He thought for a moment. "I never said we shouldn't trust jäger. I just said I wanted to see it with my own eyes before putting my life on the line for him. That's all. I'm sure we, the levi squad, could manage him." He said proudly.

Levi

Levi looked down the table to Angelo, a member of the scouts, but not the levi squad. "It isn't as though jäger hasn't been trained. He is a fully fledged soldier, that finished in the top 10 of his
Class. We cannot ignore that. It is also reported that in his titan form he took down large numbers of titans single handly. Jäger was eaten. According to his squad anyway. This makes him more prepared for any task than any of us Angelo."

He was glad that Sasha was kind. Even though he wasn't sure if she believed Shujin or not, she couldn't let him walk away. She was too kind and fair. The important thing he had remembered still rang in the back of his head, but now probably wasn't the best of times to bring it up. It would only cause upset to a seemingly calm situation.

Shujin

"That's not true Sasha!" He sat down in their booth and looked her straight in the eye. "Some of the fairy tail members from before the fall of magic are still alive, in hiding. I managed to get that from an old clerk in the council library a few years ago. Surely... surely..." He started to get excited, and stutter, before coming back down to earth. "If we can find one of them... i'm sure they'd know more, if not everything about our parents!" He had thought this through.

"You guys are really quick to believe in this Jager." He sighed. "This is humanity we are talking about. We would have to be sure that Eren wouldn't destroy us from within. Right?" He looked to Levi. "Lance corporal?" He asked with a questioning look.

Levi

"Bachus. You needn't worry. True, Eren Jager might be seen as a monster. He might be capable of ripping every single one of your spines out." He looked around the table. "But, Special precautions will be made, to ensure Jager doesn't ever jeopardise humanity. The moment that changes, it will be my responsibility to kill Eren along side you soldiers." He straightened his neck piece. "We can kill Jager, no question... Now that is out of the way, what say you Bachus?" He raised his voice slightly, as to question his allegiance. Bachus slammed his fists into the table and nodded. "Good. Let it be known. If any information you learn within these walls is released, you will be fed to the test subject titans we captured." He was stone cold, leaving the floor open for anyone else who wished to say anything.

"Being lonely has nothing to do with the number of people around you Sasha. I joined this guild a few years before you. You didn't speak to me for your first 6 months. You know what I saw? I saw a scared little girl. But now? I see a strong I dependant wizard, who is kind and fair." He smiled. "Sometimes, you need to give someone the benefit of the doubt." He guessed he could empathise with that, given his personality.

Shujin

He stopped in his tracks and turned his head, removing his good once more. Smiling he came back. "I just think it would be nice.... To just talk, and share anything we have about each other." He Sighed softly. "I looked for years, but I found little about our parents. Even looking into fairy tail as a child didn't give me anything." He was quiet still.

Levi

It was dark, the room only lit by candles. Levi sat at the head of one end of the table, Erwin at the other. This meeting was for the very select and trusted few. Only Levi's hand picked soldiers and the most trusted scouts were given a seat. Erwin nodded to Levi, giving him the floor. Levi leant forward. "Eren jäger." He paused as the room went ice cold. "That is what we are here to discuss. You all may know that we have been given access to his powers for one expedition. For those of you that do not know, he could be the key to humanities survival, or it's destruction." He allowed that to sink in. "I don't know whether or not to lay my life down for jäger, but that is my job. However, it isn't any of yours yet." He sighed. "Are you willing to give your lives for eren jäger? If it is a choice between his or your lives, who would you choose?" He left it at that, and looked up and down the table.

Bachus

He rubbed his knuckles, but was the first to speak. "So much death, in everything. What is wrong with everyone surviving for a change?..." He paused. "Corporal, we arrived in the aftermath of the battle for trost. I don't know if I could give myself for this cause, without seeing him become a titan with my own eyes. Once that fact is apparent, I would choose his life." He leant back in his chair, and was silent.
