I would never want to be a teenager again. Although, they do have all that 'hopes and dreams' crap that hasn't been stomped out yet by life. But, yeah, fuck that angst, I don't miss that shit.

I actually don't ever complain about loud babies, because I know it's impossible to do anything about it and I have fucking sympathy for the mothers trying to cope. But that's also a really, really shitty analogy. The main criticism stems from the blind lack of empathy, understanding, or desire to help others going through struggles one has literally just gone through. Your scenario is nothing to do with that empathetic, emotional connection; it's about an external, temporary annoyance. Even if that weren't true, it's also pretty understandable that someone cannot relate to a baby, whereas you would expect a degree of understanding for people in a situation you're barely even out of yourself.
In other words, Goddamn you're stupid, son.

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, yeah I agree that the OP's being a hypocrite. But I do disagree with the notion that he should take the time to "teach" his peers. Most teenagers aren't exactly interested in learning anything. Instead, they direct most of their energies towards fucking each other.
