As they headed out of the town, Arria made certain to stay close to Havarr, if only so he wouldn’t have to chase her around, as she knew he would not leave her side. Though new to her, he seemed unshakably loyal, more so than many of the men that had been at her side for many months, years even. For all that loyalty, though, it seemed he could not yet grasp her thoughts without further explanation. He would need more time for that.

“I did not suggest we try to stop them by fighting them all ourselves,” she corrected gently, well aware that by fight them ourselves she was implying only the others in the party. “What I am suggesting is that this plague may not be a threat that can be solved by armies. Perhaps precision is needed, instead of brute force. A wound is stitched with needle and thread; it isn’t beaten with a hammer.” Beneath the white hood, her eyes constantly moved back and forth, looking for any threat. Surely nowhere was safe that these undead had been.

“Raising armies against them could very well do nothing but swell their ranks. It is my belief that a small number may be able to achieve more good, and draw less attention to themselves, than thousands of armored soldiers. If last night’s battle proved anything, it is that fighting this evil directly will bring only death.” Just then the beast returned, warning them of the potential danger beneath their feet. Arria nodded gravely. "Thank you for the warning."

She turned to the Templar at her side. “Perhaps you should lead, Havarr,” she suggested quietly. “I’ll be right behind you.” She did not imagine seeing the dead bursting forth from the ground would be a pleasant sight, but she had seen enough of them by now that she did not think she would be rendered sick by the sight of more. They walked in a somewhat uncomfortable silence for a time. There was much tension within the group, obviously, something Arria found moderately displeasing.

“If we’re going to be traveling together, we should at least know each other’s names,” she suggested to the group. “I am Sister Arria Valencia. I hail from the Capital, though I have traveled much of the Kingdom in the past few years, to better spread the Gift bestowed upon me by the Goddess.” She didn't exactly anticipate her words sparking a lively discussion, but it was better than nothing to relieve some of the tension when walking through this horrid landscape.

Reza silently complied and began to lead the way ahead, "I am Reza Kelm, I know Vicar here knows me, somewhat personally, I'm not all that bad though." Reza announced flippantly to the sister and the rest of the group. sure enough there was a large boulder protruding from the ground. The surrounding area appeared to be the same and his hideout's entrance didn't appear to have been breached. He looked back at the group, and to the beast who informed him of the undead underground. "I should highly doubt they're in my hideout, at least in my section anyway." Reza said arrogantly, he produced a small cylindrical piece of iron with a few notches on the bottom from his person and moved some small stones and grass out of the way"But uh... There is a series of old tunnels going through it, I've blocked them all of as they've collapsed, or just turn into dead ends" He said somewhat cautiously as he prodded the ground with his empty hand.

He finally found what he was looking for and stuck the bit of metal in a small hole in the ground, he turned the metal carefully and slowly, listening until an almost inaudible clicking of metal occurred, Reza switched his position and pulled up at the metal revealing that the metal acts as the key and the handle to his hideout. "Hold on." Reza said as he slinked into the hole, it was silent for a few seconds and if one were to look into the hole it would have been pitch black. Suddenly a soft orange light came from somewhere in the back of the hole, Reza popped up with a lantern in hand. He looked around for a moment making sure everyone was still there. "Come on then, I'm alive aren't I?" Reza said ushering the group into his pseudo-home. Reza went on ahead and began to look through his things, there were a few jars of vegetables, mostly pickled, some slabs of various meat kept in salt and other assorted goods meant to last.

Reza set the lantern down on a small table that was placed by a single chair, and in a corner was a dusty old cot. It was clear this place was meant to house one person but there was juat enough room for people to move about, albeit limited. The most notable factor of Reza's hideout was the various things he had stolen and not sold, undoubtly the group would recognize a few relics of the town here and there.

Havarr was about to say something to Arria about him leading, but at that point they made it the strange mans hide out. Inside were things covered in dust and food that was made to last. He studied some of things even though he had no idea what they were as he had not studied the town as extensively as his other brothers simply because he did not need to worry about protecting the town only Arria. But all of the items were a dead give away that this man was a thief.

As much as Havarr wanted to confront him and run him through he doubted that there would be space to swing his sword here and he was more worried about Arria. "I guess i will go after M'lady, I am Havarr, if you haven't figured it out yet I am her templar, her sword and shield." He said so the group could hear him, he took off his cloak and straightened it out so Arria could sit on it "Go ahead and sit down M'lady." He said gesturing to his cloak with his free hand.

As much as Havarr hated the thief he had to admit it was a pretty good hide out, it was out of the way and hidden but he was afraid the longer they waited here the less likely they were to find clues about who and what started this. But he didn't voice this concern instead he stood silently next his sister studying the hide out and where they entered from. He doubted it would be safe for long anyways if those things could go through the ground then they might as well start killing themselves off. "Say do you have a sharpening stone here?" He asked the thief.

The beast continued to follow but his sharp blue gaze glanced toward the woman who had suggested everyone gave their names. Since she had already over heard his skill of speech , it would probably be rude not to give a name. Though he did not feel so keen nor will to do so. Then again, it was better than being refered as 'beast' all the time he supposed.

"Samir." The black feline like creature said but gave no more information of who he was unlike the rest. There wasn't much to say though, since he didn't exactly have a occupation like these humans do. He didn't really feel like giving up information of where he is from or what he was exactly doing before he was captured. Fur prickling a little as his ears perked when his sharp senses picked up the sound of distant groaning.

Pausing as he stared at the entrance of the thief's hideout, he waited for the humans to enter first before slowly slinking inside as well. In the room, he sat down on his haunches near the entrance, tail flicking from side to side. Samir was not much of a underground animal, especially when it was among humans.

"We shouldn't stay too long." The beast stated.
