Appearance: Mellie always dresses for the occasion. She doesn't like to stand out from the crowd too much and that translates to her wardrobe as well.
Physical Abilities/Skills: Even though Mellie's not insanely addicted to the gym, she loves to run and can be pretty quick on her feet despite her short stature. She's also a good shot due to the simple fact that she would visit the shooting range on a regular basis with her father to de-stress. That, and she just seemed to have a natural talent for it, being asked a couple of times to join shooting competitions but not really getting further involved with it. Her main skill, though, is digging up information. She knows how to infiltrate nearly any program/security protocol in order to get what she needs. Online information is easily attainable by her, anything from overseas bank accounts to some mayor's next dentist appointment.
Personality: She's quiet at first until she eventually breaks out of her shell around people she's just met. She likes to joke around and be in good company, although she also enjoys spending her alone time every now and then. Mellie almost always has an opinion about everything and everyone, but she will rarely speak her mind unless she's asked.
Background: Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Mellie grew up as part of an average middle-class family. She is one of two children, her younger sister, Veronica, trailing her by a few years. The family didn't make the girls move around too much throughout their childhood, but they did get a chance to live in New York for a few years before eventually moving back to Washington. Growing up alongside technology, Mellie had the chance to learn a great deal about computers as the field continued to progress every day. During her high school years, Mellie didn't join the cheerleading squad, but instead, she chose to be in the computer club where some students saw her as being out of place. Despite the side comments of her peers, she remained in the club until her graduation, where she then went on to college after being accepted into a computer engineering program.
Being far away from her family was somewhat depressing for Mellie, but she also made some interesting friends her freshman year at the university. She met this one guy in particular, Jake, who taught her a great deal about programming and code, going as far as teaching her how to successfully breach various systems. Paired with the classes she was taking, it took Mellie around 4 to 5 years to gain the knowledge she has now. After receiving her graduate degree, Mellie moved to Vegas once she was offered a job. She lived a normal life for a while, but then word got out about her skills (from friends gossiping and whatnot), and she caught the attention of some very high-profile people in the area. Eventually, she quit her job after the continuous freelance opportunities which led her to make twice as much money as she was making before. A lot of the time she was asked to do menial tasks, but every now and then the work would get serious. As of lately, though, she's been getting more "dangerous" requests. Not too long ago she was asked to get rid of someone as quietly as possible. Her customer wasn't happy with the individual's identity just being tainted, but she wanted Mellie to get rid of them for good as well. After some reluctance, she obliged. Millie's smart enough to know how to get rid of a body and wipe out any traces of evidence, but she never knew she'd have to put those skills to work. She now carries a pistol and a silencer attachment with her everywhere she goes, primarily for her own protection, and she likes to maintain a low profile when she's out in the streets.
