My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

Getting shot in paintball is nowhere near as bad as getting pepper sprayed in the face. Trust me, I know.
I'll work on getting a post up today.

I'm just glad Vin's ability isn't having whatever he dreams become reality.
@Rawk

Nah, I know you wouldn't be that reckless, but for a second there I was wondering what the hell was going on. When I loaded the page my eyes gravitated towards the word "scream" and all so that's why it caught me off guard.
@AcerRo

Vin's attack on JJ was all a dream, not rl.

I know, I thought the mf killed my girl too.
"Again!" Mr. Kessinger ordered.

Madison sighed, her tired eyes looking up at her teacher begging him to let her take a break, but she wouldn't tell him that, not when it made her look weak. Her messy hair was tied back in a ponytail but small strands had fallen around her face. Her body was overheating at this point, especially working with fire for this long.

"From the beginning?" she asked, hoping for an answer she knew she would never get. He simply nodded and she once more started her routine for him to evaluate and criticize whenever he deemed necessary. Madison turned away from Mr. Kessinger and took a few deep breaths. Without warning, she threw two fireballs into the air then pivoted on her right foot, making a downward slash motion with each of her arms to change their shape into something resembling a crescent moon. That same powerful force sent them flying into the intended target, or so she thought.

"STOP!"

Madison turned to look at Mr. Kessinger, then back at the targets.

Damn!

"Good job, you've managed to kill an innocent bystander," he said, adding insult to injury. Madison was tired, that much was true, but she was also borderline mad with today's lesson plans and how hard Mr. Kessinger was pushing her. She had been a good student, or so she hoped, and he was treating her like she was of the worst. That's how she felt, anyway.

"I-I'm tired! My body's sore, I'm sweating like crazy, and now I can't even concentrate! Please, can I just go and rest in the shade for 10 minutes? I just need some water..."

He remained silent, although he appeared to be contemplating her statement. "Sure, go ahead and take a break," he said after some time.

"Really? Thanks! I promise I--"

"If you want to die," he interrupted her.

"Excuse me?"

"Madison, out in the battlefield you won't get a break..."

"But-" she tried to get a few words in

"And the C.E.T.'s a few hours away. So quit complaining, focus on your target--and nothing but, and finish...this...routine. You've already shown me you can handle yourself doing everything else, so do it right this time and I'll let you go."
When they finally reached the safe house, Jennifer couldn't be anymore disappointed. She knew she wasn't in the big city anymore, but this was quite the stretch. For a person who's never even been camping, she would have a very difficult time for the remainder of their stay there, and who knew how long that would last. Everyone got off the truck, and Vin helped her get down so that her feet were safely on the ground with as minimal pain as possible. She thanked him as she slapped a mosquito on her neck. It seemed as though no one else was having the same issue. That, or they were used to it. Jennifer grabbed Vin's hand as they were led inside by Eric.

Once they walked through the front door, she eagerly made her way to the nearest couch. She sat down as Vin joined her, but she didn't say much. She was tired and hungry, and now itchy as well. But she wouldn't complain, not anymore. Instead, she leaned her head on Vin's shoulder and waited to see how they would be directed to settle for the night. She was a guest now, so the best she could was be respectful towards their host.
Kelly shook her head with a sigh, wondering whether the drugs they had pumped into her were legitimately making her go crazy. She was picking up faint traces of conversations she couldn't quite comprehend, that along with movements that seemed to be happening near her, although they were obviously out of her reach and therefore impossible for a regular person to detect. But there was a silver lining. Kelly had an access key and some scrubs that she would use to move around, hopefully undetected, until she could find an escape route. Once she was free, it was only a matter of time before the drugs wore off and she didn't hear the voices anymore. Or at least, that's what she hoped would happen.

With renewed hope, Kelly got out of her dirty gown and slipped on the fresh set of scrubs. She tucked the gown away in the vent the girl had used to get to her cell before using the keycard to unlock the door. And it worked. If there was one person she could trust in this place, that would Jimmy.

Kelly stuck her head outside, looking in both directions before tiptoeing outside. The walls outside looked just as bad as the ones in her cell, so she didn't feel too bad. The staff who worked in the hospital apparently hated being there as much as she did. One thing that caught her attention was the fact that everything seemed to come to life. The voices got a bit louder, along with random sounds which ranged from footsteps to fingernails scratching a wall, and she was able to notice extremely small details a normal person shouldn't, like the tiniest cracks in the ceiling maybe 20 or 30 feet away. Kelly used this to her advantage as she moved forward. Whenever the sounds of voices or footsteps became increasingly louder, she would duck into a utilities closet or any other resourceful space and she would stay there until it was safe to move out again. This strategy of hers got her pretty far, and she was sure she was near the reception area when she heard someone typing away.

How the hell do I get past them?

Kelly tried to come up with a way to get past the receptionist, but her best bet was to wait a bit more. A couple of minutes later though, she got the answer to her prayers. Kelly peeked through the glass in the door and saw the woman heading back through a small doorway. This was her chance. She used the access key to exit into the main reception area and dashed to the exit, slowing down only to push open one of the double doors before she was finally outside.

@Rawk
@AcerRo Say wot m8? You wanna fight?

@Rawk All these expectations people have for me... I'm trying to become trilingual though, so maybe it's my own fault.
Noted.

I need to buy a notebook for this.
I may post after Remipa. It's a friend's birthday and we're celebrating in a few hours so we'll see how many vices my body can handle before the end of the night.
