"Its origin was that of a Greater Daemon." Adrianne stated. She paused to give Zhevon time to think. "I do not know its exact origin, but if I am to guess, I would suspect it to be a Keeper of Secrets, a Greater Daemon affiliated with Slaanesh. Hiding on a garden world is typical of their kind. We are going to need some heavy weapons and support if we are to deal with a Greater Daemon." She continued as they reached the elevator. "But I'm sure you already knew that." She quickly added.

Zhevon rubbed the bottom half of his faceplate and let out an "Mmm" of agreement, "I'll have to make some calls before I come to a decision on what to do about our problem." He replied. His mind went to several of his friends who were sure to help, if they could reach the planet in time. His train of thought was broken by their resident Sister of Battle, Aviza. She approached them and confronted Adrianne about the big problem. Zhevon inhaled to reply, but Stukov was quicker. He added his own thoughts to the confrontation, thoughts that Zhevon found himself agreeing with. Adrianne was then next to speak. Zhevon rubbed the back of his neck as he found no comfortable place for him to enter the conversation.

Soon they reached the ground floor and Aviza was the first one out and the first one into the truck. Zhevon waited a second just to be sure that nobody else had something to say. "Well." He began, letting out a long exhale, "Cults have been known to summon Greater Daemons to expand their influence on the world, eventually launching an invasion, and conquering the world easily once all their pieces are in place. If they plan to do that, we'll have some time still. I'll be sending some messages before I decide on what to do about it. For now, we will progress as usual." He said, taking his leave of the elevator and walking towards the truck. Once everyone had gotten in, Bravo began to drive, switching on the sirens to ensure a quick trip.

Ben watched as the psyker told the Inquistor something private. He didn't really concern himself with it. But the sister was upset, and raised her weapon. Ben put his hand to his rifle, but didn't move, not sure what was going on. Ben rubbed his chin with his real hand, feeling stubble through his gloves.

He was growing tired of the Sister. That's when the psyker told them about the bloodthirster. Ben's stomach seized up, but hearing about a deamon was easier than dealing with one. A problem for the future, and he repressed any fear.

When the elevator arrived, Ben stepped in with the group. He followed the group out and watched the sister isolate herself again. Ben followed her into the truck, and looked at her. He pointed. "You. I need to talk to you right in private. Now." He said. He didn't know about the music, but he wagged his finger at her when he had her attention to convey his intent.

When the two were alone. Ben spoke before she could say anything. "You need to check your pride at the door. You are the newcomer here, not us. I don't need your stories, or your opinions. I need your gun." Ben spoke with the authority that had sent soldiers to their deaths at the hands of Orks. He continued. "We are not you. Do you understand that?" Ben asked, but the question was rhetorical. "There are things that soldiers need to know, and do not need to know. And the presence of a demon is not one of them. My mission is to help the Inquisitor. He determines what we need to know and do not need to know. And you need not undermine his authority any more." Ben paused. He produced an Inquisitorial rosette from his pocket. "Last I checked, this is the badge of the highest ranking Imperial office, appointed to enact the very will of the Emperor himself. Do you have one of these? Sister of the order Bloody rose? No, I thought not. Do I make myself clear? This is a yes or no question." Ben finished with, his face calm and blank, his red monocle of an eye reflecting Aviza's own visage back at her.

If Aviza said anything to the Veteran other than Yes or no, he would ignore her and look at the large Red and black I in his hand, and back up at her. Once she was done, he would put the Rosette back in his pocket, and climb into the passenger seat of the truck, and smile to Bravo. "Ever heard of Armageddon? I feel more comfortable in the front of anything with wheels or treads."

Bravo and Ben made small talk about vehicles, half tracks, tanks, and artillery pieces and the things they did as they drove rapidly through the city.

The brothel could be seen for blocks. Or the aftermath of it. The fire illuminated the sky and the black column of smoke stretched off into the sky reaching for the heavens. The black smoke was underlit by the fire, but once the light faded it blended seamlessly into a sky with no stars. Once within a few blocks, Bravo turned off the sirens, and a dull roar could be heard.

The mob was loud, raucous, rambunctious. The arbiters were issuing demands. When Bravo pulled up and parked, Ben looked over at the mass of bodies. There was a wall of shields between the Arbiters and the mob. There was a woman on a truck yelling at the mob, rising from the masses. The view was impressive, backlit by a roaring fire, the mob was very intimidating.

The arrival of the truck would prove to be the straw that broke the camel's back. Ben brought his wrist up to his mouth, pressing the key in his glove, keying up his mic. "Alright, maybe a peacefu-" The mob fired, and the woman screamed. The mob charged the Arbiter wall. A few broke, but the majority stood. Potshots bounced off the truck, making loud 'pings'.

Ben sighed. "New plan. Pick targets, there are a lot out there. Try to only fire when fired upon. Looks like one of your friends is out there, sister. We need to get in that building." Ben opened the door of the truck and stepped out, raising his weapon to his shoulder and firing single flashes of red light at the mob, picking ones with firearms as his targets. Hopefully the Arbiters recognized the squad as friendlies.

The sister's behavior seemed to continue to confuse Adrianne, what with the sister appearing to switch between pie-baking housemother type for one moment, and then suddenly to a overly entitled bigot in the next.

At Aviza's comment about maintaining appearance, Adrianne would not give her a verbal reply; instead merely shaking her helmet disappointingly at the sister in her seat before she was about to enter the truck, only to be cut off by Ben as the man raced to ride shotgun in the front seat with Bravo before she could even reach for the doorhandle!

Despite the lesser drama in the parking lot as they exited the building, the rest of the ride went smoothly. Adrianne, having had to find one of the back seats, kept quiet for most of the ride until they arrived at the district with the burning brothel.

Stepping out of the truck and onto the street was almost like stepping into another world entirely, one that of chaos and disorder. There was currently a large pushing match going on between the local arbites and the mob, alongside random shots and rocks coming from the crowd, only to be returned by various fire from the arbites, including everything from water hoses and riot pellets to powerful shotgun blasts! She could see some of the members of the mob drag away some of their bleeding, wounded and unconscious comrades from the makeshift frontline between the arbites and mob as the fighting continued to rage on!

The air was filled with shouts, shots, banging and the sound of crashing glass, as well as the crackling of fire as the brothel fire threatened to spread to the rest of the buildings and had already consumed a small surrounding garden.

"And here I thought riots were only for hive planets."

Adrianne thought to herself as she held her staff up next to her, her servo-skull hovering out of the back of the truck to float next to her as she gazed out across the chaos in front of them.

Ben had wasted no time in unleashing blasts against suspected gunmen in the crowd. Adrianne choose to watch him for a moment, before shifting her gaze to the amorpheous crowd which seemed to shift back and forth in the street. It would truly be impossible to detect a lone handgun in the crowd before it was pointed directly at you, as in all the chaos and flames it was almost impossible to distinguish a small pipe from a thin handgun or submachinegun.

Most of the rioting citizens seemed to be too focused on the main line of arbites to really notice them by the truck. Yet Adrianne would detect a group of four individuals drawing precariously close to their position.

Two of them carried lead pipes and rods, another a molotov cocktail whilst the fourth was an unarmed woman. Although they approached at a slow pace and she could see no real weapons on them, Adrianne decided to raise her hand up in front of her, before flicking it to the side. With that single motion, an invisible wave of force would suddenly grab the four dissidents, and throw them through the air and back into the crowd with a series of surprised and scared shrieks!

"It appears the mob is blocking our path to the brothel." Adrianne would note as Zhevon stepped out of the armored truck behind her, the Psyker motioning towards the shifting sea of rioters across the streets between them and the burning brothel.

"Waiting on the local arbites to solve this is out of the question. By the time they will have culled the mob, there'll be nothing left of the building but burning cinder and ash. If we're going to get there in time to find anything whatsoever before the fire claims it, we'll have to either fight our way through the crowd or find an alternate route."

Adrianne would speak through her helmet to the rest of the group which was still at the truck.

Gazing out across the riot in the street before them, Adrianne would let out a sigh. She was an advisor and protector, and did not have any real experience with any law enforcement unit. Though her experience might be limited, she knew enough that crowds generally had two ways of reacting to violence, depending on their level of zealousness. Either they would get scared and scatter at the first sign of bloody struggle, or it would embolden the crowd and spin them into an enraged frenzy!

Either way, a direct approach would include a bit of gamble.

Yet the thought of attacking the crowd left her at unease. Wasn't their very purpose on this planet to protect these people? To attack the very people they were here to protect from daemonic intent or corruption seemed almost bizarre to the psyker.

After taking off her helmet and placing it upon her lap, Aviza gave Ben a disdainful look and completely ignored him, not replying to his question. Ben thankfully ignored Aviza and moved to the front of the truck, stealing shotgun away from Adrianne. The Sister of Battles blue eyes moved back to Adrianne and stared at her for a moment before she placed her helmet back onto her head and locked it into place. Moving to the back of the truck where she could see more, Aviza grabbed onto the metal handlebar above her and stood up, watching all the buildings, shops, and the such pass them. The smell of smoke and burning debris could reach her senses and a long trail of smoke could be seen in the distance. Soon that smoke turned into a glowing inferno that licked the other buildings nearby, threatening to spread its cleansing flames further.

The sounds of disorder and pandemonium could easily be heard from a distance away, and only grew in strength as they approached the mass of people. Once the truck stopped, Aviza jumped out the back of it and landed gracefully upon the ground below her. The mobs of people were on the edge of violence and this pool of gasoline was about to have a match tossed onto it. A group of Arbiters were yelling commands at everyone within the mob which only seemed to piss off everyone even more. Right in the middle of the Mob was another Adeptus Sororitas, and Aviza was quite pleased to see her. “Celestian Lykinia, This is Celestian Andromedai on the north east of your current position. I am with a group of other soldiers and an Inquisitor. What is the current situation, why is this Brothel bathed in holy flame?” said Aviza as she spoke into her private com channel that only members of Adeptus Sororitas could access.

The reply was quick and to the point, “Impureists were located inside, below were chaos markings written in blood of those who were sacrificed. The signs are markings point to a Slanneshi cult Sister.” said Celestian Lykinia before jumping down from the top of the armored vehicle and walking running over to Andromedai. “The rioters will soon spill blood upon, I am leaving to report my findings to the rest of this worlds Adeptus Sororitas.” She paused and looked over at the Psycher then back to Aviza raising her rifle as a laser red dot showed up between Adriannes eyes. “Hold your fire Celestian Lykinia, Psycher Adrainne is assigned to the Inquisitor and no harm may come to her. Lower your weapon and deliver the information you have, it is much more important. ” Lykinia lowered her weapon and nodded her head once before she moved into the shadows of the streets, vanishing without a word or sound.

Aviza watched her motion tracker as the other Celestian moved incredibly quickly towards the planets Adeptus Sororitas cathedral. Turning her attention back to the mob not far from where she stood, a gunshot irrupted into the night and true disorder and chaos filled the streets. Taking a knee, Aviza flipped on her scope and started to take careful shots at all those she could find that shot at the Arbiters. Some of them turned to fire at Aviza due to the moment of mass chaos and confusion. A couple rounds flew past Aviza and in return she fired back at those who tried to wound or kill her. Speaking into her public com, she tried to calm some of them down, since it appeared her fellow sister played a hand in starting the mess. “This is Celestian Aviza, I am ordering the civilians to stand down and disperse before more lives are lost, this is your one and only warning."

"Arbiters are not the enemy here, the impure establishments like the Brothel is, stand down and return to your homes before more of the law arrives.”
Around fifteen percent of the mob seemed to be confused and looked at what was going on around them in horror and dismay before breaking off from the group and running away as quickly as they could. One of the Arbiters nodded at Aviza in thanks before he and the rest of his troops smacked their shock mauls on their shields to emphasize the law, and to make a point. Once they did though, the mob turned into ravaging crowed of madness that shot at everyone and everything alike. Aviza had seen enough, and it was time to make a point to the mob and to those who were impure. The custom chainsword revved with an ominous sound as Aviza said these words under her breath. “May the Emperor have mercy upon your misbegotten souls, for I will not.”

The sound of her electrically charged chainsword in full rotation lasted for a while as it cut through any hostile that engaged her, which unfortunately was quite a few by the grotesque sounds and screams that were mixed into the chaos. By the time her chainsword stopped, she was at the line of Arbitors covered in quite a bit of blood. “I am Celestian Aviza and you will make way immediately, I have an Inquisitor in tow with a Psycher as well and couple others who need access to this area." The Arbiter quickly moved out of the way and carefully let Aviza through, keeping an eye out for the rest of her squad so that they may also move freely past the line. “I have reached the other side and am currently waiting for you to join me in front of the burning brothel. Follow the path of death and slaughter to find the Arbiter who will let you through.”

Aviza walked towards the Brothel, taking a seat outside of it and watching it burn as if it were a bonfire. A look of amusement was spread across her face that was hidden under her helmet. The rioters were trying to do something with the heavily armored vehicle that Celestian Lykinia had been standing on top of, Aviza had noticed it but at this time it was of no concern, as long as her squad hurried. In the next couple of seconds, a radiant mushroom of intense heat, mass amounts of fire and black smoke arose from where the vehicle once stood. The shockwave was so strong it almost knocked Aviza off of her feet but she quickly regained her balance. As the flaming dust and debris fell all around her a small bit of concern crossed her mind, "Everyone out there alright? I want to hear from each of you, not sure if the rioters did that or what happened."

Zhevon grimaced as he heard the sounds of a riot as they neared the Brothel, that made investigating the place a lot more difficult.
"Alright, maybe a peacefu-" Ben began, cut short the the sounds of gunfire hitting the armor of the truck. "New plan. Pick targets, there are a lot out there. Try to only fire when fired upon. Looks like one of your friends is out there, sister. We need to get in that building." He was quick to getting out and picking off the rioters with firearms.
Next out was Adrianne. Zhevon made his way out the door as well, thinking that Ben would make a good second in command.
"It appears the mob is blocking our path to the brothel." Adrianne stated.

Zhevon hopped out, noting that Aviza had already begun to address the mob. She only managed to dissuade a small portion of the mob though, before they attempted to shoot at her. Zhevon let out a quiet "Oh" as she revved her chainsword and began to cut a path out of the mass of people. He quickly looked to the rest of his team.
“I have reached the other side and am currently waiting for you to join me in front of the burning brothel. Follow the path of death and slaughter to find the Arbiter who will let you through.” Aviza said through the vox.
"Yep, that just happened. We're going to follow that path, stay close and don't stray. What Duren said, don't fire unless fired upon. Let's go!" Zhevon yelled over the mob, he turned towards the mob and took his first step before an armored vehicle exploded with great force, throwing Zhevon off balance and to the ground.
"Everyone out there alright? I want to hear from each of you, not sure if the rioters did that or what happened." Aviza spoke again through the vox.
Zhevon coughed and grunted, "I'm good." He reported, he looked behind him to check if the rest of his team was okay, then he got up, "Okay now let's go!" He began to run through the path that Aviza had made. Once he had made it to the Arbite line, the Arbite opened up the shield wall. Zhevon stood just outside of the shield wall, ensuring that his entire team would go through before he did.

He clicked open his vox to the team, "Once we're all through, me and Velenthin will go into the brothel and comb the place for intel. We'll need one volunteer, everyone else will stay with the arbites and make sure that the line is not broken. I don't want us to walk out of the place surrounded by angry rioters."

Adrianne followed a little bit behind Inquisitor Zhevon, walking next to Stukov and Ben as they made their way through the street which at that point looked more like a warzone!

Though while Stukov and Ben seemed preoccupied with scanning the crowd for potential shooters, their weapons aimed and primed, Adrianne walked casually between them and carrying her staff at her side, merely glancing in the direction of Aviza. She couldn't actually see the sister anymore, but the grizzly sound of a chainsaw brutally chewing through flesh and bone alike, as well as the accompanying horrified screams, made it quite obvious where the sister was!

"A pious, zealous warrior cutting down a crowd of pious, zealous rioters. There's a bit of irony in there somewhere."

Adrianne thought to herself as she listened to the violence. Yet as she watched the general direction of Aviza through the rowdy crowd, an image of a giant, expanding fireball suddenly flashed before her eyes. A second of confusion, before her gaze fell upon the armored truck parked ahead in the open.

"Inquisitor, watch ou,-"

*BOOM!*

Adrianne screamed through her helmet, extending her left arm out in front of her. Yet it was too late, as the armored vehicle just burst out in flames as it erupted in a violent explosion! A destructive shockwave flew out from the center of the explosion, knocking arbites and rioters alike down!
Yet before the wave could reach them, a glimmering, purple barrier of psychic energies would expand out from Adrianne's left hand to form a shield in front of Ben, Stukov and her. The shockwave roared into them, but the wave, alongside flames and smoke would deflect right off the barrier erected by the psyker, instead flowing past them on either side and leaving the three completely unscathed!

As the wave passed, Adrianne would waste no time in abandoning it before rushing over to the Inquisitor whom she had been unable to shield.

"Are you all right, Inquisitor?"

Fortunately the Inquisitor seemed to be as stern as he was stubborn, having taken no real damage from the explosion; at least on the surface. And hopefully wouldn't start coughing blood!

"Once we're all through, me and Velenthin will go into the brothel and comb the place for intel. We'll need one volunteer... "

Walking past the formation of shields set up by the arbites, Adrianne would turn to look back at Zhevon and comment.

" ... preferably one with a fire-extinguisher." Adrianne would add, tossing the burning building an odd look.

As Malek looked up from his work, guiding the other adepts in their works he noticed the feed from his servo skulls. He noticed the Inquisitor’s party seemed to be in the middle of a pitched battle between rioters and arbites. “How did…nevermind. Adepts, finish your assigned task and return to regular duties, I must leave”.

Malek made his way to the vehical bays and approached one of the engineseers there. “I require a fully equipped valkyrie in the next five minutes.”

“By the Omnissiah I don’t know who you people think you are to believe you can take such…”

Malek turned and bowed slightly to better show the Techsorcist sigil on the shoulder of his massive robe.

“Oh… of course. Bay delta four oh seven.”

“My thanks Engineseer.” Malek’s steel shod feet echoed their way down the hanger toward the aforementioned bay.

“Damn black hoods” the enginseer muttered once he thought Malek was out of earshot.

In bay delta four oh seven sat a crimson valkyrie with servitors detaching fuel lines and an adept finishing the pre-flights. Wordlessly entering the hold Malek stowed his autocannon in one of the seats and proceeded to the cockpit. Rolling the seat back as far as it would go he knelt in the gangway and connected his MIU to the machine to commune directly with the machine spirit. Finding the aggressive spirit satisfied with its condition the bay’s klaxon sounded and red lights span as the great bay doors opened.

The powerful Imperial engines flared and hurtled the shuttle from its moorings into the hive proper. Tearing through the airways between the sparkling spires an enforcer land speeder started to pursue before thinking better of examining what a speeding mechanicus valkyrie was doing loaded for bear.

The machine responded well as is to be expected of the immaculately maintained standards of the mechanicus. The Dual twin linked bolter turrets tracked targets with little prompting and the rocket pods showed a full complement. It would serve. The speed and expediency of flight brought the craft to the inferno with great haste. It seems an armoured vehicle had joined the fate of the brothel and the rioters were fully out of hand.

Descending to a hight only a few stories above the street Malek strafed the rioters with the wash from the valkyrie’s engines scattered and broke the cohesion of the mob. The powerful buffeting forced the crowd into smaller groups that would either soon run or be apprehended by the nearby arbite line. Even now they broke into squads to crush the few remaining belligerents into submission as they are so well trained to do.

Having cleared the necessary space to land the valkyrie comes to rest in the street outside the burning building casting a storm of detritus and dust around it. Ordering the hold’s door to descend he disconnects from the machine commending it for its true service. Walking down the gangway Malek emerged from the hold to survey the scene.

Noticing the Inquisitor Malek approached “I am Techsorcist Malek, my superiors have commanded me to lend you my assistance in any way you see fit”. At this Malek pulled the robe from his bulky frame revealing his armor plated exterior and mechadendrites. “I believe you expressed interest in gaining entry to this building?”

Eisenhorn Inquisitor of some Note

A lot was happening in a very short time span, business as usual it seemed. He hated large groups like this, part of the job as an Armsman that never went well. The massive crush of a boarding party and counter party crashing into each other, a mess of melee, weapons fire, and general chaos that rarely ended well for any party involved. Training his autogun, he made careful sweeps, only taking aim on people who were firing onto the Inquisitor or his retinue directly. No sense wasting ammo thinning a mob he really couldn't do much to scatter with a single automatic weapon. The Sister and her fellow compatriot had fell into talking, Stukov would guess despite the complete lack of sound, and with the other sister raising a bolter on Smiles, his weapon was trained in kind. You don't threaten Stukov's allies, near regardless of the situation, and this Sister had no place to lay judgement on an Inquisitorial retinue member. Thankfully, she lowered her bolter and Stukov had his autogun also lowered. Now was a bad time to be pointing weapons at the retinue, to say the least. With that, Sis lead them in a bloody path off towards the burning brothel, an explosion promptly throwing the group off their footing.

Stukov cursed, the sounds lost in the din of violence as he caught up to the regrouping retinue and made his brief report. "I yet live, for good or ill." The man was unable to trace who caused that explosion, which was not making things any easier for the group. As plans were made, and Gear Boy made his appearance, as Stukov was going to call the Techsorcist, he snorted and brushed himself off and looked towards the burning building. "I'll head in as well, natural experience in close quarters, abnormal circumstances like that. Unless you need me out here, that is."

Burning debris and smoldering ash fell from above, twisting and turning among the blackened star lit sky like crimson amber fireflies, waiting to land upon another building and spread its destructive but purifying flames further into the city. Aviza glanced up into the sky and watched these flaming fragments slowly float down, admiring how beautiful destruction could be at times. “Make way!” one of the Arbiters yelled from behind her at the defense line they had managed to hold without moving even the slightest minuscule amount. One of the Arbiters quickly stepped aside though to let Inquisitor Zhevon and the rest of the squad through. Once the squad had managed to walk through their one opening, the Arbiter quickly filled the gap once more and stood with his fellow brothers against the rioters.

Aviza walked over to the squad and looked over them quickly before nodding her head once in approval. “I am glad to see all of you are still alive after that explosion. I am unsure who had a weapon or device of the strength needed to destroy or even damage the vehicle but it is something we may want to look into later.” Turning her back to her squad once more, she walked over to the burning brothel and glanced inside of it while staying at a safe distance away from the flames that threatened to spread to the rest of the city. The mention of searching the brothel while the fires inside of it where hot enough to melt steel made Aviza consider how it could be done, since they had no way of putting out the fire for the time being.

“Adrianne, could any of your warp abilities assist us with this fire? We do not want to go in there with those flames. I am getting a reading that the inside temperature of the building is currently two thousand five hundred degrees Fahrenheit or one thousand three hundred degrees Celsius. You will melt, in every meaning of the word. As much as I love barbeque I do not want any of my squad mates being cooked inside of a metal shell that is melting.” Aviza took a couple more steps back to evaluate the situation and get a better view of everything around her when the all too familiar sound of a Valkyrie in the distance. The back of the ships engines glowed a soft red from the extensive heat and power that passed through them. At first, it appeared as if the rioters were about to get strafed by the ship but it merely buzzed them with the engines generating a loud roar that echoed through the city.

“I love the sound of those engines.” said Aviza mere seconds before noticing she had just spoken out loud and into her com for the whole squad to hear. The Valkyrie flew towards them then landed upon the road beneath it gracefully. As the ships engines powered down with a loud hissing sound, Aviza glanced back at her squad then back to the ship, waiting for whoever flew it to approach them. The back of the ship opened exposing the holding bay before a Techsorcist appeared, walking down platform that had emerged from the back of the ship. “Greetings Tecchsorcist Malek, I am Celestian Aviza Norea of the Ebon Rose. Your rare skills and talents will be greatly appreciated and needed here.”

The Sister of Battle glanced over at the fire then back at the ship with an idea, the engines from the ship could be used to put out the fires if they were handled well and it was executed correctly. “The engines from the Valkyrie could be used to help put out the fire. If we pump enough air through them and onto the fire fast enough the movement of the air across the wood or flammable surface will remove the heat from the flame. This prevents the wood or flammable surface from reaching the temperature it needs to be at to burn and will put out the fire.” There was a short awkward pause before she spoke once more, “Stukov, do you think you could handle controlling the engines air thrusters while I yell commands at you about what to do from outside of the ship?”

Malek turned to the sister, cybernetic eyes passing over the squad. The HUD contained within locking to equipment and presenting pattern and mark for analysis as standard. “Greetings Celestian, I had considered such a plan but was concerned that the engines may only exacerbate or spread the fire to nearby buildings. If you believe it can be done however you are quite welcome to try. Though shouting will be unnecessary. I have taken the liberty of re-encrypting your communications channel to prevent access to the back door I used to listen in. Those of you without Theta rank comm beads will find some in the hold of the valkyrie.”

He continued on with the flames flickering across his near featureless head seeming to make his eye lenses glow amongst the olive drab of the surrounding steel. “I have the mass required to move though the building despite the power of the turbines furthermore I am equipped with servo arms that can easily clear blockages and a repair mechadendrite containing a small extinguisher. Furthermore I have nothing to fear from smoke inhalation or even a lack of oxygen. If the valkyrie can suppress the worst of the blaze I can weather the rest. There should also be a fire extinguisher in the Valkyrie’s hold.”

“Regardless of how we go about it, our actions should be swift lest our goal be consumed.”

At this the Tech Priest approached the building seeming not to feel the flames on the exterior of the building. Standing to one side of the door his right servo arm pushed the nearest door off its ailing hinges. Once the back blast had raced past he manipulated two fallen beams to prop the doorway open.

“Adrianne, could any of your warp abilities assist us with this fire?"

Adrianne peered up at the building in front of them. Like most imperial architecture, its foundations was made out of thick, heavy stone or concrete slabs, making the building's frame very resilient and likely to last through the fire. The fuel for the fire would mostly be the added furniture and decorations to the otherwise stone building, not to mention the corpses still inside...

"I can deal with the fires, but depending on the integrity of the building, my powers could also cause a collapse, and we don't want that." Adrianne spoke as she considered trying to create shockwaves, artificial winds or pockets of zero oxygon to quell the flames. But she had no idea how old or resilient the individual parts of the building was, and the last thing she wanted was to bring a burning building down onto herself by accident!
"This building is mostly made out of concrete however. We might still be able to find ways that are not consumed by the fires yet."

Yet the sudden arrival of a valkyrie, and a massive, hulking Techsorcist who introduced himself as Malek would soon demand Adrianne's attention.

"How many more tricks does Zhevon have up his sleeve?"

Adrianne wondered as she looked at the newcomer, who looked much more akin to that of a walking tank than any normal person. Although Adrianne would refrain from interrupting the conversation between Aviza and Malek, the moment he mentioned there were fire extinguishers in the valkyrie, the psyker would already be on her way to get them.
Reemerging from the belly of the valkyrie, Adrianne would be walking out of the aircraft with three red fire extinguishers hovering in the air around her, manipulated and held aloft by her psychic powers.

Walking up to Malek as the techsorcist worked on clearing the door, Adrianne would keep a minimum safe distance from him as he worked, treating their new hulking ally much like she would any heavy, moving machinery.
She was not concerned about the noxious fumes or smoke coming from the building, as her suit could withstand even the vacuum of space. It even offered a level of protection against the elements, including flames, yet that did still not leave her able to simply stand in a fire!

“Regardless of how we go about it, our actions should be swift lest our goal be consumed.”

"I agree, Techsorcist Malek. I will deal with the flames." Adrianne spoke, and with the flick of her hand, the three hovering fire extinguishers would float past her and into the doorway. With a simple manipulation, she would make the fire extinguishers target and often work together on each individual source of fire, easily fulfilling the same role as what'd otherwise require three coordinated firemen. And, unlike a normal user, Adrianne had no concern about going really close to the flames with her extinguishers, being able to manipulate them safely from afar.

In short order, she would systematically extinguish all the major fires in the entrance corridor.

"I doubt these fire extinguishers will have enough capacity to douse the entire building, but it should be enough for us to do a quick search."

She spoke as she walked past Malek and entered the building, walking over ash, burnt bodies and chemical sludge left by the extinguishers, before looking back at Malek; her fire extinguishers continuing to work on the flames in the background.

"Your timing was perfect, Malek."

Once his team had gotten through, Zhevon stepped through as well. The Arbite who had opened the wall up for them instantly closed the gap, letting none of the rioters to exploit the gap. Checking the brothel out, he admitted that it was clearly more on fire than he had previously thought. Adrianne added a comment that was on the same train of thought that he was on, a fire extinguisher would be preferable. As if on cue, a Valkyrie Gunship appeared, flying low and dispersing the riot, with the Arbite shield wall splitting into squads to chase down and arrest any who stayed.
Once the gunship had landed, a single figure stepped off of it.
“I am Techsorcist Malek, my superiors have commanded me to lend you my assistance in any way you see fit. I believe you expressed interest in gaining entry to this building?” The walking tank introduced himself.
"Ah, good." Zhevon said, like he had expected Malek's arrival. As Aviza began to plan with Malek and Adrianne, Zhevon took the time to contact a few friends about their problem. Once he had finished, he opened a channel to Bravo, who was out of breath. He'd apparently joined the shield wall and was in one of the squads that had chased down the rioters. Once he turned his attention back to his team, Adrianne had taken imitative, grabbed the fire extinguishers and already begun to extinguish the fires in the main hallway. "Alright. If you don't want to go in, you don't have to, but I would like as many eyes as possible going through that place. Adrianne, if you could detect any chaos energies from any object, that would be nice." Zhevon stepped into the scorched hallway, avoiding bones and piles of foam. "If we have no direction let's start heading towards a basement or something, there's usually stuff hidden there." He peered through a door, revealing that the particular room was still on fire, "There'll be a squad of additional Arbites coming in to investigate that explosion, and a group of fire-fighters arriving in the next couple of minutes as well."

Ben pulled the trigger of his weapon. A soft sigh. He looked down, and the small display on the weapon was a weak 00. Bad ammo discipline. Awful. Commissars had killed men for less. A waste of time. He spent seconds trying to fire that he could have spent reloading and firing again.

Ben stepped up from the truck, his finger pressing the pack ejection button. As he strode forward at a brisk pace, he was drawing one of the jungle power packs from his shoulder slung bag. He slide it into the magazine well, and looked at the hud as it powered up.

Ben dropped to one knee and looked down, and brought his hand up to protect his forehead and face as the truck ripped apart in front of him. Ben followed the sister's bloody swath through the mob. He grabbed the wire stock of the lasweapon and folded it forward so it lay against the body of the rifle. Carbines. Mankind's greatest invention after the armored personnel carrier.

Once Ben made it through the arbite line, he took a moment to take a breath. He watched the Valkyrie descend and the techpriest step out. At this point, Ben wasn't surprised by what imperial servants joined them. He remained silent on the issue.

Ben stood by listening and watching as the squad members more capable of handling the issue at hand discussed it, and handled what they could. While doing so, Ben looked down at his leg and saw a small piece of metal sticking out. It had ripped the pants, and embedded itself in his metal leg. He reached down and yanked it out. He threw it on the ground as if nothing had happened, and looked at the group. If any had noticed he would just shrug at them.

When Zhevon mentioned that people were needed to search the building, Ben would board the valkyrie and search for a rebreather. His search would prove fruitful, and he would come down the gangplank adjusting it to his face. He took off the medical bag he had worn, and left it on the seat. He had also left behind the lasweapon. Excess straps that could catch something and cause his death.

Ben would take a deep breath, sounding like a wheezing to the others, while looking at them, his red bionic eye glowing like a jewel with the reflection of the fire. "Well. Lets crack on, shall we?" He asked, before striding towards the fire.

Echo

several Months ago

(Administratum Sanctum on the Planet Kuglyria Prime)
An Administratum adept sits at his logic engine typing in transfer requests for Adeptus Arbites in some unknown sector, he dutifully did his work knowing that realistically he was doing nothing but creating more paper work for the massive Administratum. he picks up a simple order requesting Arbites Echo Nurian to be tranfered to the inquisitorial routine of Zephon Ammoxia of the Ordo Xenos. he droped the order into the waste bin next to his desk and began writing out the order that would be sent to the Arbites precinct. 'Was it zevon.. zheph.. Zhevon Amoxa?' thought the adept to himself. He looks down at the paper in the waste bin and decides that it really doesn't matter that much, any error would be corrected eventually, errors happened all the time. he typed in the name of Zhevon Amoxa which automatically filled in, Of the Ordo Malleus. 'I thought it was for the Ordo Xenos.. oh well' thought the Adept again.

Several Weeks ago

(Precinct 8 on the planet Pieliv III)
Echo enters the precinct from the Arbites barracks ready to retrieve his equipment and begin his patrols of the slums of the hive. It wasn't a glorious job, but someone had to do it. His battle scarred Cyber Mastiff followed behind him observing everything with its auspex always scanning. As he made his way down to the armory his captain stopped him. "Echo! my office." Echo didn't like the sound of that, but he couldn't think of any reason the captain would want to see him. Echo steps into the office with the mastiff following at his heels. "What in the Emperor's name is this?" says the captain shoving the wax sealed envelope into Echo's hands. Echo looks down at the envelope confused. it bore the seal of the Ordo Malleus, he breaks the seal and starts to read through the paper. "Its a transfer order, I am to report to Zhevon Amoxa of the Inquisition immediately." the captain does not look happy at the news. "Echo, why would you want to join an inquisitorial routine again?" he says with a little disdain. whenever the inquisition came to a planet it generally meant very bad news for the Arbites, either purging the ranks of incompetence or whipping the populace into a panicked frenzy. Echo smirked at his commanders displeasure, "I didn't file this request if that's what your asking. But orders are orders, Ill clean out my locker."

The captain gave him leave to go and he walked down to the armory reading the orders more closely. he looked at the planet that was included with the orders, Freire II, he had heard about the planet. It was close by, only a couple weeks travel from Pieliv. he cleans out his locker easily, his only possessions where standard Arbites equipment, though lightly battered from years of use and repair and an outfit of civilian clothes that where rarely worn. he donned his Carapace armor and the great coat he always wore over it. the suppression shield he hooked to the Mastiff, he surely wasn't going to carry it if he didn't have to. the combat shotgun and power maul where slotted into their holsters. finally was his small copy of the Lecto Divinitatus, one he received from an Imperial guard trooper during the hellish battle on the Tomb World of Simia Orichalcae. He put the book in the inside breast pocket of the greatcoat. after a moment of inspection, he had everything and left to make his way to the space port and find a ship going to Friere II.

Now (ish)

Echo Left the Freighter hauling munitions or something to the planet of Friere II, his first goal was to find the Arbites Precinct, they would likely know where the Inquisitor was. He easily found the public transportation, while he rode the Mag-Tram to the Precinct he watched out the windows and realized how beautiful the planet was. 'So, this is what a garden world looks like.' Echo thought to himself. The train slows as it passes a beautiful statue to the Emperor outside of a massive temple which happened to be near the Precinct. the train stops and the passengers begin to depart, most of them giving him a wide berth to avoid being to close someone with the Arbites sigils on his armor. Echo stands and whistles sharply, the command for the Mastiff to follow him. he departs the train and makes his way to the precinct.

When Echo nears the Precinct he notices a commotion of Arbites climbing into several Chimera transports. An arbites officer sees him and yells, "Arbites! get over here, there is a riot!" Echo hears the officer yelling and takes off at a jog. when he arrives a few meters from the transport the officer yells at him again "Who are you?"
"Echo Nurian, Transfer to Inq-"
the officer cuts him off, "fine fine, get in. we have a riot to put down."

Echo climbs into the transport with the officer and mastiff right behind him, as soon as the door rune was activated closing the hatch the transport jumps to life. Echo makes reading, loading his combat shotgun and ensuring the power cells on his shield and maul where charged. a few minutes later the chimera halts and the officer touches the rune activating the hatch, Echo exits with the rest of the arbites heading to the shield wall, just as he reaches the wall he hears the unmistakable sound of a Valkyrie overhead, the crowd immediately disperse at the sight of the ship. Echo turns to see what is going on and sees the burning building and an Inquisitor. 'The Emperor has brought me here to do my duty.' thinks Echo marvalling at the unlikely events that brought him directly to the inquisitor. Echo breaks away from the group of Arbites and walks over to the Inquisitorial routine.

"Zhevon Amoxa, of the Ordo Malleus?" Says Echo, holding his transfer orders out "Echo Nurian Reporting" while Echo's face was almost entirely covered by his helmet and rebreather he notices the faint flash of confusion on the inquisitor's face.

Well, barring the sudden new arrivals, which included some mastiff handling Arbites and the mechanicus fellow. Techsorcerist, or whatever the gear head had introduced himself as, was just too much of a mouthful for Stukov to be able to really say, so gear head would suffice. Besides, knowing the Mechanicus, he wasn't wrong. They were more metal than flesh typically anyways. As for the Arbites fellow, well, the more raw manpower the better for when things hit the fan in a hurry, to put it mildly. Watchman had the right idea though, so he rapidly followed the veteran up into the transport, grabbing another, albeit different designed, rebreather for himself and came back down the gangway to the group, the new rebreather secured over his mouth and nose to allow him to breath easily in toxic environments again. Looking over the autogun in his hand, he calmly made sure his knife was affixed to the barrel, on the bayonet lug, before walking over to the burning building, seeming undisturbed by the idea of storming a burning building with weapons in hand, looking for something important before everything collapsed on them. Just like his line of work, really, go where the enemy doesn't want you, storm the place, complete the mission. Maybe get out alive if the Emperor was willing. "I'll take point, keep up folks. Especially you Smiles, you got the extinguishers."

Moving through the door, Stukov would move lower to the ground in an altered stance of sorts, helping avoid smoke closer to the ceiling while not compromising on his movement speed or ability to react to threats. Hostile environments, with possible threats around every corner, was par for the course to the armsman. What made daemon blessed, or outright daemonic, threats even worse? When raging fires and holes in reality made it harder to see, move, fight, or even keep living and functioning like a normal human should be. So Stukov would lead the way in search of a way down to the basement, as Boss had suggested, watching for trouble and waiting for the extinguishers as necessary. Not much to be said in a burning building, so the armsman kept his peace until it was necessary to speak.

As the team moved on towards the basement entrance, Zhevon entered a side room. While still aflame, he was confident his built in respirator and robes would keep him safe from the heat and smoke. He reached a few cogitators, likely used for accounting and messages. He opened them and quickly grabbed their datachips, some damaged, others fine. He hoped that Alpha would be able to gather some data from these chips. He then heard a new voice.
"Zhevon Amoxa, of the Ordo Malleus? Echo Nurian Reporting"
Zhevon stepped out of the side room, patting out some cinders that had gathered on his robes. There stood an Arbite, handing out some transfer papers. Zhevon took the papers and looked down at them, examining them. He rose an eyebrow, looking up at the Arbite, then at the papers. Then at his Mastiff behind him. Again at the papers. He tilted his head backwards and scratched it, the papers were official, legitimate. Yet he had not requested this Echo Nurian in his retinue. Did he? He folded the papers and handed it back to Echo.
"Arbite Nurian, I don't recall requesting you into my retinue." He cautiously said, "There must have been a mistake... Anyways, since you're already here, I might as well keep you." He decided, "Be wary, the Ordo Malleus is not for the feint of heart. We will face unimaginable creatures every hour of the day. And every other hour we will be running from unthinkable horrors every other hour." He explained, his voice grim and serious, "But for now we are walking through a flaming building searching for any bit of evidence that would aid us in the hunt against Heresy." He explained, his voice reverting back to its normal tone, "We would be glad to have you join us. And know that because of this mistake of assignment, you will have the choice to leave my retinue at any time you see fit... However. You will never truly leave my service. That is something you cannot have a say in, yet."

Adrianne walked through the burning remnants of the brothel with her staff in hand and her three manipulated fire extinguishers swishing through the air around her, attacking and extinguishing any flames in her path.

There was something unusual about the building that caught the psyker's attention, invisible to anyone who might not have her acute psychic sensitivity.

It was usual for places that gathered strong feelings from its inhabitants to emanate with some kind of psychic aura, and even as it was being reduced to ash and cinder all around her, she could still feel the aura of the brothel still very much alive. Strong desires, hopes and broken dreams. Lust and fear lingering together, covering a dreadful emptiness of the soul itself.

Yet there was something more, something not inherent of the brothel's aura that called out for her. A psychic presence, far more potent than the rest of the aura of the house, a stranger.

"There is something here... I am moving to investigate." Adrianne would report through her com as she entered into another side room, gently pushing away broken furniture and the half naked corpses of the dead as she continued down towards the basement of the burning brothel.

Like a moth to the flame, Adrianne felt drawn to its presence, following an invisible trail down the stairs to the basement of the Inn. Indeed, it was almost as if the stranger called out to her from somewhere, inviting her to come and join it. The fire of the brothel had not spread so much to the basement area of the brothel, which mostly consisted of heavy corridors built by solid concrete. But to cover up the cold interior, velvet curtains and richly embroidered carpets had been placed out across the concrete corridors, alongside ornate furniture and explicit paintings on the walls.

Entering what seemed like an office some sort in the back of the basement, consisting of a large office desk in the middle, alongside various luxury furniture and sofas scattered around as well as including a mini-bar in the corner, Adrianne would quickly notice a corpse lying towards the corner of the room, face down onto the carpet. It was one of the clerks of the brothel, the corpse of a thin, old man adorned in velvet robes.

The presence was strong now.

Walking past the office desk to stand gazing over the corpse, Adrianne could see past the drapery covering the wall in front of the corpse, a glimpse of an open deposit box made out of solid metal. The door was halfway open, and she could see various coins, gems, paper and jewelry lying inside of it, glittering all the way out. It seemed like the clerk had been trying to retrieve something from the deposit box in the office, before one of the rioters had clubbed him in the back of the head, evidenced by a large gathering of blood in the back of the old man's silvery hair.

Yet the presence did not emanate from the safe, nor from the old man. Adrianne's eyes moved away from the dead clerk, and over to his arm lying in front of him, his cold, dead grasp still clutching something in his fist.

Stepping forward and kneeling down next to him, the psyker would reach out and open his hand; revealing an ornate silver medallion the palm of his hand. Adorned with mythic scripture and eldritch symbols, perhaps the most striking feature of the medallion would be a living eye entrenched in the center of the medallion, twitching erratically around.

As she picked up the medallion to hold it in her glove, the eye immediately turned to look directly up at her with an eerie intensity, never blinking or looking away.
The touch of the medallion, even through her glove, felt warm. A tingling sensation emanated from her left hand holding it, a strange sense of arousal flowing through her body from the arcane medallion.

It was now no doubt that this was the presence she had initially felt in the brothel.

"Inquisitor Zhevon, I have found the... " Adrianne spoke through her comm as she rose to her feet, but suddenly paused mid sentence. Images flashed across the face of her mind, a shadowy assailant, followed by a scene of Zhevon falling to the ground at his feet!

" ... Inquisitor Zhevon, watch out!"

Adrianne would suddenly yell in the comm, quickly turning around to rush back out from the office and into the basement corridor!

*

On the outside of the brothel, where Inquisitor Zhevon was briefing the newcomer, Echo Nurian, the fighting between the rioters and arbite line would still be ensuing.

Yet amidst the organized ranks of arbites supporting the shield wall, there would be one arbite enforcer who spent more time looking back from the shield wall and towards the newly arrived party than the rioters right in front of them. As Echo walked up to report to Zhevon, the Inquisitor's back now turned towards the line of arbites, the enforcer decided that the time had come.

Suddenly retreating his shock baton back from the rioters in front of him, he'd instead slip to his side, stunning first the arbite on his right, and then the arbite on his left, causing the two men to immediately slump with painful groans to the ground as the electricity burst through their bodies!

"The line is breaking, reinforce the line!"

Sounded the voice of one supervising arbite officer when he saw the line wall apart, as the rioters began to break through the opening made by the rogue arbite! The rogue arbite was quick to step back as the rioters broke through, dropping his shield and baton to reach down into his fortified vestment to unholster two heavy pistols. The officer looked at him in confusion, before the rogue arbite raised his pistols and fired off a shot, going straight through the less protected lower portion of the officer's helmet, striking right through his neck and exploding in a shower of blood on the other side! As the officer tumbled to the ground, blood gushing from the back and front of his neck, the rogue arbite continued to step forward, this time moving his pistols towards the back of Zhevon!

"Die... " The man muttered behind his arbite helmet as he quickly advanced, both of his guns raised, and behind him; the rioters poured forth through the gap in the line, preventing any of the arbites from stopping their rogue comrade who was now going for the Inquisitor!

Echo Nurian got a clear view past Zhevon's shoulder as the assailant began to mercilessly unload of his dual wielded pistols! A barrage of rapid fire rained against the protective field of Zhevon's rosarius. Most of the shots were stopped, yet the first shot to break through would be striking into the back of Zhevon's right shoulder, the second into the right side of his backpack, and third into his lower thigh!

several of the Inquisitors routine enter the building and begin searching for something. Echo didn't know or especially care what. the inquisitor takes the papers and looks him and the mastiff over. Echo is aware of his rank compared to most of the routine and keeps his mouth shut and stands at a crisp attention. the inquisitor begins to say that it is a mistake, which was fine. he knew several arbites that had gotten mistaken assignment. Echo was just doing his duty to the Imperium. the inquisitor continued saying that is wasnt for the feint of heart. 'Yeah, yeah, after the Necrons nobody is feint of heart.' thinks Echo even though he smiles slightly under his rebreather mask which likely hid the expression entirely. as the inquisitor spoke Echo Looked past him at the excitment on the shield wall. his vox, still tuned to Arbites frequencies, picked up the orders concerning the damage to the line. someone was walking up from behind the inquisitor. the stranger carried twin auto-pistols and trained them on the inquisitor, who was still speaking to Echo. "You will never truly leave my service. That is something you cannot have a say in, yet." says the Inquisitor.

Just as the Inquisitor finishes his sentence the Auto-pistols begin to fire, Echo reaches out and grabs the Inquisitor by the breast plate and gives him a yank. Echo is a large bruiser type, comparable to Catachan death worlder thus granting him plenty of strength. Echo drags the Inquisitor down and behind him as he raises his shield between the attacker and the target. The Inquisitor was heavy though, an average unarmored man would have been tossed to the ground easily. "Stay Down!" yells Echo as several bullets slam into the shield, who is grateful that the attacker was using auto-pistols rather than something bigger. Echo looks at the Cyber Mastiff and shouts "Sic 'Em" at the dog.

The Cyber mastiff's claws dig into the concrete leaving short gouges and ensures good traction. the Mastiff takes off taking a leap at the attacker. he fires two more short bursts at the shield before he notices the Mastiff on the move. The attacker turns and fires on the Mastiff missing several shots but one managing to bury itself into the thin armor. by then Echo has taken out his powered maul and thumbed the activation rune charging the skin of the maul violent electricity. Echo begins by taking several steps towards the attacker until he heard him scream in agony.

in those few moments the Cyber mastiff had latched onto the right arm of the traitor arbites and its teeth where digging through his armor and was beginning to crush the bone beneath. the attacker began to scream while kicking at the Mastiff. Echo realized it was coming from the attacker and took the last few steps towards the attacker and looked down on him. The attacker looks at the lifeless lenses of Echo's mask and begs for mercy pathetically. Echo raises his shield and drives it down into the attackers chest. it felt as though he broke a rib or three, and certainly electrocuted the attacker. his body convulsed for a moment trying to deal with the shock bouncing around his nervous system. "what do you want to do with this one Sir?" Echo asks his new boss.

The idea of using the Valkyries VTOL engines to help extinguish the flames that engulfed the burning brothel was now dead. It was no longer an acceptable option due to the Techsorcist who had arrived and offered his assistance to the group a mere moment ago. He stood in the entryway of the brothel and had managed to re-position two large fallen support beams, bracing the doorway open. It appeared to be extremely durable from what she could tell but fire still clung to almost everything around it. The building was more of a threat than the rioters at this time, if a backdraft occurred or the building fell in on itself, it would most certainly result with someone’s death or at least injuries. The heat that came from the burning brothel slowly started to die down as the squad took care of as many fires as they could, Rithy being mostly to thanks to her three manipulated fire extinguishers that moved back and forth through the air around her. It was a strange sight to see inanimate objects move around freely as if they were alive, but Aviza was becoming use to seeing this with Adrianne around. At the word of their being equipment in the back of the Valkyries hold, Aviza quickly made her way over to the gunship and peered inside of it.

The inside was surprisingly clean and very well taken care of as if it had just be built and hand delivered for them to use. Making her way further into the ship, she noticed a row of seats on either side of the ship, and at the end of each said row near the front of the ship was a door gunner turret for increased defensive and offensive capabilities. Walking past the two rows of seats, she came to the cockpit door and quickly opened it, taking the pilots seat with pure delight. From the seat she had an incredibly unobstructed view of everything in front of the Valkyrie. Next to her was a co-pilot seat that had controls to other parts of the ship like secondary weapon systems, flares, and the such. Hooking a flight cable up to her armor from her seat, the incredibly clear HUD inside of her helmet came to life, very quickly flushing random information and details about the gunship before handing complete control over to her. Grabbing onto the controls gave her flashbacks of her ruthless training she went through to become a fully-fledged pilot.

The HUD told her and showed her everything she needed to know with small bars showing fuel amounts, speed, pressure, temperature, altitude, weapon and ammo count, even a crosshair for advanced targeting. “This Valkyrie is extremely well armed, good thing as well.” Thought Aviza to herself as she looked over the different weapons it had equipped and ready. Outside of the ship she could now the sounds of gunshots being fired along the chaos of the one again worked up rioters. “Thank you for the ship, I will now be commandeering it.” Thought Aviza to herself as she gracefully ran her hands over the controls, customizing everything to the way she liked and to what felt comfortable. The gunship came to life, hovering five feet off the ground then turned about ninety degrees to the left then turned on its blindingly bright spotlights onto the rioters as well as the man who was firing at the inquisitor. “I have eyes on the assassin, but all the weapons on this will Valkyrie will have massive collateral damage if I use any of them here.

Someone else needs to take care of the assassin while I take care of the rioters.”
Changing channels so that the Arbiters could hear her, she explained what was about to happen and ordered them to all leave the area or they were going to be tossed back like toys across the road. Unsurprisingly, they all quickly moved out of the way and onto the sides of the street or into buildings to take cover until Aviza was done. The Gunship was brought down to a couple of feet off the ground before turning itself around so that the back of the engines were now pointing at all of the rioters. After turning on the high powered airbrakes, she pushed the throttle forward to twenty five percent of its power and used her HUD to watch the rioters get blown around like leaves in a fall breeze. Those that were lucky managed to run away or roll with the force of the engines until they were out of its area of effect but others managed to hit objects like cars, signs, buildings, and other random things in the area. Once the rioters had dispersed, Aviza used her HUD and counted zero fatalities among the rioters and Arbiters."

"If anyone from her squad was standing close enough to the Valkyrie when Aviza powered on its main engines they would have seen quite a display from the aircraft. Alongside a bright blue flame that came out from each engine, there was still the noise they produced which matched that of an old world jet fighter "All done on my end." said Aviza before the ship climbed an extra couple of feet where the assassin or anyone else would not be able to reach her. "When you have all managed to deal with the assassin, I will land the Valkyrie and allow all of you to come aboard. When that time comes I would appreciate it if Adrianne could be my co-pilot for obvious reasons."

Adrianne came dashing out of the front entrance of the burning building with all haste, completely ignoring Aviza's message as she rushed out!

A piece of burning rubble began to fall from the top of the archway in front of the entrance and down towards her, but the psyker barely registered it; simply lashing out with one arm and blasting the rubble away with an invisible kinetic force that sent it flying across the building wall like a fiery shower of rocks and burning sand!

"Zhevon!" She shouted across the intercom, her skeletal mask immediately turning towards the group consisting of Echo and the Mastiff holding the assassin in place, as well as Zhevon lying on the concrete ground of not far from them.

Within the blink of an eye, Adrianne would suddenly disappear on the spot, vanishing from sight in an instant, before the psyker reemerged once again right between Arbite Nurian and Zhevon!

"What happened here?!" Adrianne would quickly inquire, her attention shifting rapidly between Zhevon and Nurian, to eventually focus on the former as a look of concern had formed behind her skeletal mask.

"Inquisitor, are you alright?!"
