*It has been about two weeks since you discovered your powers*

A field stretched out in front of you, everything is quiet, peaceful, and breathetaking. As you wander you can see the faint out line of the earth and moon above you. They look beautiful from here. Wait, what?

"Don't be afraid." A silky voice coos from the darkness.
"w-who are you?"
The voice laughs from behind. Her honey laugh seeps into your bones, and drowns your fears. "I am Mother Earth." She states. A woman appears infront of you, forming into existence from thin air. Her hair is light sunlight, and actually covers her in a faint glow. Her skin is dark like the dirt near her bare feet, and she is wrapped in flowers and branches that seem to be growing from her skin. "I sent you a gift, My guardian." She says and instantly you think of your powers, your other form. "Yes, thats the gift." She looks into your eyes and you notice that the her eyes looked just like the earth, and clouds seemed to move around them. "I have come to warn you about a great evil that hunts you. Alone you are too weak to face it. Find the other guardians and unite together." She placed her hand on yours. "There are twelve of you all together. When you are near another guardian, this will glow." As she spoke she removed her hand and a faint outline of your Zodiac symble remained. "I must leave now my guardian, but i will return one day."

Sen jolted out of bed, her heart beating rhythmically. She flung back her covers and swung her legs over her mattress, her bare feet landing on her plush white carpet. Her dream wasn't scary, so she shouldn't be this nervous. She sigh and stood up. Her feet heavy as she trudged to the bathroom. It just seemed so real, and her powers...She shook her head. Her powers were a mystery, however that does not mean mother nature gave them too her. The sound of rushing water her snapped her from her thoughts as she switched the faucet on. The icy water slide past her palms, pooling in her cupped hands before splashing against her face. She rubbed her eyes and slid her hands down her checks. She was going nuts. The powers, the strange dreams she had been having. Sen glanced at the mirror in front of her before freezing in her tracks. Even in the dim light of the bathroom, she could see it. The mark curving an the backside of her right hand. Her breathe caught in her lungs as she felt the world spot around her.
"A great evil is hunting you.." The voice whispered in her head. Sen turned and bolted to her room, she pulled on a dark bue hoody and a skirt that she didn't even bother to check if it matched, she didn't care at the moment. She threw her old bookbag on her bed and crammed various essentials within it. Her boots barely made a noise as she slipped down her steps into the living room. She left a note on the door for her parents.
"I have gone to find the guardians."
With that she entered the cold dark, midnight air. She took a deep breathe and closed the door behind her.

Soul woke up Inside his Cave near the river. the cave ceiling drips down with cold icy water "i really need a proper roof over my head" Soul said Forgetting most of the dream already. he slumped out of the sandy gravel his clothing in tatters. "still better then that hellhole i was originally in" He Sighed as he moved towards the opening of his cavern
the night air was dark and cold but refreshing. his eyes saw a girl moving alone at night down her pathway. he shrugged as he rummaged through his food...

Chris woke up from a strange dream and jumped out of his bed.He put on a t-shirt and a pair of jeans.The boy went down the stairs until stumbling upon his father."Where do you think you're going?"His father asked."I'm just going for a walk."He said hoping that they would believe him.His father sighed,"Just be back in a few minutes.""Alright."He said promising him even though he'll probably be gone longer than that and exited out the door.

Alan woke up. At midnight.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Fuckin' hell, what did this? Alan doesn't get up this time, unless he was doing some serious college work. It wasn't right. He wasn't an early bird at all, and he usually only got up because of his alarm clock. Wait. The alarm clock. It hasn't gone off yet. So, why did he wake up? He didn't hear the BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP sound that always happened when the alarm went off. That was eardrum-breaking.

He yawned. Apparently he was still on Earth. Not on whatever planet the dream had him on. So it was simply a dream. Good. Now, he didn't have to be as worried. It was weird, though. The fact that he could think and speak every language known to man. That was weird. But, Alan was wide awake now. Nothing he could do about that.

He didn't have sleeping pills, anyways.

He was fully awake, and he rolled out of his bed as well. He stood up, and looked around the room. In front of him was his computer. Next to that was the TV. And the bed was behind him. Such a simple room.

The thought came to him, 'A great evil is hunting you...'

What.

He walked over to his closet and sighed. Maybe he should get some fresh air. Maybe walk out, a friend or two would be up. Or run from the great evil, and try to find someone that his marking glowed around. Was that good? Most likely. He just got out of his pajamas, and got in some outside clothes. A hoodie. Some jeans. The simply clothing that he always wore.

Wait. He forgot something.

He grabbed his notebook and ripped out a paper. Then, he got a pen.

He left that on his bed, and walked out of the room casually. He slowly opened the door, and...walked out. He quickly closed it, and left his keys on the steps. Hooray. It was cold as shit. He walked to the left of him, down the dark streets of....whatever, notebook and pen in hand.

Maybe it wouldn't be bad.

Or maybe he wouldn't have any inspiration to write, and just wanted to get this started.

Jeffery woke up suddenly as if from a bad dream, but no it was a good dream. He finally understands where these powers came from and why he gained them. He was on a quest now, he had to find these other 'guardians' as they're called. He absolutely believed the dream, except he saw it as more of a vision than anything. "So," he asked himself, "should I just wander off in midnight in search of these people?" "Why not," he answered, again talking to himself. He grabbed his fathers old hunting knife, which his father gave him for his seventeenth birthday, for protection without his powers, and set off into the night.

Lolli woke up, "Well, Woop-Di-Fucking-Doo. I guess I'm going to start having to look for some other victims, I mean people, or face death," She grumbled. Her sibling were still asleep. She quickly wrote them a note explaining that she was going on a trip and that Amanda, the oldest, was I charge. It also old the location of Lolli's savings that she saved up in order to help her siblings. Lolli grabbed the rest of her money, hastily putting it into her wallet, and grabbed her favorite black trench coat, black biker gloves, and some food, wich she put in a bag that she was going to bring with her. And with that Lolli left her home.

Sen strolled down the sidewalk, the cold breeze nipping at her bare legs. She regreted grabbing her short skirt instead of decent pants at this moment. A shiver rand down her spine, but she trudged on, pulling her hoodie over her hair. She glanced around, eyes scanning the darkness when she realized that she had know idea where she was going. With a deep sigh she slide to the ground, back propped against a tall wooden fence. "Now what do I do?" She mumbled to her self. Her eyes wandered to the mark on her hand. A warm golden glow burst from her hand. "W--what?" She said aloud, her eyes flew open.

During the start of his journey he sees a girl with a short skirt and a hoodie, but as soon as he sees her he realizes his hand had started to glow. "Hey! You, over there! Hey!" He yells to get her attention as he walks over, but while walking he realizes her hand is glowing also and he smiles, knowing he found another guardian.

Sen jumped a bit, startled by the sudden burst of noise. Her hand over her chest she turned to glance at the boy. "Oh. You startled me.." She said a bit suspiciously. 'What could he want?' She thought to herself. Her eyes drifted to his hand, a glow resonating from it. "Wait." She said putting two and two together. "...are...you....?" Maybe she shouldn't say it. She looked around the cool night air. It could be dangerous to speak about in fact he could be one of those evil things. Couldn't be, he had the mark. She held up her glowing hand then she gestured to the mark. "Are you....like me?"

"Of course," he said holding his hand up showing the symbol of Libra a little more obviously. "I thought I was gonna have to search for days to find someone else like me, who knew one was sitting a few blocks from my house." After he says this he realizes that he has a bag and all he has are the clothes he's wearing and a knife in his pocket. "Damn I forgot to bring supplies in my haste," he realizes that's not all he forgot. "I forgot to leave a note for my parents!"

Eve peeled her face off of a text book and quickly wiped the excess drool with the back of her hand. She shook her head and glanced down at her hand where her zodiac sign had been glowing just moments before in a dream. Now, there was nothing there, just skin. She shook her head, curls flopping every which way and looked up at her friend, still studiously cramming. Eve got up from the floor and several blankets and straightened her sweater. Her parents weren't expecting her home, but more like her? Twelve of them? She picked her boots off the ground and zipped them on. Her friend looked up, "I'm just going to get some air. I need to wake up if I want to get back to," she gestured at the notecards, textbooks, and scattered papers, "this." She grabbed her coat off a chair as she headed out of her friends house and onto the dimly lit street. Looking both ways, she decided to head towards the park in the neighborhood because at least it was an objective and the swings sounded especially inviting. She slipped her coat over her shoulders in one graceful shrug and started off down the street, humming quietly to herself.

Alan saw a girl in a trenchcoat, looking like a biker, near the start of his journey. The girl looked like she was either gloomy or...gloomy, actually. I mean, who else would wear a stupid trench coat in public? A person who had either no shame because they were bullied or was incredibly brave. And usually, it was no shame. Jokes aside, Alan went up to the girl with biker clothing and tapped the back of her shoulder. "Hi trenchcoat-" The zodiac sign glowed. Did that mean-nah.

Lolli looked at Alan. The zodiac sign in her hand glowed. The glow was muffled by her gloves. So he was one too, that was great, not! Lolli thought. " My name is Lolli not trenchcoat." She told Alan.

Sen stood up and swung her backpack over her shoulder. "Do you want to go leave one?" She asked. There was no way she was going to leave this new guardian. What are the odds that she would find another one so easily. "I'm Sen by the way." She stretched out a hand and offered a warm smile. "Did you have the dream too?" She asked her mind wandered back to the 'evil'. A shiver ran down her spine just thinking that someone might be out to get her.

Lolli looked at Alan. The zodiac sign in her hand glowed. The glow was muffled by her gloves. Lolli thought. " My name is Lolli not trenchcoat." She told Alan.

"Hello, Lolli. You need to stop wearing trenchcoats, or else people will call you trenchcoat," Alan said, monotone voice turned to high and with the straightest face that he could have, showing almost no emotion. "Why are you here, anyways?" Alan asked, trying to start a conversation without talking about the glowing hand-thing.

Jeffery reaches his hand out and shakes hers, "I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Jeffery nice to meet you," he says returning the smile. "I had the same dream too and unfortunately I can't very well sneak back in there without getting caught, and if I get caught I'm done for. Better to be off without a word then not go on this quest at all, I'll probably send them an e-mail from a library computer or something, at least I have my wallet and," checks his wallet real quick, "fifty bucks."

Sen thought for a second before unzipping her bag. She wasn't entirely sure what she had packed in her haste. It appears that in her haste she had grabbed a change of clothes, a stuffed mouse which she had no idea why she would pack, a stick of gum which was probably left there from when she last used he backpack, a flashlight, a few packages of food, and her wallet. She pulled out her wallet and thumbed threw some bills. "I can add $20 and ... 75 cents." She snapped her wallet and shoved it into her hoodie pocket. Then she shoved her hand back into the pack to snag the flashlight when she thought of something. She quickly unzipped a side pocket and pulled out a small purple flip phone. She glanced at the front screen to she her battery blinking on the final red marker. She offered it to Jeffrey "The battery's low put you can send your parents a quick message."

Eve sighed and stuffed her hands into her lightweight coat. Now that she wasn't groggy, the dream started to come back to her in bits and pieces. She had to find more of these people and figure out what was going on. The dream had mentioned powers and that made her wonder about the other day, she was thinking about calling her father and without pulling out her cell phone she heard her father's voice go "Hello?" After spinning around several times and finding no one around her, she was left to wonder what had just happened. Now, realizing that powers were involved in this mess, maybe this was part of it. Communicating with people without calling? It was nonsense. Looking up ahead she saw two figures on the sidewalk. Looking at them, concentrating she tried to send a message, "Hey!" she shouted in her mind. She wasn't sure how loud she had to be to send a message, but maybe it would go through. If it did, that was reassuring evidence that this was real.

"Wow, really? Thank you so much I'll do that real quick," Jeffery accepts the offer of using her phone telling his parents he'll be gone for a while on a quest they will find absurd. "Done not sure what they will think about this quest though, and thanks for letting me use your phone I would use mine but I don't have one. My parents forbid me saying I didn't have their complete trust even though I did nothing. I shouldn't just ramble on like this, it's very nice to meet you Sen. Do you have any idea where we should head next, as you can see I didn't think this through very well."

"I think there is a store nearby." She said looking down the road. "It's just around the block. It stays open 24 hours so we can pick up some supplies. And I think they have pay by the minute phones or whatever they are called. We can get you one in cause we are ever separated. That way we can find each other." She hoped she did not sound to creepy by saying that. "Hey" A voice called from inside her head. She paused and looked around, fear gripping over her. That could have been one of the 'evil' things that were after them.
