Actually Mangy could at some point accidentally consume the blood of darkspawn and end up as a gray warden hound.

I have a headcanon that Mangy is the second smartest party member(Etta's got claims on that title) so having him sense darkspawn and warn others of danger would be right up his ally.

Could actually have him start barking at grey wardens if they get too close to Martin or Karras because Mangy cares about his allies.

I'm deliberately holding back on posting for now, as Freddy pointed out Etta's the support role in this group so would most likely let the others take point.

Actually, scratch that. She'd most likely get distracted by the carvings around the entrance and then sit for three hours designing a new type of microscope to analysis them in more detail before realising the sun had set and it was too dark to see anything anyway.

Well... there's a difference between 'smart' and 'clever'. Etta's probably the cleverest by a good margin, but 'smart'? No, no I don't think so.

How many minutes was that before 'Etta found something she could potentially blow up? Or are we talking seconds here?

On the other hand, would the team let her capture some undying veilfire to craft into some sort of flamethrower weapon, which definitely wouldn't lose containment and kill them all in a glorious green conflagration while travelling through the Deep Roads.

Well, probably wouldn't.

I'm 80... 70% sure it wouldn't. Possibly.

Definitely more than 60% sure, I'm certain of that.
