Just to let ya'll know, I'll start working on a post after I wake up today. Been busy since six pm yesterday filling orders, still gotta whip up some frosting before I can die for the night.
Rika is my first pick for Sean, both because she has a defined goal and because she wants a Reciever who will devote themselves entirely to her, which Sean is quite ready to do. Also, the idea of Sean getting dragged around by Rika and calling her a midget when starts whacking him amuses me.
I'll work on a sheet and send it in PM as soon as I'm not distracted by the new Bloodborne DLC.
@Xeronoia ah Carrot Cake! That's a good one! Also kind of unrelated, but is your profile pic from Spider Dance?
What would y'all say your character's favorite dessert is? And would they have bought that from Trouv?
Sean: Rika, James, Jaylen, Shun, Rozmonda
Kagura: Mari, Lexi, Nobuhiko, Sakie, Sora
These are just my top five, though. I'd be willing to work with anyone if they can sell me on the roleplaying opportunities. Arranged in order to highest perceived compatibility to least, from left to right.
Due to the importance of compatibility, after graduating together, a Tuner-Receiver pair is intended to be permanent. They're intended to work together from then on. Since, well, they're compatible. It's hard enough building that kind of relationship the first time.
This is part of why I'm not really certain on RNG, and if I did do it it'd be a much more limited version of it.
The thing about 'coming to hate each other': the already paired characters will have already been together for the better part of a year at the least. Pretty much anything that's likely to happen will have, by sheer probability, already happened.
Oh, well, I'm fine with RNG. If anything, if the two paired characters come to hate each other enough, it might be worth it to RP that out ICly and have some crisis force them to collaborate better...or have them RP out looking for another pair willing to swap.
Well, the idea was just groping characters by personality, then using RNG from there to arrange them in pairs in order to pair up characters that seemed like they'd be entertaining and interesting together.
