Nice. I'll actually use that for Eisenkreis until I can get something better up. Assume that anything on the Germany page is in service in the Eisenkreis military.

Well i increased my population after i realized that there was no WW1 so not a largue part of the male population died which is equal to more population, but following the advice i decreased it to 186 millions .

Now there is IC yey , i will start writing my post
WW1 loses were horrible, especially if combined with the diseases which took even more lives but this almost only effected Europe.
Your nation is a third world country which modernized just recently.
Granted, India had the population of 200+ million and their size roughly correlates to yours, so yeah.
I don't mind your population, though.
Especially not because this means I'm even less of a global superpower, a status I don't want for Yllendthyr to be.
At least not at the moment. Many things can happen and some nation may even conquer half the globe so it's difficult to make comments about the future.

Anything but jet planes, I suppose.
By GM fiat they're being suppressed for now.

On a different note, how far is Eisenkreis on the "German WW2 Tech Tree"?
I mean the date is 1939 but Voltus already said that we are at 1943 or later levels in terms of technology.

I would like to think that we're generally at 1939-1940 but have a few things ahead of time here and there, mostly specialized weapons technology which can easily be blamed on an arms race between the major powers.

Also, all of my stuff is stolen from the Soviet Union and Greece, for an odd compilation.

Taking into account what navy and air-force Eisenkreis has, I think you can safely assume what on that list isn't part of their armory. Otherwise, things like the Stg44 and Mg42 exist in the armor, with the latter being issued to units such as Black-Iron, and the former being distributed to the Faust Die Eisen to replace the Gewehr 98 that is still largely in use.

Edit: Stronk bbcode.

My military is in the works, and it seems to be shaping up to be an odd combo between Nazi Germany and the U.S.A.

Well, many things in WW2 were just the matter of time and that the war escalated and needed bigger, stronger and better protected vehicles.

As for tech inspirations, I mostly run on original ideas or search for interesting designs which then I further develop on.
My heavy tank is based after the French AMX-50/120. Save for some obvious changes.
I reason its technology and armament with implementing things which were previously only used for aircraft and warships.

BTW, I'm still undecided how to name my emperor but this is how he'll look:

Trust me, he's a pretty nice guy once you get to know him.

I've finally got a handle on what I want my military to look like, just need to put in all the military lingoisms and what not . . . and get GM approval on some stuff. Also, I've decided on how Umbraisis is politically. It's basically going to be America, but if the States never really united together after beating back the British. The Silme are trying to hold everything together, being the most active in matters of foreign diplomacy, the Navari are trying to go to war, as their belief system dictates they must to and are heavily against modernazation of their civilian lives. The Khoren only care for their mountains, and would be content to let the nation fall to pieces if not for their southern neighbor.

So they are a nation very much divided, with the savage Navari in prime position to attempt either a coup, or a rebellion. War might be what breaks this nation . . . or could be the crucible it needs to rise to ever greater heights.

BTW, because I still can't find enough time to work on my IC I spent some on my military instead.
Check the hider for "Military Breakdown by Numbers - 1939"
It also includes how many of my soldiers are stationing in the Zanshir Islands.

Since I'm bored, I think I'll be editing my NS a bit just cause, namely the weapon and army part since that's what I enjoy xP

Expect mostly Japanese weapons with some weapons from other countries known to be reliable/easy to produce.

@ClocktowerEchosIf we are at it, what's your opinion on the decades-old ceasefire I proposed to be between our nations?
It's obvious that we had territorial disputes in the past so war should be expected.
You could also use this rivalry to motivate your people for developing their military.
I mean if our war took place in the early 20s then I already had Arqwen I type tanks and various airships/aeroplanes.
Harassment from my Griffin Riders would be also given you enough reason to improve your AA defenses.

Off the top of my head I want to say that my record is around 22,000. I might break it this time.

Of course I don't usually make behemoth posts like this, I just have a lot that I need to cover.

@Willy Vereb TO be quite honest, I'm not really sure what the hell I'm doing for the most part.

Originally, I had a plan to basically start a World War with me rofl-stomping most of the people around me after some violently government over-throw/political cluster fuckery and seeming all powerful before collapsing under its own weight and the radical government not knowing how to correctly control occupied areas, but now I'm unsure.

I probably will not do that plan, but I still think I will still hold claims to some of my colonies. Given that one of Ryukyu's Yamatai's military ideas is versatility, I'm thinking they won't have great AA as much as they will have epic machine gun/autocannons and maybe heavy shells. Since I'm guessing Yamatai rifles don't do jack against flying targets, as most rifle are.

I'm thinking that out preposed war in the 20's would cause a mini sort of "military-industrial revolution" for my nation as they rapidly tried to advanced their military after the war.

I'll wait for your response, then.
That may give me more fuel to write about.
I'll be honest and say that the bombings in the first post would barely bother the Emperor and he'd just say the local forces to take care of it themselves.
I actually invented a few additions to the bombings' effect just to avoid me ignoring it as "locals stirring up trouble again".
I may also comment a few on Velikaya's speech and then have my officials meet with Hambria who appears to need my technical experts.
I already discussed a non-aggression pact with them so they are a slight bit like allies to me.
Without them I could never hold the colonies in the Zanshir Islands, for example.
Because I pretty much travel through their turf.

Anyways, as I said, I'll wait for your post then.

@ClocktowerEchosSounds good to me.
Of course you are free to do with your nation what you want.

Are you going to have your forces end up skirmishing with the Tin, as suggested by Voltus, or will it be a more muted reaction?

Since the government is still in interregnum what with the new Sultan just coming to power, the regional authorities will handle it. Basically they will just launch an investigation, torture a few people, and threaten to order a decimation if more bombings/attacks follow.

When they get word that almost the exact same thing happened on the elves' side they will be really suspicious, but they probably won't try to legitimitize what they see as an unlawful colony on their lands by cooperating with the elves.

I doubt I'll be fighting Tin unless it provokes me.
Bombings happened on both sides, causing equal damage. It's obvious that whoever attacked it was enemies with both Yllendthyr and Tin.
After analyzis it'd be determined that military grade explosives were used and the kind which may not even be standard for either Tin or Yllendthyr.
So yeah, this whole plot is actually rather transparent.
Somebody either infiltrated Zanshir islands or supplying local rebels with weapons.
The question is who?
If the explosives are something Yllendthyr uses then it could be a rebel element in the local Drefgiad.
If the explosives are foreign then my first suspect is KalMea because I know they deal with advanced military grade explosives.
I could also suspect Avalia but they would only really attack Tin and they might be almost happy I have a presence in Zanshir.
And so on.

Generally it's just that a couple of bombs damaged buildings and killed people across the borders. It would certainly increase tension between the local forces but this alone won't be enough to cause war.
If Zanshir openly rises up against the two empires then it may even cause me to slightly cooperate with Tin for a while.
With hundreds of thousands of soldiers staging it's quite obvious that any kind of rebellion in the islands is bound to fail.
Long story short, you need more to actually cause a war.

I expected something more insidious which could've ended up with either side blaming the other. In addition I kinda overestimated the effects.
So yeah, Yllendthyr's response would be that another source of annoyance showed its head.
Whether these events later escalate into war or not depends on how all the other nations would react, IMO.

Figuring out that this was a plot to turn the two sides against eachother seems fairly simple. Military grade explosives going off on both sides.

The only people who could profit from that are rebels or people against imperialism (*cough* P.R.K. *cough*). So, perhaps the evidence does not point directly to PRK, but it certainly does put the possibility of their involvement on the table.

Yeah, it would.
Although I don't think I'd suspect somebody targeted me just because I'm imperialist since that's the general attitude of the whole era.
Actually I may even suspect infighting between the nobles. I'll detail the reasoning behind in my IC post.

<Snipped quote by Willy Vereb>

You have insulted my honour!
Your merchants practically deal with anyone so long they pay.
I may not suspect you as a mastermind behind something like this because you would never go against Tin.
On the other hand trading weapons is okay so long it's conducted under the table.
So KalMea selling explosives to the rebels can make sense.

Either way, Klingon or not, it's never wise to challenge an Elf to a knife fight, especially if it's a noble. They are alarmingly swift. One moment and you just happen to find a blade pierced through your neck!
