Damn dwarf! An attempted spear to the eye again.

He took a slightly different approach. With the spear rapidly coming at his face, he threw his force into going to the side and slightly forward into the dwarf's direction while attempting to pull the spear with his left arm out of the dwarf's hand. He formed a spike on his right hand to impale him.

And there we go. Now the demon had moved into Durin's effective range. He let go of the spear when Artholath grabbed for it, he didn't need it for what he was planning. At the same time he stepped in and towards the magic user, swinging his shield to deflect the ice spike and balling his hand into a fist with his middle finger's knuckle stuck out punching right at Artholath's throat, the other major weak spot. As he punched, Durin pivoted his right foot inward and twisted his right hip in the same direction, putting the whole force of his bodyweight behind that punch.

The great weakness of thrusting weapons, other than meeting a surface it couldn't pierce, was that they were easily deflected by force applied in a direction perpendicular to their path and Durin's preference for centergrip shields was the surprising amount of agility and maneuverability one could get out of them. strap shields were harder to lose and sturdier, but Durin found them less useful overall for defense and offense. Sticking out the knuckle on his fist gave his armored hand a single point for the force of his weight to focus on. Doing this could be a good way to get your finger broken; however, when aimed at a soft fleshy bit and covered in tempered iron, Durin was more confident that his hand would remain intact.

Artholath's surprisingly light bodymass made it so the punch to one of his more critical spots knocked him clear halfway across the street, a loud screech coming from him. The spear that he was still holding was embedded between two planks of a wall.

Although he was now at a good range to cast, his accuracy would suffer greatly. Trying to clear his head, he shot several small spikes from his lower appendages, half of which would miss altogether, while clumsily walking towards the wall, trying to pull out the spear.

Zargon watched Artholath be knocked clear across the street. He knew Artholath's main form wasn't very heavy, but it had to be a solid punch to be quite as effective. Ah well. It was time for him to recall Artholath; the mayor could wait. He would have liked to have the man killed first, but considering Artholath wasn't much of a combatant in melee against someone who appeared to be skillful, it was only a matter of time before the Dwarf found out his weak spot.

With that in mind, he cast a red portal on the end of the street, to the right of Artholath, big enough to accomidate Artholath's true form. Hopefully he would get there first before the dwarf could do any more damage.

Hopefully he sees the portal, period.

Durin did his best to avoid the ice spikes, but one managed to peg him in his chest, directly to the right of his left shoulder. An unfortunate shot in the weakspot of his armor, but Durin probably wouldn't be using his left arm too much without any medical attention in the near future. The dwarf spotted the portal opening and figured that the demon would be able to escape before he could make it to him, especially with the now almost-dead weight of his left arm and shield. Well, there was one thing he could do, it would be a long shot, but better than to let the thing get away scot-free. Durin draws his knife from his left hip in one clean movement and throws it at the grounded demon. It wasn't a knife designed for throwing, but hopefully it would find its mark. Leave the bastard with a good scar to remember Durin by.

Portal...?

It didn't really matter where it went. As Artholath began taking long, but still disoriented strides towards it, a knife hit the point of one of his smaller appendage points; a softer spot it was, allowing it to pierce through. With a roar of anger, limping towards the portal, Artholath shot hastily formed spikes from his free left hand while his right held the dwarf's spear.

The portal began to close as Artholath limped inside.

"You appear to have been at a distinct disadvantage..." The voice echoed across the walls of Zargon's private chamber, the walls of which were completely obscured by shimmering darkness.

"Oh, really? How did you guess..." whith a barely visible grimance on his face, Artholath pulled the knife out of his side and threw the thing on the stone floor of Zargon's chamber.

"You will get to kill him soon enough. All of them, in fact.

For now, go into the portal. You'll meet with my associate in there, he'll show you what you need when you explan who sent you.
"

Artholath shifted to his human form with a little assistance from Zargon. Notthat he knew of it, but Zargon knew that Artholath was still a little disoriented. He had an affinity for knowing demonic weak spots, and for demons of Artholath's type a spot right under the chin would be the killer mark. He watched as Artholath walked through the now yellow portal to Ghresus's fortress. His fortress? No, my fortress...

Aezophyl he never did learn, though. Unfortunately, to get Aezophyl back would mean expending a lot of energy digging through the abyss. A place where there was a lot more than just demons... no, Aezophyl would have to do it himself.

Durin side-stepped the ice spikes, feeling a bit self-satisfied that his bad idea actually paid off a bit. Unfortunately, he was now out of both a spear and his knife. Durin liked that knife. Well at least he still had his hatchet handy. Durin draws his axe and looks over towards the bar. Was it still on fire? Then he looked around at the town in general. Were there still flaming skeletons attacking everyone? He got a bit overly absorbed in the hunt and fight. It got his blood pumping again, he felt more alive than he had for awhile. The past couple of years had been too sedentary.

Katia paused briefly not realizing a question was directed at her ”How’s it looking out there? I really hope there’s not much left to fight", she tried to quickly recap events outside but the most she could remember was charging around enjoying the fight Katia just grinned as she looked at the woman "Should be more or less safe by now i guess, a load of guards were fighting and Tobias is out there he'll help anyone struggling". Katia took another sip while everyone seemed to gather at the bar for the remaining alcohol, she couldn't help but notice one of them placed money on the counter for the drink they took, while the others began to banter amongst themselves.

A short while later a Gnome walked in to investigate, "Might I recommend we all take the time to remember this building was on fire and had an explosion in it, so it could probably fall down at any moment. Could we vacate the premises?", Katia took another sip from the bottle she had, as she looked around the building some embers were still burning away as wooden beams creaked loudly. "Good point" Katia whispered as she put the bottle down & grabbed her spear, after quickly swiping the money left on the counter without anyone noticing "it be a waste to just leave it to burn..." she muttered to herself as she made her way around the bar & walked over to the exit, Katia trying desperately not to pickup & hug the little Gnome like a doll for being so short & cute as she headed for the exit, the thought going from her mind as she figured she should check up on Tobias after they got split up early on in the fighting.

Things were indeed starting to settle down outside the decrepit tavern. Despite the skeletons being as versatile as they were, they seemed to be on the losing side. They weren’t easily put down, but with the backup of the mayor and his guards and the citizens that raised up arms along with them, the fires of the forbidden realm were put out this day. Huffs and puffs were heard throughout the streets as people were finally able to catch their breath. Soon, cheers of victory could be heard as the last few skeletons were disposed of.

“This wasn’t like any other attack we’ve seen so far” the captain grumbled as he slowly pulled himself up to lean on a barricade wall. “They hit us on several points today, with a magic that was far superior to all the previous attacks. It’s going to take a while for us to recoup, sir. We’ve lost so many men today, I don’t think we can take another attack like that.” he pleaded with the mayor. “We took a heavy loss today, but we can’t give in to this madness, Davik. Pull yourself together!” His doubt wasn’t exactly silenced there, but it crept no further into his mind. He’d spend the next couple of days gathering a list of casualties. It was the last thing he wanted to think about, but the mayor was right. Might as well not dwell on it now, when the time comes, they’d figure it out. Besides, it had seemed that the main fight was taken care of by a small group of citizens. “After you’ve had yourself tended to, make sure ‘they’ are taken care of, captain. We need good men and women to fight on our side. ‘We’ might not be able to handle this, but with them here, we may just have a chance.” The captain merely nodded. He had never seen such a force before. And the large man armored man, that sword- it actually damaged the demon when he hit it before they went into the inn. “Incredible!” he thought. He’d have to find out what it was made from. Perhaps they did have a chance after all.

The town itself was in such disarray. The skeletons had nearly made their way up to the capital district, the north end of town that housed the mayor and his family, the barracks and military headquarters. Their flames had nearly destroyed the docks, many sections in the market district were completely in ruin, even the residential area had seen a lot of damage. It was still early in the evening, but the sun had disappeared for the day, and the stars had been hidden by the blanket of smoke that covered the sky. The smell of death lingered in the air, though if it was a stench emitted from the demons and the portals that had been opened, or their many losses of that day, no one knows. But no one will ever forget that smell.

There was a healer in town, her name was Kayleth. The captain had been to see her a few times with numerous injuries over the years. She wasn’t too far from the group of them. He’d head there first before addressing the warriors in the tavern.

~~*~~

Izzy was growing annoyed with the gentleman. She couldn’t help it if they ruined his favorite bar. It’s not like she chose it for their fight. But she sighed heavily, nodding to Katia and then to Tirarrian before directing her attention to Robert.”I’m not sure how you missed it all out there, but there was a demon attack on the town. The three of us followed the lead demon in here. It seems you just missed all the action, so I can’t really blame you for your ignorance, your stupidity, well, that’s yet to be seen. I managed to slow him down … we nearly had him too … damn coward.” she said, frustration and defeat hung over her words and she shook her head then chugged down the last of what was left in the bottle.

She looked over to the gnome again and smirked ”Glad to see that you made it out of this alive, would’ve been a damn shame if we lost you.”. She gradually made her way to the door, avoiding the mess around her. Stretching her arms out to the side, she braced the door frame and leaned her body through the entranceway, vacant of it’s door. Her eyes lingered over the mess outside. ”It looks almost as bad out there as it does in here”, she chuckled. But then she saw him, the dwarf from earlier. He was injured, and looked way worse than the rest of them. ”My dear little friend, I think your salves and poultices could be put to better use on him” her sentence was directed towards Tirarrian as she pointed out towards Durin.

As Tirarrian stood frozen by the doorway in her gesturing pose Izzy from earlier walked up, and smirked down at the Gnome. ”Glad to see that you made it out of this alive, would’ve been a damn shame if we lost you.” Tirarrian jerked from her pose and gave a curt nod. As she passed by she got a better look at this 'Izzy'. By far her most defining feature was her cutting green eyes. Although they would be prominent normally, her styled auburn hair framing her face and red clothes made it so any common man's heart would probably be sent aflutter at her merest comment.

Izzy looked out the door, before catching the Gnomes attention again. ”My dear little friend, I think your salves and poultices could be put to better use on him.” Tirarrian grabbed one side of the doorframe and leaned around to look outside, her small head appearing at about waist height on the far larger human lady. Following Izzy's pointing finger she saw a stumbing and heavily wounded Dwarf who looked a bit lost in it all. "Ah, yes," Tirarrian started, "He does seem in a bit of a state, doesn't he." She turned back to the burning bar's newest and grimmest patrons "If you need any immediate treatment find me in a moment, if not I'll come find you later. Just don't stay here and cook please." And with that, Tirarrian tipped her hat to Izzy "Good day, m'lady." and with that she pulled her satchel further up her shoulder and started towards the Dwarf, waving at him to try and get his attention

Well, everything seemed to have mostly settled down. There were no burning skeletons in his sight at least so he was probably safe. First a limb check. His shoulder was almost immobile. Expected, but a rather serious impediment. He could bend his elbow. Surprising, but good. And he could open and close his fist, although they felt much weaker than usual. All in all, could be better, but also could be 9 Hells of a lot worse. So there really wasn't much point in keeping a giant chunk of ice in his chest.

When Tirarrian spotted Durin, she saw him pulling out a bloody icicle from his shoulder. Normally, the Dwarf might have been concerned about losing blood before he could find something to patch it up, he was 74% sure that freezing his flesh would be a lot worse. Durin presses the palm of his right hand over his wound and looks around before finally spotting Tirarrin. Silently he walked up to the gnome. She didn't really look like the sort to stick around battlefields, but who knew with gnomes. They were slippery sorts.

@The Fated Fallen

-----------------------------

The moment Kayleth heard about burning skeletons destroying the city, she clicked her tongue. This would be bad. She would need to prepare to take in double the amount of people she normally did, and that probably wouldn't be enough to adequately care for those injured during the attack. Hopefully Maria would be able to handle any patients she couldn't. If it got really bad, she might have to resort to a bit of magic to help as many people recover as quickly as possible. The elf turns towards her assistant, a young human girl about 17 years old.

"Ashara, I'll need your help to deal with this emergency. I'll need as many bandages and as much salve as we can muster." It was then that the Guard Captain walked into her clinic. She didn't bother with the usual smile she would give her customers to improve their mood, instead addressing the captain with a stern voice that would fit the situation. "How many casualties are we looking at?

Robert wanted to punch the lady so bad. But he knew what would happen So he decided to walk out of the pub. As soon as he left the group the sword started talking to him." stay with them." Robert stood still." Are you nuts? You know i work alone. Plus i dont have the feeling i got much respect from them. Especially that women, god what a bitch."" Usually i would agree but this time it might be safer to join them. Unless you want your throat slit by demons."

Robert was supprised the sword was disagreeing with him." How do you mean throat slit? You dont think its about you is it? His sword sighed. Something that it had never done before." Jezus Robert you know that demons are scared of me. And that demon? Well there was something od about him."" What That he killed himself?"

The sword laughed but quickly became serious." I have no idea actually. I just have a feeling that if you leave the group you will probably die."Robert Cursed something foul. Then sighed and turned around and tried not to look annoyed as he walked back to the pub. He then walked over to Isabeau. " Look umm i have been thinking and uh if its not much trouble i would like to join your little group.
Because i have heard this place is full of demons and i wont be able to fight them off by myself" Robert quickly refrased that.
"Umm i meant i could but eh it would be alot harder."" So? Do you agree? A helping sword could be usefull."

Jade nearly kicked the gnome that was coming into the tavern to help, only to find out that the battle had ended. Coughing hard, Jade moved out of the way and took a step to leave, only to hear that the gnome had medical supplies. Grimacing as she held her arm where the burning beam had hit her she said.

"The salve would be much appreciated."

For those who knew Jade well, knew that it was rare when she didn't cuss at least once in each sentence she spoke, but when she didn't use profanity she was either hurt or very serious about what she was saying. Looking back to the room, she was disappointed that she could not take the demon down, her failure weighing heavy on her mind, she stepped away from the burning building and removed the cloth from her face so that she could breathe a little easier.

Taking the gnomes advice, while applying some salve, Edict grabs his drink and walks outside. He then turns to the rest of the group. "Did that little fireball seem like the leader type to you all? He attacks in broad daylight when all of the guard is out patrolling. He also wasn't really giving orders to these little joys," Edict crushes a small detached skeleton head under his boot, "just letting them reek havoc... Aezophyl didn't do this alone. A higher demon probably commanded him to." There was a certain one he was connected to... Or Jeltheor summonded him. "Oh hey, look at that! I need to use the restroom! Battle always causes my bowels to vacate." Edict quickly walks to a half burned down outhouse and pulls out four dark red candle. The hunter places the four candles in a small diamond shape and whispers the words, "Damnatione. Notitia. Exorior." Suddenly, a small portal showing a small but large winged demon on the other side appears.

"Edict! I-I wasn't expecting you! W-what would you like!?"

"Ahsan, you're the fucking information center of hell what the fuck do you think I want?"

"Ah! Of course, of course! Uh, what information would you like?"

"Aezophyl. Who is his master?"

The demon leans in a bit and whispers, "Zargon..."

Zargon!? What did that powerful of a demon want with this shit hole??

"Any information on him?"

"Ahhh... No not really... Honestly he's a very secretive person... "

"Find out more."

"Edict i don't think that's a very good-", Edict reaches for something in a side pouch, "No, no, no!! I can find out more!! I can! "

"Good."

Edict blows out the candles and the portal fades away and the witch hunter proceeds to put the candles back. Ahsan will be finding out more about Zargon. (OOC: @ArenaSnow you can do whatever you'd like with Ahsan) Zargon. How did Jeltheor pull a demon that powerful? Edict then walks out of the outhouse, giving a steely glare to anyone who questions what he was doing.
[@everyone]

A man listens to another younger man give what is apparently a report. The older man then grimaces and says, "Jeltheor will not be happy." The older, scarred man marches to Jeltheor's chamber and gives the news that the attack did not succeed. He dons a grim look as he knows the mage is a bit of a hot head.

Zargon collected his energies for his checkup with Ghresus.

Recruitment was going quite well; Artholath was resting and more Blood Knights and demons of lesser stature were joining. But it wasn't enough. he would need the leader of the Southern Kingdom and his horde... that would take some convincing indeed.

Appearing behind Ghresus as he always did, Zargon watched as Ghresus looked into several blood bowls (think of a demonic computer station), frowning at some and showing other emotions for others. "Oh..." Turning, he let out another "Oh!" in surprise. "Damn it but you know I hate that..."

Zargon looked on at him with a grim face. "News?"

Ghresus smoothed out his bloody robes. "Ah yes... well, two things in particular. A warning from the Hidden that Jeltheor will catch wind of the attack and probably not be happy, and yes, I know, he disobeyed orders, but Jeltheor's a hothead. Second thing, you know that Ahsan fellow? Craxis heard him nosing around about you."

"Ahsan? Why does he care? He made it clear he didn't want to join."

"Craxis suspects that he's trying to gather intel. Possibly for some of the other demon lor- high level demons that want in on this." He narrowly avoided using the term 'demon lord' that Zargon hated.

"I see... if he wants to know more, then why not send him an invitation? Have him come here..."

Ghresus knew it didn't mean anything good. He felt sorry for Ahsan already. "Sure thing, boss."

He returned to his many bowls, sending a variety of messages, including the 'invitation' that Zargon had mentioned.

Zargon returned to his chamber, musing, and decided to scry on the humans once again.

She was about to give her answer to Robert when Edict spoke. She grumbled low at his interruption, but he had a point. There had to be something bigger at work here. She thought back to the rumors she heard when she first got into town, but was this all truly the work of one mage?

”Oh hey, look at that! I need to use the restroom! Battle always causes my bowels to vacate." She watched Edict with a suspicious eye as he brushed past her, announcing his trip to the outhouse. ”As you can see we’re not much of a group, just a bunch of people stuck in the same room, fighting the same battles” Her gaze snapped back to Robert and looked him over a moment. He seemed a bit older than her. Not by much she figured, but he towered over her in height. He was clumsy, impulsive, loud … but she could tell he saw his own share of battles. Her eyes swiftly traced over the scar on his eye, and that sword...There was something about his sword, and it was the sword more than anything else that she chose her next words carefully.

”Look at this place, the chaos these things have caused and the ruin they’ve left this place in. Their guards fought hard, and still, so many were lost. I’ve no idea how they would’ve fared against this demon … Aezophyl as he just called him.” she glanced over at Edict once more, observing the portal he opened with narrowed eyes.”This town is going to need all the help it can get.”, she looked back at Robert as she continued, ”So I won’t stand in the way of those who are just looking to help. I have my own way of doing things, but I do agree we’ll do much better as a group than on our own. Get in my way however, and I’m not responsible for your wellbeing.. Her nose wrinkled as she glanced over at Edict. She sighed heavily, she knew she was coming off as a bitch, but she wasn’t going to make any exceptions. Trust no one the thoughts kept rolling over in her mind. ”All I’m saying is watch out for yourself and be careful. Don’t take stupid risks, and if we’re going to win against this thing, we’re going to need to work together. Someone charging at them like an arrogant ass ‘will’ get themselves killed. Be smart. The golden ring around her eyes glittlered as a light flicked from the portal before it faded. She glanced at Edict once more then started walking towards the injured dwarf with hopes of catching up with Tirarrian.

Davik limped into the clinic, he had several burns all over his body and a large laceration on his left thigh where one of the skeletons had swung his sword in an attempt to disable him. He wasn’t a large or overbearing man. Only standing at about 5’10”, he was your regular soldier. Brown hair swayed over his brow, tan skin and handsome light brown eyes completed his look.

"How many casualties are we looking at? “What no smile today?” he grinned at her, his pain echoing in his voice. Ignoring his own attempt at charm, he simply answered her. “We don’t know yet, but I can tell you it’s alot. I saw Maria out there at one point, so I can tell you that you have her help in all of this, but I’m not sure how many she was able to save or help. I lost track of everything as we headed deeper into the skeleton raid. There was a group of civilians who managed to control a battle in the inn, thank the gods. I don’t know what we would’ve done without them” His sentences were swift and choppy, interrupted every now and then with a grunt. But it was as if he tried to get everything out in one breath, suddenly afraid if the next one would be his last

"The salve would be much appreciated."

Tirarrian spun around and appraised the woman. The most striking thing about her was the fact she was clearly a lady who wanted to look good, and she had the money and manner to make it so. Her clothes were clearly designed by some great seamtress, and the tight leathers showed off her both well toned body and impressive complexion making her look both stunning and dangerous, an effect further accentuated by various pockets that could contain the ingredients for any number of vicious machinations. Tirarrian could also make out some strange tattoos, but she didn't recognise what language the runes were in. Why couldn't people just settle for cog tattoos? Everyone can understand those. 'Another thing Gnomes do better' Tirarrian tittered in her head 'Tatoos based on clan make much more sense'

Another thing her sleeveless shirt revealed was a serious burn and blunt trauma, the latter would take more than just miracle cream. "You're going need something a bit heavier than just some booze and any salve I could give you. That arm looks broken, or at least badly bruised. Could you try and restrain from drinking for a little bit, my potions have alcoholic bases and you shouldn't mix drinks."

Tirarrian looked back at the wounded Dwarf, "You need medical attention, so come with me." she said to the lady, "Just understand I can't help you a great deal before I help that guy, he has some major wounds." the Gnome started walking across the square. "Look on the bright side, perhaps we can all have a lovely chat."

Durin removed his helmet that was previously obscuring his face. After all, he was no longer in combat, head protection would most likely be unnecessary. Holding the headgear under his right arm, looked at the two very different women and sized them up.

One of them was obviously a fighter, and the other was the gnome, but then again, that crossbow she carried meant she was not unprepared for combat. The human girl had more weapons on her, an axe and a dagger. Both respectable weapons to have that are effective from a distance and extreme close quarters. However, the fact that she didn't have any armor would leave her mostly unprotected against bladed and piercing weapons. So she probably wasn't a close range fighter despite first appearances. Unless she had armor and was just unprepared for the skeleton attack, which was a likely situation. The gnome on the other hand had a hat that somehow avoided damage during the fight and a lot of bags on her. Knowing gnomes, they were probably full of weird things. The human girl had a mistrustful, almost paranoid look in her eyes that he recognized somewhat in himself. Together, they seemed like a safe bunch to follow for now. And as a bonus, neither of them were unpleasant to look at.

Durin nods at Tirarrian's order and follows behind her wordlessly.

"Do not speak any more. I need to see to your wounds immediately. Ashara, prepare some salve for the guard captain!" From behind a closed storage door, a faint Yes Madam is heard. The front of the clinic was a clean, but small room consisting of a few shelves lined with simple, everyday medical products, closed off by a counter. Behind the counter is where Kayleth spent most of her day. However, the counter could easily be folded back to allow patients in of any race. Behind the counter was a doorless entryway into the clinic proper, a much larger room lined with 28 cots, 14 on each side, and in the center, a large stone table where her medical tools were kept. There wasn't anybody using the cots before the attack, so hopefully they would be able to handle maybe 60 injured people if Ashara could handle the stress. Currently the stone table had a pile of bandages stacked on top as Ashara had been instructed.

Kayleth folds back the counter and steps through, helping the injured captain through the entryway and onto a cot. "Do not worry, just try to relax here. If you went out now, you would only worsen your condition, and your men have enough to worry about as it is."

As Katia got outside she stood looking over the carnage left in the attacks wake people going in every direction trying to help others or trying to clear up some of the destruction. "What a mess..." Katia tapped her spear over her shoulder as she looked around hearing a slight rattle, She then held her spear in-front of her looking it over and touching the blade it wobbling slightly as she did so, "Ah!, crap..." Just then a heavy hand landed on her shoulder, seeing Tobias as she turned in response "That's happens when you throw your spear around with the sheer force that you do..." Katia just looked away from Tobias pouting.

"Well, it'll be the most inopportune time but we should visit the..." Tobias paused thinking what government or leadership this place had? "...town officials offices?..." Katia still pouting slightly annoyed at the previous comment & that her spear was in disrepair. "what for..." Tobias nudged her as he started to walk "a quiet place to stay maybe on the outskirts of the town... unless you're planing to sleep in the street during our time here" Katia catching up & walking alongside Tobias as he walked off randomly exploring through the town.

"You're going need something a bit heavier than just some booze and any salve I could give you. That arm looks broken, or at least badly bruised. Could you try and restrain from drinking for a little bit, my potions have alcoholic bases and you shouldn't mix drinks..."

The rest of the words faded away, her focus no longer on the Gnome as her hand absentmindedly held out for the woman to give her the salve. "Its not broken...Ill be fine..." Odd that once again she didn't use profanity, her gaze locked on Edict's back as he made his sudden proclamation and then departed from the group. Salve in hand, she started to apply it with out looking at he burn, her eyes ever trained on him as she silently trailed him. Tying the pouch to her belt, Jade came around the corner to find him standing in a burnt out backhouse, not doing as he so claimed.

Her anger mounted as he set the candles, she watched him light them, then open a portal. Though she was not stupid, she listened to the conversation...

"Zargon..."

"Any information on him?"

"Ahhh... No not really... Honestly he's a very secretive person... "

"Find out more."

"Edict i don't think that's a very good-No, no, no!! I can find out more!! I can! "

"Good."

The branded Rune on her hand burned, arming her left hand with her brass knuckles, she would wait to reach for her Kansa. For Jade wanted answers...and finding answers, was what she did best. Rushing forward just as he was exiting the restroom, bag in hand, she was already close range as her arm charged to an eerie ultraviolet glow as she executed a well placed blow to his abdomen with her left hand.

"GIVE ME YOUR NAME" It was apparent that Jade was now not so calm, her mind warped by thoughts of the past, as well as a well played 'act' of Victory in order to gain their trust. By learning a demons true name, it gave power over its holder and she planned on catching him this time. "Don't you dare attempt to lie, your betrayal was more then apparent to me when you opened that portal. Her mind warped by fear, and severely pissed off, Jade grabbed her Kansa and readied for his return attack.

"Its not broken...Ill be fine..." said the lady, before following Edict towards the outhouse. Tirarrian remained persistent. "Lady, even if your arm isn't broken, you need more than a salve. I'll have to bandage it to prevent infection." Try as she might, the Gnome wasn't even heard by the lady. Tirarrian knew that such determination was obviously warranted by something she found suspicious. She looked back at the Dwarf, "Uuh..." she fumbled for words, "Just, follow me for a second."

The lady looked inside for a while, and Tirarrian stayed quiet. Shortly after an otherworldly voice could be heard. The company were deathly silent, though it didn't take much to be able to hear the conversation taking place.

"Zargon..."

"Any information on him?"

"Ahhh... No not really... Honestly he's a very secretive person... "

"Find out more."

"Edict i don't think that's a very good-No, no, no!! I can find out more!! I can! "

"Good."

As soon as the business was concluded the lady flew into action. Tirarrian barely blinked before arming herself with her blade and strapping a glowing hand. She charged Edict as he left the building, and her hand responded to the movement by glowing a more piercing violet, before slamming into the taller man's chest.

"GIVE ME YOUR NAME" she shouted, her voice dripping with emotion, anger and terror. "Don't you dare attempt to lie, your betrayal was more then apparent to me when you opened that portal." she readied her blade into a guard pose, ready for a fight with Edict.

Had Edict opened a portal in the outhouse? To where? And why the toilet of all places? Tirarrian thought quizically. She stepped back, preparing to draw her blade, before addressing Edict. "What just happened, Edict?"
