Alexi Rayne

"You cannot touch what you cannot see darling."

The orphan girl with a black heat and a broken mind. Rayne is not just a pretty face, she is a force to be reckoned with. She walks lightly in the shadows and attacks when least expected. Be weary of her presence for she embraces death and you wouldn't want to be one of her "toys". Yet Rayne is a lonely one, who really just wants to disappear and hide from the evils of the world, ironically she can be a bringer of evil, if tempted.

Personality: Alexi tends to stay to herself, some would say she's often very depressed, others say she's emotionless with a cold heart. Both sides of the accusations are correct. Even though she seems very gloomy, Alexi is a nice girl once you get to know her, however, piss her off and you'd be digging your own grave. Speaking of graves, Alexi has taken an interest in the dead. She doesn't hate the living, she just frowns upon the flaws and twisted evilness of the world.

Rayne is diagnosed with Schizophrenia and depression, however she knows that her visions are not schizophrenia. She does not like sunlight, she often complains it's too bright, in truth the lights burn her eyes. Again, Alexi has taken an interest in death, anything dead or associated with death catches her eye and she thinks it's beautiful.

History: Alexi grew up in Flan, Sweden. She never known who her true parents were, the Orderly of the orphanage told her that we was left at the door step as an infant and she stayed in the orphanage since. During her time there she stayed in the darkness, becoming truly obsessed with it. This is when her so called "Schizophrenia" kicked in. She started to see the spirit world around her, encountering angels, demons, this his how she became interested in death.

Special Ability: Alexi can become nearly invisible within the darkness or shadows. Essentially, when Alexi steps within the shadows or any darkened area, she disappears. Yes she is still there, just not seen by the Human eye.

Imperfection: With shadow walking, Alexi is prone to be visible one more with light. (Sunlight, flash lights, ect.) Also in this form, light hurts Alexi, burning her skin. But if the amount of light is excessive it could cause extreme pain or even death.

Purgatory

Rayne started regaining her consciousness, slowly opening her eyes to see Thorn bandaging her wounds. She felt her face being caressed by a force unknown. "Jeff..." She mumbled weakly before giving a slight, painful smile at Thorn. "Thank you Thorn." She said with blood seeping from her lips. She then spotted Jeff in the distance. "You must be Jeff." She said, still unable to move her body.

In a new world, in a new galaxy is an Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts

Sir Marilyn chose to go along with Lady Violetta. "Well we do need to consider the fact she is a vampire mi'lady." He said taking another sip from his wine glass. "I think we should also send her kinsman Life to the nurse, he'd be pleased to see her." As they stepped into the dining room, Sir Marilyn paused. "Mi'lady, do you want me to retreive the necronomicon for you? I need to take down Shermie's memorial anyways." He asked, knowing Lady Violetta would have too much time on her hands and would most likely forget the memorial he had set up for the girl.

The Nightmare Carnival

Rayne had finally stepped into the carnival, clinching her Necronomicon close to her chest. She began to study her surroundings. Out of the coner of her eye, she noticed a dead Raven. Feeling sorry for the bird, Rayne opened her Necronomicon and chanted. "With death comes birth and with nature comes disaster. I choose to bend the will of the gods to bring back what has perished. The raven began to twitch. "A new life fills the corpse, let it fly once more, free to do as it pleases, also to do what I command. In the name of Dagon, place this creature under my dark veil." As Rayne closed the book, the reanimated Raven was standing before her, giving a squak before flying up and perching itself upon Rayne's shoulder.

Sir Marilyn was just outside of Lady Violetta's room. Surprisingly he had a cheerful smirk on his face. "Sleep well mi'lady?" he asked, taking a sip from his wine glass. "You should be pleased darling, I have good news for you." He gave a bow. "Come with me, this is someone you'll want to see." He turned and started making his way to the Nurse's wing.

In the Nurse's wing laid an unconscious, malnourished Shermie. She was alive but very very weak, and during the time of her disappearance, her looks changed slightly.

Sir Marilyn, now opening the door to where Shermie rested, looked back at Violetta. "one of our hounds found her unconscious,just outside of the forest on the school grounds. He approached Shermie and rubbed her cheek. "he poor girl looks like she hasn't ate in weeks, she is alive but very weak."

Purgatory

In her mind Rayne heard a voice. "Listen to my voice focus on it with all your might girl!" She attempts to focus hard on this voice. "Listen to my voice focus on it with all your might girl!" To help her focus, Rayne envisioned a room of darkness and a silhouette of a man in front of her, saying these words. Her her vision, Rayne reached out to the silhouette in hopes to live.

Purgatory

Rayne coughed up blood and turned to face Thorn. She smiled and placed her hand on Thorn's cheek, before passing out again. Rayne was still alive, but breathing became hard for her. Her clock was ticking away, her wounds would need to be treated quickly in order for her to sustain life. She was already assuming she was going to die. "His embrace is cold, yet welcoming." she said, now unconscious.

Special Ability: Two abilities. This first is Alexi can become nearly invisible within the darkness or shadows. The second, Being a Necromancer, Alexi can raise the dead and call upon the Necromanic gods when she is in need. Alexi is only powerful enough to reanimate one corpse, wetaher it's human, creature, animal, or even plant. The reanimation last until the corpse re-perishes.

Imperfection: With shadow walking, Alexi is prone to be visible one more with light. (Sunlight, flash lights, ect.) With Necromancy, it is a magic that is highly frowned upon. With any of the higher ups knowing that she is a Necromancer, they have the right to put her to death.

Purgatory

Rayne had suffered more shots than Thorn did, her blood began painting the floor as her life slowly began to fade. Rayne's skin had even grown pale, she smirked as she laid there hopeless. " Death loves to take the pretty ones. she mumbles, feeling very weak.

Purgatory

"Thorn!" Rayne shouts, moving back into the shadows, becoming invisible to the human eye, dragging Thorn with her as she did. She then held Thorn in her arms. "I Swear I'll kill them all. Rayne then stepped out of the shadows, taesing one of the guards in the unmentionables, as her victim fell Rayne grabbed his gun and aimed at the guards, firing away as they fired back. Rayne managed to kill a few of the guards, but their bullets struck her, sending her to the ground. Rayne then took Thorn's hand and she blacked out still breathing.
