Quick post up. Not thrilled that we can't center the banners right now, but it is what it is. I did talk to Mahz and he is working on getting BB code back into the site, which will address a lot of the issues that we're having. Not a perfect system yet, but it's getting better.

Sorry for not being on for the last few days, my computer seemed to refuse to connect. Anyway, I was thinking of adding a "Walking the Line" Character to act as Redbacks main antagonist. When I say "Walking the Line" I mean that he is a being that does the wrong thing for the right reasons. Essentially, like Redback, he kills people to make the world better. However, whereas Redback protects and kills for long term success, allowing monsters to live to teach the world a lesson that ultimately makes the world better. Kestrel kills bad people regardless of the long-term effects. Which is why he and Redback are constantly at odds. Kestrel is a former Spider that was charged with protecting Stallin, however, after the 50 million Jews he had put to death, he began questioning his orders. Using magic to corrupt the Spider, it transformed into an Eagle, basically the same thing, but with a Bird motif rather than a Spider motif. Also, those Eagles tend to have large wings, and tend to be Synthetic, rather than the Organic Spider's. They primarily take Children as hosts. This is my concept art for Kestrel. 

Hey, is adamantium an acceptable in-universe material? I realize now that graphene put together in any configuration other than in one-atom slabs would seriously alter its properties. Also, can anyone give me a very basic rundown of who is where, what has transpired that is relevant to the plots going on currently, etc?

A rule of thumb would be, when in doubt, the character is in Lost Haven (a large metropolis in Maine), except for my three characters (although Iron Knight is currently in Lost Haven). Plots that you need to know about: -Demon invasion of Lost Haven (thwarted by the heroes who live in Lost Haven). -Nightmare (a metahuman) is going on a killing spree in Lost Haven (although it was interrupted by the Demonic Invasion). -The Criminal Mastermind, the Cowl, is attempting to resecure his assets in Lost Haven. Another metahuman, the Cancer, has also appeared to make the Cowl's life a little more difficult. I think those are the main plots that are currently relevant. Anyone else can chirp in if I am missing anything.

Adamantium would be a no go, but feel free to create your own

In glory I return. Anyway, long story short there were a lot of family issues over break and they impacted my ability to post. Plus the forum issues meant that I never seemed to be able to get on. Anyway hopefully things will begin moving again soon.

I was wondering if I could get some help figuring out where best to start with Redback? I mean, I don't want him to be all on his lonesome, otherwise there's no point in even joining the RP. But, at the same time, I don't want him to just jump into a situation and be "Hey, I'm a thing now!!!"

You would have to either PM NeutralNexus (you can either find his profile by going to page 70 or going to the first page and follow one of his character sheet links on the first page - preferably for the Cowl so that you can familiar yourself with that character). Getting into contact with NeutralNexus is especially important if you want Redback to try to assassinate the Cowl because you cannot go off and kill other PC's without the other player's permission.

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. Though, I would start with just a simple introductory arc to let us get to know him a bit. Then move on to going after Cowl, which, Lyger will also be involved in.

I'm making real progress on my CS, hopefully it will be up by tonight and you guys can scrutinize to your heart's delight.

Also, in the character sheet template, when you see "Speech Color", this is a vestige feature from the old guild website. As of right now, you may leave that blank or "I will pick out the color / font later" since we currently do not have the ability to color our text (although the next update to the guild should include this feature, unless I am mistaken).
