Well, it'll put you to sleep whether you like it or not. In the mean time, you may hear or see things as your creativity takes control from then on. After that it's smooth sailing provided you don't go on sleepwalker trips to the kitchen or something.
After quite the dry spell, I finally took an Ambien to help me sleep. Unfortunately for me, the ceiling fan is trying to kill me along with various objects in my room.
I vote in favor of the time skip to the next act.
I know I know, I tease.
