My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

I'm sorry, anyone who has POLICE written across their ass will more than likely be laughed at. I know I wouldn't take them seriously. Where is this concept art even from?
Story of my life. Do what you need to do homie. If that plan somehow involves moving to Iceland, let me know.
Oh that's right, totally forgot about that. My bad.
After her brief work-out, Elizabeth remained lying down on the ground for a few minutes looking up at the ceiling. Her mind went off on its own tangent, revisiting memories of family members, friends, and past lovers. But no matter how much she longed to speak to any one of those people right there and then, she knew she was only setting herself up for disappointment. Sure it was nice to dream and hope of something better, but reality was usually cruel and unforgiving, and there was little one could do to stop it.

The negative thoughts festering in her mind manifested themselves by making Elizabeth physically ill. She once more fought the nausea that seemed to appear out of thin air. If she didn't know any better, she could have sworn she was pregnant. Back home, she would have made an appointment with her doctor as soon as possible, but here she only needed to go down to the infirmary to get some more pills, ironically enough the very same thing that made her sick to begin with.

Elizabeth figured she had enough time to make it down there to get her poison and return to her room before Josh was supposed to show up. Once she stepped outside, she didn't see him around so she headed down the hall as if she didn't have a care in the world. If putting up a facade didn't make her feel any better, then at least it would make others believe she was in a chipper mood.
So I'm guessing we're waiting on Acer to post?
"It's a date then," she added with a smile, getting off the bed to walk Nancy to the door. "But I gotta warn you, I play a mean game of blackjack if you ever feel like challenging me."

After she once more held the door open for Nancy and waved her goodbye, Elizabeth locked herself in her room again and began her daily exercise routine. Was she tired, moody, and nauseated? Absolutely, but those were just excuses in her mind. If she wasn't dying or throwing up, then she could afford to train, although there was a possibility that the latter may occur sooner rather than later due to the pills. But she did want to get her work-out out of the way before Josh showed up, whenever that was, if he would even bother.

Elizabeth started with push-ups, silently counting them until she would reach her desired number for the day, at which point she would move on to the next exercise.
Since there's a bit of conflict between the posts, I adjusted mine to indicate that it took place in the morning.
Some time after breakfast

"Hm, okay." Elizabeth took a couple of the jellybeans offered to her and looked them over before biting into the one that was a bright shade of green. She always enjoyed lemon-lime/citrus flavored candies, ever since childhood. "Not bad," she added before taking a sip of water. "And you can call me Liz, if you'd like. Trust me, I prefer it to being called Ms. Kelton 90% of the time. Everyone around here is so formal to each other, or rather, they do a good job of portraying it as such." Elizabeth then proceeded to eat the yellow jellybean with a smile on her face. Even if it was only for a few minutes, she was enjoying the company of someone who legitimately cared about her.

"So do you mind if I call you Nancy? I mean, when we're not surrounded by the white-beards."

Ha, and I just finished graduate school a couple of months back. I miss uni but not really.
"It's worse than normal, that much I know. But, I did only have like two bites of food and half a glass of orange juice for breakfast. I know, I did it to myself, but the appetite just wasn't there." As she spoke, Elizabeth held the door open for Nancy and motioned for her to step inside. She then remembered her angry outburst, and as soon as the nurse had walked through the door, she rushed to pick up the notebook and crayon from the otherwise spotless floor.

"With what little belongings we have, I consider this a mess," Elizabeth joked before putting both items away in her drawer. She then proceeded to sit on the bed, nodding to Nancy to do the same on the chair opposite to her if she so wished. "Oh, and by the way, I appreciate you going out of your way to look after me. Anyone else in your position would have probably told me to suck it up."
