Current And maybe most people don't like getting a single line back in response to a few paragraphs? Like whatever floats your boat, but there's a reason Free exists.

Hey now, he's becoming self-aware. Don't take that from him.

If the man's is asking for a ban, might as well give it to him. Good riddance.

Then you'd just be crying about why it's permanent instead.

More males you say? Suppose I could throw one up for Gryphes, pity the lieutenant spot is already taken though.
@OoTrillionoO
Not like anything's been happening anyways.
Though the urge to sigh in relief was immense, Adam held it in check for appearance’s sake. Confidence could do wonders for morale and hope, both of which would probably be precious in the coming days. The light faded quickly enough to a softer glow that he no longer had to squint and besides a small nose bleed, Rae didn’t seem any worse off for the incident. Maybe a bit shaken up by the experience, but nonetheless undaunted and willing to press on. “Good to hear, come on, let’s get going.” A hand was offered just in case she felt a bit unsteady, but if she refused to take it then Adam would continue on.

“No idea, no time to find out,” he remarked towards Rika as the lamia slid closer; damn was it an odd sight to see. “And yes, lets.” It was good to see that the others seemed to be taking all this in stride and fairly well. Hopefully the five of them would be able to make a good pace without incident for a while, though frankly Adam wasn’t too optimistic; things had already gone plenty wrong with this whole world swap in the first place.

Just waiting to see if @WeepingLiberty is going to make a post, if not I'll do so.
Well, it seemed he’d have company for the journey ahead; a bit comforting, but Adam hoped he wouldn’t have to coddle any of them. Things were looking to be difficult enough already… As he glanced back at the elf who busied with some of the grass that surrounded them, he couldn’t help but shake his head. “If this is anything like the grass back home, the human stomach ain’t meant to process it. We might feel full, but we aren’t going to be getting anything from it.” Just one of the pieces of useful knowledge he’d retained from survival class, but he didn't want to simply disagree with someone who'd be his travel companion for the forseeable future.

“Likewise. Let’s make the best of our time together,” he replied with a curt nod of his head before facing forward once more. Bit more friendly than he was to most strangers, but then again the situation was rather extraordinary.

He slowed down slightly as Marcus called out from behind, but didn’t quite come to a halt. What did bring him to a complete stop was the unnatural light he saw from behind the other male as Marcus ran up. Hunched over, with a crimson glow from the marking on her forehead, Rae looked like she could hardly move. Running a hand through his hair he grit his teeth and muttered, “Fucking great…” Probably unnecessary to curse, but it about summed up his current thoughts of the situation. For all he knew, Rae was about to flip out and transform into some giant fox; they were generally supposed to be tricksters and shapeshifters in most myths right?

“You two, stay here please.” Despite the urge to bark orders, Adam knew the three of them didn’t have the relation required for that to be effective; hell he’d probably just alienate Nova and Marcus if that was the case. “We don’t need all three of us in possible danger.” And while he couldn’t be sure of what was happening with Rae, none of them probably did, the ominous feeling that washed over him with the red glow set alarm bells off in his head.

“Please,” he muttered once more towards the two before he ran back towards the girl. It only took a few seconds, but by the time he was close enough to almost touch Rae he couldn’t even keep his eyes fully open thanks to the red light. “Rae! Look at me!” With no idea exactly what the problem was, he had to grab her attention first, hopefully distract her from the cause of this. If worst came to worst he wasn’t above simply trying to subdue the girl, but for several reasons that wasn’t exactly the most preferable of options.

Blarg, what's up, probably going to drop in on this.
Cool, I suppose you want to get a post for Marcus up, so I'll wait for that before making one for Adam.
@PKMNB0Y Just wondering if it's fine for the players to split up into separate groups, though by the looks of it that's already happening. Not sure if you're fine with directing a group Marcus may not be involved with though.
>raw meat off random corpse
>good to have in stomach

Ok, lol.
The sight of the older man actually eating a slice of raw and possibly rotting meat was enough for Adam to make an expression of disgust. How that seemed like a good idea was beyond him and the notion was quickly dismissed. Instead he turned to glance at the elf that had approached and raised an eyebrow at her comment. “Doubt it, even if they’ve got better ears like you apparently. Voices don’t travel th-”

Stumbling a bit in surprise as something bumped into Marcus beside him, he spun around as he planted a foot behind to steady himself and blinked a few times in surprise. This… was probably the most dramatic change out of the six that had gathered. He spared a moment to glance towards the elf at her remark, but anything more would have been pointless.

Straightening out his posture, Adam took a few steps away from the lamia, or whatever, just to be safe from her tail. The mass of muscle would probably have no problem sweeping his legs out from underneath him even if it was purely on accident. As for Marcus’ suggestion, it wasn’t like there was any other real choice for the six of them. Surviving out here would be damn impossible even if one of them had somehow scrounged up a corpse of questionable quality. “It’s not like we have a choice, we aren’t going to last long here. Assuming the sun still rises from the east and sets in the west,” he gestured at the rising sun to his back, “that’s probably the direction I’ll be going in. If any of you want to follow along, feel free to. Name’s Adam once more, for those that missed the first two times.”

He spared a moment to readjust the clothes he'd been left in this world with, tightening his boots and undoing the leather jerkin so as to hold it instead. While it wasn't terribly hot yet, the additional layer would probably be problematic once the sun really started to heat things up. He figured that was long enough for the others to decide if they wanted to follow along, so Adam turned around and marched off at a brisk pace without another word. There was nought but grass until the horizon and no telling how far the plains would extend past them; every minute was precious until a water source could be found.
