It's not as simple as that, they can always detect and determine where their members are, as many Instances both in Skyrim and Oblivion have determined.
Their pact with Sithis and the night mother is eternal up until expiration of life, and Sithis, as well as the spectre of him would likely not wane, he is not like the Dawdric princes where the strength of the DB matches his own, he simply is, as well as this he doesn't prevent the dissolution of the DB, even though the Skyrim faction is remaining strong, irregardless of Ciceros plans; if the listener ever arises that is.
Sithis will still punish his own when they disobey, and whilst there is no evidence to suggest that the wraith if Sithis is aligned to him, even though it's name should suggest that it is, there is no proof to disprove that fact either.

In the end, I recommend that the Bio be modified to a more agreeable basis, one can be an assassian that is unaligned to the DB and still be as equally efficient, the Morang Tong are a perfect example, although, I do believe that one must be a Dunmer to be apart of that, I'm unsure of the specifics.

Well they find their members cause they are good at that. I doubt it's magical in nature like they just instantly know. I doubt it.

Yet there is no real proof of Sithis intervening as he hasn't actually shown himself or truly spoken. Everyone speaks for him like many worshippers speak for God in our own reality. I've researched extensively and never found a hint that Sithis, himself, keeps the DB going. Its more so that his followers and the Night Mother that does. And it is called the Wrath of Sithis but lacks evidence that he himself drops that wrath upon his followers. As with Astrid, who went against the Night Mother, she was done in and remarked she screwed up and preformed the ritual upon herself which can be considered the Wrath taking affect even though Sithis himself never stepped, so to speak.

I'm not even arguing for my character so much as just lore in general. Lol

Psst... Irregardless isn't a word.

Anyway what if Tyrion never took the oath? That could /maybe/ be a work around if he can explain just how how Tyrion could avoid it.

I haven't revealed his fully history so there is context missing. Especially on his escape. I never stated how long it has been since he broke free of the Brotherhood but his "leave" happened around the same time as that sects fall. There is meant to be spaces to be filled through actions and discussions throughout the rp itself. Also what says he has to be celibate? I don't see that. Plus in lore the Dark Brotherhood never blocked away sex, love or anything of that nature. Sithis himself had children and was "married" to the Night Mother, though not his own words. The Skyrim sect had a married couple. His training was purely to create the ultimate assassin but you mistake that he must be an emotionless void when the Brotherhood never was about that. Their tenets do not state and members openly throw their emotions around.

<Snipped quote by ManoftheNorth>

Most of my points are up above but, Wrath of Sithis is never stated to be directly from the Sithis. Plus the Night Mother and the First Listener believed they heard his voice. When do Shadowscales enter the Void? I don't remember such a thing. Sithis has never actually made an appearance or spoke. No one enters the Void as it is what existed before Oblivion and everything but supposed to be where you go when you die as worshippers believe.

I probably, shouldn't have used the wording, I did as it is very story-teller worded, but as lore states when all members of TDB die, they enter the Void becoming one with Sithis, this is stated by all, and believed by all who are truly religious to the beliefs of TDB. Even before TDB was created Sithis was a known entity, he is the void, the ever present Primordial that was present in the beginning, and will be present in the end. The "Wrath of Sithis" was also a presence from before TDB and will continue to be one unaffected by the changes in TDB. This will relentlessly hunt all members who attempt to leave. They are destined for the void, the final debt and the final mark, is always themselves. No matter the escape, no matter the pyschological state, no matter the present province, he will be hunted by the Wrath of Sithis, and returned to the Void. One cannot leave TDB. No one has ever left, not even characters like the Champion of Cyrodil and The Dragonborn can escape the fate, without aligning themselves with a Daedric as CHAMPION. Thus, Tyrion would be dead by now, long be now.

Actually wrong. In Oblivion, it shows that the Wrath of Sithis is a wraith and the Hero of Kvatch can defeat it three different times to which he is closed off from the Dark Brotherhood forever. In Elder Scrolls lore, besides the very beginning, Sithis has never once shown himself or did a thing. It has all been the will and worship of others saying they are carrying out his duties. The Night Mother is the only person to have spoken with Sithis himself but beyond that Sithis has not done a thing. You can say that the wraith is from Sithis as it is known as the Wrath of Sithis which makes sense.

I cannot find a single thing that states you can't leave the Brotherhood except for the Shadowscales which are killed if they leave. Enric Milres, character in lore, left the Dark Brotherhood and was only killed because he wrote book giving away Dark Brotherhood secrets. To my knowledge from research is you have to fight the Wrath of Sithis to earn forgiveness and if defeated three times then you gain forgiveness and are safe. You only envoke the Wrath of Sithis IF you break the tenets.

Kal-El, you do know it's not necessary for an Assassin to come from the Dark Botherhood? Tyrion could quite easily have been brought up by some more upper-class bandits or soldiers, etc.

Ah, fuck. I knew this would happen.
Apologies for being a shitty GM everyone. I'd like to say that from here on out I'll be all nose-to-the-grindstone and whatnot, but my A-Level exams are like a week away, so I'm really stressing out over those for the time being.
However, this doesn't mean this roleplay is going to die - because it isn't; it's just too damn good, with a load of awesome roleplayers that I'm not going to let down.
So, I'm gonna put in a wee holiday for this week and the next, and everyone can take a break from this (even though we kind of already have for like 20 days - oops.) And then we can come back afterwards.
I hope everyone will come back afterwards, because things will pick up after the dragon attack.
Again, I'm sorry about having to take a little break, but my A-Levels are pretty important to study for. After those though, the writing shall commence!

Maybe I should play through the main mission in Skyrim so I know what's happening, then?

I always get caught up in side missions and the civil war so I never got past the Jergan Windcaller's Horn mission (yeah, that's pretty early in the main mission.)
