I was reading back and there was a mention of needing axe-users (or lack thereof in here). If you guys want, I could change Ret into a Brigand instead. Heaven knows it's an easy thing to do with that back story.

Reading back has also brought up some interesting, unresolved chat I've missed:

@71342 If you want to change him to a brigand, that is entirely up to you. I mean, I'm probably going to compensate whatever you don't have with NPCs anyway, so... What do you feel you'd have the most fun playing as? An odd magician or an odd axe-wielder?

Edit: Seen from a different perspective, you'd leave Calico as the only offensive magic-user and join a way larger bunch of physical damage-causers. ... Granted, that group tends to be larger anyway, but eh.

@PlatinumSkink: I really don't have an opinion... but, I'd say that unless they're planning on making that Grado lord, we might as well start and introduce them as soon as they're done with their CS. The only worry that I would have is if we're going to be literally waiting for every single person to do an IC post before the plot moves on, every time, because, well, thirteen is a lot and a lack of momentum is pretty much the heat death of forum based RPs...

But~ I must say that having lots of characters would probably add to the whole Fire Emblem style thing... and maybe, if it's too many to fit on a map, we could do a rotation and bench one character per battle or something? Idk. Just an idea... XD

It's a meme. XD It was frequently used in Twitch Plays Pokemon (:D) but it originates from League of Legends, where it is also frequently used. XD

@PlatinumSkink Both odd. XD. I see. That's nice, now that I know there isn't any dire need/peer pressure to have a axe wielding party member, I think I'll stick with the Magician. It's so much more amusing to play a character that doesn't conform to their stereotype.

@Harbringer@Nightmare Bunny What a relief! Had you both not clarified that, I would have had to avoid LAN shops for the rest of my life - for trauma of chinese gamers abruptly celebrating a victory.

He gets very nervous around girls and has never been good at discussing women. Princesses have scared him since boyhood when his mother attempted to get him to like them and marry one.

Um. Is this about his mother attempting to get him to like the CONCEPT of marrying a princess... Or trying to get him to like an actual existing princess? And are we talking princesses as in the daughters of royalty or the way how the word "princess" could be used to refer to any noble girl who behaves like one?

It's an odd and dangerous job. But its fun and rewarding most of the time. Except when we get anti-vaxers come in to complain about their child being autistic. I literally went up to one who was harassing a junior aide and said "Lady, your kid isn't autistic, he just has your genes. Now get out before I call security." We really hate those people ._. (Needless to say I was reprimanded for being tactless...)

Also I feel like I should make Archibald indifferent to women now that so many people are uncomfortable around them. Its like the Year 10 dance all over again.

@Harbringer *snicker* If you feel this is necessary. Well, Marwood is only like that to SPECIFIC females, Habit is a womanizer when he's not busy following their irrefutable commands somehow so that's not really being uncomfortable with them, and that's about it. Not really the archtypical cases. Haha.

Wonderfully done~ I am somewhat curious, what is your explanation on her weakness being Optimism?

It's not like my Fire Emblem party mostly consists of Assassins, Sword masters, and Heroes anyways. Who needs diversity when you can choppy choppy stabby stabby your way to victory.

Edit: As for more characters. It's a tough decision. I wouldn't mind more later but as of now maybe just 1 more would be okay so we can start with 10 characters. (A nice rounded number.)

HAHAHA. The strange and wonderful mental image of our player characters as a bunch of ninth graders, just awkwardly standing together in the school gym and trying to work up the courage to do something. Except for Ret, maybe, who I sort of imagine getting his inner party animal on.

If we have to many poeple but still want to use them we can do a Radient Dawn thing where we have two groups.
