Destroying the place would be tactless... I know where you're coming from. If we just remove the source of the pain then it'd be fine. But I think this person just wants recognition... Someone to remember... Someone to piece together the story... Someone to make this place a home again. Otherwise, it'd tell us to just level this place. But that's just my conjecture.
