Username here is Tsukune, but I'm mostly known as Tsubasa in other parts of cyberspace. You may call me Tsu.

High-casual to advanced roleplayer who has about 3-4 years of experience on/off. Before RPing I have some decent writing skills honed from writing fanfics and original novels alike.
I can do mid-casual on request; or if I'm having writer's block.

I have played male and female characters before - so far no one has any major issues with how I portray the two sexes, I can safely say I'm able to play both genders. Also, I have zero interest in your real gender - all I care about is your character(s)' gender as long as you can play your characters well, gender doesn't really matter, right?

Paring wise, MxF for romantic relationship; platonic for MxM and FxF, only fluff or humor/teasing or one-sided crush (you play the character who likes mine but my character isn't returning the feelings) if you really want to go down the gutter because I can't play homo realistically.
I'm also fine with sibling-complexes, but let me know if you're uncomfortable with incest.

Currently only interested in 1x1 or small group (max foursome) RPs.

For fandoms I'll only play OCs. I don't want to be constantly paranoid about the possible danger of going out of character every time it's my turn to post something, and that anxiety will eventually kill all the excitement I originally had for the RP. Not that I'm not capable of playing canon characters, but it will be on a case-by-case basis.

English isn't my first language but I do make efforts to proofread my posts, even backdated ones. Please pardon the occasional typos if I missed them out during the editing.

Posting frequency: my schedule is pretty erratic, so about 1-2 posts per week; do expect longer delays if my real life decides to torture me more than it should. If you see me online often, that's because I'm on the phone checking PMs and OOCs. I'm not going to - and I will never - type out an entire IC on a damned mobile.
My timezone is GMT +8, so if I'm not online I'm most likely in bed - or if I have last-minute deadlines, I'll be at the workspace battlefield.

I'm a sucker for humor - from silly puns to dark sarcasm, so feel free to strike up random chats with me in the OOCs or PMs. I mean, RPing is supposed to be fun, right? It's boring if the OOC is as business-like and serious as *insert anything you can think of here* RL...

What I'm Looking for in My Partner [+]

I'll only roleplay through threads - most preferred because it's more organized - plus in the past when I tried using PMs it's a total mess. Strictly no IMs such as Skype, etc.

I don't ask for - and I don't need to know - your true age. To me, the numerical value of your age isn't a definite indicator of your maturity level: a 12-year-old who can take constructive criticism with grace and gratitude is definitely more mature than a 30-year-old who bites back with egoistic bitterness.
I have no problems with violence/gore and profanity, but nothing over the top like having the character to swear at practically everyone and everything every single time. However, I'm not fond of sex - no I'm not squeamish about it and I am already of age, but I see this as fan service and serves very little to no purpose in plot and character development. If there is really a serious need to go that far, fade to black - this is non-negotiable.

What you give me is what I'll give you - I don't need you to return my 6-paragraph post with the same length, but at least I expect you to write a decent IC with enough information for me to work on my next post. Of course, if you're those who can write like a book I'll welcome you with a big hug! If needed, do be prepared to do lots of collaborative writing. I do not entertain one-liners and chatspeak.

I'm not a language Nazi - everyone makes mistakes - but that doesn't mean you can dump me with horrendous writing so bad that it can burn my eyes, or simply look like random gibberish to me. I do not appreciate wasting my precious time trying to decipher your wall of typos when it's your job to clean that up. I like roleplayers who are meticulous and take pride in their own writing; if you feel that I'm being overly demanding with regards to this, then I'm sorry to say I'm not a suitable candidate to roleplay with you.

Contribute and communicate - it takes two hands to clap. I know my brain can be wacky enough to cook up all sorts of weird plot ideas, but I don't want the RP to be a one-person show. I'm hoping to have long-term partners to collaborate with not just one, but many more future projects together.
It's very important to iron out any misunderstandings before they snowball to something disastrous - the last thing I need is a nasty fallout and part ways with a sour aftertaste.

I don't expect speedy responses from you - we all have a real life to deal with, like it or not, and I myself am snail-slow at replying - but if you're kind enough to pop me a message if you're going to be away battling against reality, I'll also do the same to you. If you disappear for more than a month, I shall assume that you're no longer interested in the RP and I reserve the rights to reboot my plot ideas with other players instead.

For 1x1s, please be comfortable to do doubling (max 2 characters for each of us) and be prepared for an army of NPCs to help push the RP forward.

In the near future, humans are able to go to and fro freely between reality and cyberspace. As such, the governments have viewed the cyberspace as a parallel world to reality, seeking ways to extend their political control over what people conceived as 'freedom of the internet'. One of such nations has taken this to the extreme - the leader is a feminist/misogynist, who implemented a spherical boundary called SPHIRE within its borders to split the males and females of the population apart, ruling them with an iron fist. One of the genders is locked up in cyberspace, while the other is stuck in reality. The gender that is sectioned off in cyberspace will act as avatar for those in reality, to participate in an underground PvP tournament, where the victor may have the chance to become the new leader of this nation.

Our characters are unlikely partners who have to work together to rise to the top of the harsh matches, or else only a terrible end awaits them: the avatar becoming mindless data that will lose itself in the vastness of the virtual network, the human left with a live body but dead mind.

We can decide the gender to stay in reality (the other will automatically be for cyberspace) and also the role of our characters (player or avatar) through OOC/PM discussions.

Additional Notes [+]

• Simply put, the one in reality is the 'player' who do the controlling/commanding, while those in cyberspace is the avatar or 'playing character' who do the actual fighting.
• Since the 'sphere' is a device that is used to convert human bioprint into transferable data and thus possible to seal people off in cyberspace, it can be countered with an anti-device/virus file or whatever we can come up with, which can be obtained from winning the tournament. Once SPHIRE is rendered useless, expect the people to reunite as one and start a revolution to get rid of the tyrant for good, to fight for the freedom they rightfully deserved.
