I didn't even know Life is Strange had a prequel before Fabricant mentioned it. Going to have to pull some money out of somewhere.

@Fabricant, I think I understand what you're saying, but it still made no sense.

"It extends to all nuts, but not peanuts," Aaron said. However, he was more worried about that fire that was happening.
I'm still here, waiting for something to happen.

Rowan didn't understand what could be so emotional about an onion, that it moved someone to tears. Still there were more things for him to learn. Then he listened to what she said, and he followed her instructions, carrying them out as well as he could.

Shaved ice wasn't something Aaron had actually ever had. He even anticipated eating it a little, and that emotion felt a little too odd for him, so he buried it. Even with his year homeless, he was not too knowledgeable about cooking. Hopefully he could be of help, and it would be a deep shame if he wasn't. Then there was his allergies, which unlike the others he did possess. Aaron was unfortunately going to be a pain for the rest of them.

"I am allergic to nuts and garlic, but I don't think it will interrupt anything now," Aaron said. "I apologize for any inconveniences on my part."

He eyes turned back, whatever reason he was unsure of, but then he saw something. There was the new girl, and there were flames abound.

"Something's happening back there," Aaron said.

He was indeed rich. He was rich beyond the greatest of mortal treasures. Now, he did some menial task, surviving by doing normal human tasks. He washed the tomato under water. Now that was a thing! What was this that could conjure up water? Another of humanity's great feats of science? But that was no matter of importance. Ruomahl washed the tomato, then he sliced the two extreme of the tomato. He apparently was supposed to make thin slices. He did so, and while he wasn't perfect at it, he seemed to be learning well.

Rowan put down that "laptop" on the table. Then he took those ingredients that she had given him. They were apparently basic things, and Rowan had seen cheese like it before, but he did not know what was supposed to be denoted by Swiss. He put them on the counter. He had never cooked before.

"I've never cooked before," Rowan said.

Thankfully she had taken in the normal parts and spit out the rest. Yet she was still spewing forth this impenetrable volley of jargon. Ice cream, and it shakes, fries, cheeseburgers, and stoves that run on something called "gas". Is this also like that magic, oh - it's not magic, substance that is everywhere.

He took this laptop with him. He tugged it under the pit of his arm, holding it up with his arm and gripping it with his fingers. He walked alongside Bessie awkwardly, not quite matching her pace.

"And I'm Aaron," Aaron said. "I hope what I'm doing is alright. I hope I can help."

Rowan next question ought to be what exactly she meant by an all-permeating substance. Did she mean it was something like Aether, a higher substance that formed creation? What did this have to do with magical mailboxes? That question couldn't come, though, because she was getting mighty suspect. Best to change the subject entirely, and forget any of this ever happened, and find out more about this crap from some dusty tome.

"Oh...uh...Let's get to making that, then," Ruomahl. "You can never make enough food. Now, there was a story about a friend of mine, who would always be in the kitchen when she was a girl. When she got over, it was a great dream of hers to become a chef, so she still was always in the kitchen. One day I was to test a bit of her food, as a friend, but there also was a man there who we did not know. Now, for some reason or another, reasons, this wasn't a shock. Whatever, whatever. He tasted her food, and it was delicious, and he wanted to have her as her cook. Can you believe that? I did, which is precisely why I didn't. Well, I didn't like that he thought it proper to leave me, me, in the dust, so I showed him when I punched him in the face, and I never saw that fool again. Good riddance, trying to steal my chef."

It was only afterwards that Rowan realized that while this technically changed the subject, it was unlikely to help him in any way whatsoever. By that, he meant it would hurt him in every way.

"And then what does electric mean?" Rowan said. There were so many things to be asked in this world. "And is it time to eat already?"
