I understand. I have been accused in my younger days as being an 'elitist', although there are no records of me being such. I am guilty by association. This community is small, not truly geared towards high-end fights, but is willing to accept everyone who is wants to help build it. I and a few others are looking forward to an entertaining fight.

@Sword I'm still uncomfortable with how much science mumbo jumbo there are in both your sheets, but I'm just gonna fight nonetheless. The way I understand your sheets is simple enough, I hope.

Maybe, for the sake of Bart, keep descriptions and explanations simple? I know he's intimidated by how much big words ya'll use.

I love hearing that this place is budding and growing and accepting of all. Perhaps we could help establish a higher meta of fighters who do enjoy high-concept fights(not taking anything from other power metas, as I have a character for all) but hate the backlash received from how, er, abstract it can get at times.

Oh yeah, that's another thing. In Character, we tend to leave AAAAALLLL the mumbo jumbo science out of it until it becomes relevant(such as for delegations over the validity of an attack/defense/yadayada). We generally will use real-world comparisons and simplifications in the actual writing. I mean, Hel's intro post wasn't that bad was it?

So I think I can simplify a lot of Gun's stuff into simple terms.

Gates - basic level stuff, stuff that's the base for everything he does.

Genesis - makes stuff

Integration - combines stuff

Distortion - breaks down stuff, but also can be used to apply force

Eversion - destroys stuff

Induction - applies on-hit effects to stuff

Repulsion - mimics stuff

Gunsmoke - makes stuff decay faster than normal

Electric Light - absorbs energy and stuff

White Album - A very fancy gun that can modify other guns

Riotbreaker - Another very fancy gun that can make melee forms

Also, the hilarious thing? I am actually Gun, as in the name I go by in my group, based on my affinity for them. Him being all about Guns is a sorta' injoke. I actually have a character(same powerlevel as the Drivers) named Gun. xD

In general, so long as all parties are agreeable and the like, and aren't all "WEll, we do it this way in this place, so we aren't gonna do it this way in this place', we generally get along with everyone who wants to come in and have a good time.

Skally is right though, like him I've seen the whole roving band of fighters that come in, attempt to wreck shit(because lolbeater'onehereweduhbest), and then leave.
