Okay awesome! I'm making my character now, I just have a few questions
First, unique Kekkai Genkai are allowed yes? I always like making my own :)
Second, is there a rank that I should make? How are all the character interacting should I be a chunin? A genin? A jounin? Just curious, maybe it doesn't matter idk I'm dumb nevermind.
And lastly, if I could just get a summery of what's going on IC? That would be awesome, thanks!

Sota is... that person you can never really understand. That person you never truly get, and yet, that person who you simply feel you can trust. In the very core of his affect he is kind, loving, and caring, and though his efforts to defend it through ridicule and humorous, sarcastic mannerisms may be strong, the ultimate reality is that his warm inner feelings often infect those around him, attracting many a friend and making him, well, rather popular. Which he has... mixed feelings about.
Then again, the levels of Sota's personality are hard to follow. Since I always have trouble writing coherent personality profiles, I'll simply list some emotionish things and how/when he generally displays/handles them.
Anger: Sota handles anger in the way any witty teenager would – with a series of defensive, deflective retorts. To get him angry to the point of raising his voice would quite honestly be an achievement in itself; he prides himself in the ability to coolly evaluate situations on a whim and react accordingly.
Ego: Sota can't be beat. Period. At least, that's the way he sees it. Nice and warm as he is, the guy isn't exactly humble, and knows full well the extent of his abilities as a fighter. Regardless of whether or not he'll win, he isn't afraid to try, and losing will surely put him down. He also likes to brag mid fight. A lot. Should I put that in weaknesses??
To label Sota as either introvert or extrovert would be improper, for neither word accurately describes his set of personality traits. The question that poses itself is what word truly describes a man who hates to be alone and yet despises other people? A man who enjoys his own form of dry epicaracacy while at the same time judging others for doing the same? Such a word simply doesn't exist. Then again, does any one word honestly describe any one person?
【History】
Sota's story is one of death – a curse seeming to follow him wherever he went, since he was but a lad. He was raised by a poor homeless family living in lower class Konoha up until the age of 7 (Following the death of his Mom in childbirth; a common complication with Hotarus.), where he then, following a vicious stabbing over a matter of living arrangements, was cast out on his own. Sota learned, as any human would in such a situation, to survive and fend from himself at an early age. The filth ridden streets of the inner city demanded it. The rough living conditions, lack of food – and competition for what food there was – it all lead to a sort of kill or be killed mentality that shaped Sota as a boy. Do what you have to do. That's what they would always say. Being a smart boy he understood, and, lacking proper size to actually overpower anyone, he was forced to find certain out of the box methods for keeping himself fed and alive. That was life for Sota, sad as it was, and it's likely that struggle that lead to his darker less forgiving side. Until 10, when he discovered his ability.
It was a rare ability – only observed once or twice in the world, known as Hotaru (“Firefly” ホタル

Less then a year later he was admitted into the shinobi academy under the close supervision of the staff. Without the proper control or chakra reserves, it can cause rather... explosive problems. The elder shinobi knew this well, and took the proper precautions, training Sota, teaching him how to control the Hotaru without harming others, and after three long years, he was graduated and placed on squad.
After that, Sota's life was became rather ordinary. The next five years were spent honing his skills and learning the ins and outs of society, making friends – the whole nine yards. The last five years gave him back his humanity. They made him the good man he is.
【Family ties】
Sota's family is all dead. He is the last of a dying bloodline, and since he can't remember anything they hold no tangible ties to his personality.
【Dreams and fears】
Sota's one and only fear is his very own technique, Hotaru. He was taught to fear it, and to use that fear as a reminder never to lose control. And for good reason. If he ever did lose control... the results would be catastrophic.

Description: Hotaru is a powerful kekkai genkai that is, in essence, the epitome of fire control. Always active and most usually present, the bloodline materializes itself as eight shining orbs that hover around Sota at around a foot's length from his body. The orbs themselves are luminescently beautiful – each one is a perfect circle with a diameter if six inches, consisting of pure, densely compacted fire element chakra. At night the orbs shine brightly around his cloak, greatly resembling the fireflies by which it was named. Something to note is that the orbs often react to Sota's mood - appearing more ferocious when he is angry, lucid when he is calm, etc. (This does not effect their power)
What's important to understand is that Hotaru is so much more then just a utilization of one's chakra, but rather their entire being. Each orb is created with a large piece of Sota's chakra, stamina, and soul energy built into it. By using one, Sota is essentially hurting himself. The orbs are always present because they are his life – try to think of them as extensions of his internal organs. If they are all destroyed, Sota will die, and with each one lost a great detriment to his fighting ability is had.
**NOTE** The original eight orbs are the most important and the most powerful. When one is destroyed the rest grow stronger. It takes one hour to generate one of these orbs as of right now, meaning the eight he has in combat are likely the only eight he will have to use. They also react accordingly to Sota, avoiding obstacles and arranging themselves so as to not obstruct day to day activity. Hotaru itself though can be utilized outside of these eight orbs – creating smaller, weaker orbs that mirror their effects.
**NOTE 2** The original eight orbs (Which I will dub soul orbs) are kept compressed by Sota's chakra reserves. What this means, is that if his chakra reserves ever fail, as in fall below one percent, the orbs will, well, explode, effective killing Sota and creating a massive explosion of catastrophic proportions.
Strengths: The Hotaru is an extremely powerful combat proficient jutsu. Each orb in itself has the power to deal massive damage to a shinobi at point blank contact – inflicting dangerous burns backed by a vicious impact force. The orbs can be manipulated and their sizes changed, though this requires great effort and is something Sota, as of now, can only barely do. They also have long range capabilities that he is not aware nor capable of utilizing at this time.
Weaknesses: General orbs themselves can only be used in short – short/mid range combat as of now, and while they are dangerous they do take a large amount of chakra to create and shape. Close range explosions hurt himself too, though the outward trajectory of each blast dims the damage. Weak to water jutsu, obviously, and this Kekkai Genkai limits Sota to just one nature – Fire, obviously.

“Be like water...”
5'0 and 100lbs, his white hair could reach his shoulder-blades if he let it down. Underneath the tubular padded armor, he has a swimmers build, something of no surprise for the pearl diver. Where some ninja have sculpted themselves for Strength or speed, he has built himself for endurance to wear out his foes instead.

He is surprisingly kind for a Mist ninja that borders on psychotic. He is nonplussed by all the murders around him as well as the many attempts on his own life to really give a damn. He is cheerful that he isn't dead yet and takes every moment for the gift of life that it is. As a side note, he has a severe hero worship for the former Mizukage.
【History】
Illegitimate son of the former Mizukage, born to the tsunami family in the town of Shinju while hiding from hunter-nin, the 3 month old infant was suddenly abandoned by the missing-nin exactly 1 year after the swordsman's arival and raised as a bastard child for several years on the port town. A dozen years later, far away from the brutality of the village hidden in the mists and all their treachery do we revisit the Boy Doku. He had grown into an apt swimmer, able to hold his breath for over four minutes of hard swimming for earning his keep in the local village when he received an odd package in the market while selling seashells; a mizukage straw hat with a letter from his father and a novel of his exploits.
In His last will he had sent for his child to attend the academy hidden in the mists as well as the delivery of the journal of his life. Doku read the book from cover to cover on the trip to the academy, he was almost too old to attend but his legacy assured his entrance regardless. Every month while at the school he read the book from cover to cover, the journal of his father provided several high level tips and hints from his lifetime experience to help Doku compensate for the lack of training most other ninja students would have unofficially received from their siblings or other family members.
It was hard going for him to Keep his child-like zeal while at the school, such ruthless tactics other students steeped in moral poison already should have spelled his end a dozen times over, it was in these moments that he found life to be a gift and every missed attempt of his life made him feel more alive. If he gave into the poison that consumed all the other students, then he would become another faceless mass, not the stuff of his fathers legacy. He graduated with flying colors much to the ire of his fellow students in the 7 way fight with a poison fueled hidden mist jutsu that he was immune to due to the entire year spent building up tolerance to his own poison blend.

An 'aquatic Gara' would be the easiest way to explain his style of heavy water techniques emphasizing energy conservation whenever possible. From this time under the training of Shuko, he has taken to increasing his quite lacking martial skill with grappling techniques for locks and holds, wrapping his limbs around an opponent to bring them down rather than an arbitrary series of punches and kicks.

Description:
The pervy octopus is from the contract hidden within his father's book only revealed after proper study. In combat she capable of firing ink shots to blind opponents for Doku's aid as well as an attack of unspeakable horror against kunoichi simply called "one thousand years of love". She also knows healing measures to help him recover and can generate water for his use in jutsu's if he is without any water of his own.

Yumeko's mother, Akisora, also died when she was relatively young at only three years old. Her death was sudden and put under investigation. Little is known exactly what went down during the investigation but she was ruled to have died as "natural causes" and nothing else was ever brought up on the subject. She has just a few faint memories of her mother before her death. It seemed she had lived a good life for as much as she can recall. However after her mother's death all the way till she was six years old she was held in Kumogakure. A good friend of her mother's lived there and decided to help raise her.

During her early school days she was shipped back and forth between Konogakure and Kirigakure. This was in part to the fact that Kirigakure was still her official home and her "guardian" was in kirigakure. However her konohagakure guardian fought for custody of her as well. However in the end the custody was lost and she had to bid farewell to her Konohagakure family for a short while till she finished school.
She preffered Konohagakure to be honest but she knew that her home was originally Kirigakure. In Kiri she felt she was discriminated against since her father had not been a popular Mizukage and her white hair and red eyes were often the target for bullying. Back in Konoha she had to deal with a small amount of bullying because of her foreign status but it was almost playful. Nothing like the malicious intent behind those that were bullying her in Kiri. Though over time she was accepted. In fact as many began to hit puberty she became quite popular with many boys but only ever to turn them down.
12-16
During her high school years she graduated into a Genin and then quickly into Chunin at age 13. Her powerful chakra and quick reflexes made it easy for her to take up the next level. However at about 15 she seemed to hit some kind of block in her development. She hasn't gained much skill or power since that age. She still trains every day and she pushes herself as much as possible...yet something is missing. If anything she feels as if she is getting weaker. Many of the people she blew past in power have now caught up or even surpassed her. It was at this time that she decided that her multiple visits to Konoha would be permanent.
There was an option to become an ambassador for Kiri to Konoha. She would get to keep her connections to Kiri but get to live in the lush and beautiful Konoha. It seemed the perfect change of pace that could help her advance her ninjutsu to the next level. However the results were less than satisfying as she feels she gained some strength but nothing like she had hoped. She still stands in this stifling and terrible stall of her own skills.

You will notice that I have not mentioned many issues with friends or family except for the loose relationships she have with her mother's friend in Konoha. Her mother's friend was an ex-ninja turned bakery owner. She is a kind but strict woman who makes sure she goes to bed at a good time and forces her to do her laundry (without her she would let it pile up to the ceiling or worse wear it over again). Other than that she has actively avoided or failed to gain any meaningful relationships. She has professional relationships and even semi-friendly relationships. However she isn't part of any click and because of her constant movement she has never been a permanent member of any kind of squad or team. She longs for this and thus has been her secret goal this year to gain.

Her father was Yoru Tenchi and was a former Mizukage from nearly 18 years ago. Her mother was Akisora. She is also deceased. Nanao Yamadora is her part time foster mother.

However now she is 17 years old and only a basic Chunin with hardly any improvement in two years.
Her greatest fear is that she will never be able to get over her own awkwardness and anxieties. She fears she will live her life all alone and when Nanao dies she won't ever have any kind of family left. She also fears being weak for the rest of her life. She fears that she will be a disappointment. Often she falls into a deep depression and questions if she should even exist in this world at all if she is just meant to be a failure.
Someone looking into it would see her holding a knife to her throat and thinking about resons why she should or shouldn't. A tear falls down the side of her cheek. On the first image she cuts into her neck. The second image she stays that way forever frozen in time and unable to put the knife down. Both are equally terrifying to her.

She fights with weapons or taijutsu enhanced by her own blood. Her focus is mostly on an aggressive close to mid range tactics based on her high speed regeneration and unexpectedly dexterous blood. She also has the ability to heal herself rapidly after taking damage to a non-vital part of her body. Often she will take an attack so she can get a better vantage point to counter attack.
【Kekkei genkai, or bloodline limit】
Bloodline limit name: Tenchi
Description:
The Tenchi Kekkei Genkai is the ability for her to use her blood at her will. The basis of which is she can command it to replicate at lighting speeds to create as much blood as she can create with her chakra. Her body contains about 30 percent more blood than a normal person of the same size.
The advantage of using blood is the fact that it is in fact thicker than water. Any water jutsu faced off again blood will lose if it has the same power. It also has the advantage of not being weak to earth type chakra. However the weakness is that it is not extra effective against fire. It is neutral to all elements.
The next portion of her Kekkei Genkai is that she has incredibly fast regenerative abilities. She cannot regenerate her internal organs but her skin and blood vessels she can heal in seconds. An example is if she is cut in the arm and a huge gash is sliced in she can health that quickly. However if she is stabbed in the stomach she will go down from the same internal injury to her liver as anyone else.
The last portion of her Kekkei genkai that gives people the creeps. She can drink the blood of others to absorb the latent chakra within the blood. Its post powerful if drank directly from the blood vessels of a living person. Blood that has been sitting out or from a dead body will be devoid of chakra. She can only drink it fresh. There is also a limit to how much chakra she can absorb at one time from drinking blood.
Strengths:
At her current level she has mastered several blood based jutsu. At any point in time she is able to heal most of her surface injuries quickly in battle without having to expend much chakra for it. The most powerful jutsu she is able to do is the great blood dragon. Because of the fact she has to create the blood she expends extra energy for the amount of volume the weapon or jutsu will require. However once it is created it doesn't take that much to manipulate it so long as it doesn't stray to far from her original body.
The greatest advantage however isn't combat but rather the fact she can re-charge her chakra though drinking the blood of her enemies. Its not uncommon for her to be seen bent over the wounded and drink from their wounds in the midst of battle. Then she will stand up with red splashed across her alabaster face and ruby stains in her snow white hair.
Weaknesses:
Chiton or blood ninjutsu requires a lot of chakra. If not used correctly she can easily drain herself. Also if she uses to much of her own blood without considering the chakra that it takes to replenish her personal supply she may cause herself to black out from anemia. As stated before there is no element that takes an advantage over her blood jutsu but that also means there is no element that it is particularly useful against.

The force the attack is greater than a regular shuriken of the same size and the range is slightly longer.

In Kiri she felt she was discriminated against since her father had not been a popular Mizukage and her white hair and red eyes were often the target for bullying. Back in Konoha she had to deal with a small amount of bullying because of her foreign status but it was almost playful. Nothing like the malicious intent behind those that were bullying her in Kiri. Though over time she was accepted. In fact as many began to hit puberty she became quite popular with many boys but only ever to turn them down.

During her high school years she graduated into a Genin and then quickly into Chunin at age 13. Her powerful chakra and quick reflexes made it easy for her to take up the next level. However at about 15 she seemed to hit some kind of block in her development. She hasn't gained much skill or power since that age. She still trains every day and she pushes herself as much as possible...yet something is missing. If anything she feels as if she is getting weaker. Many of the people she blew past in power have now caught up or even surpassed her. It was at this time that she decided that her multiple visits to Konoha would be permanent.
There was an option to become an ambassador for Kiri to Konoha. She would get to keep her connections to Kiri but get to live in the lush and beautiful Konoha. However her mission statuses were a bit low and so she had to kick her rear into gear and focus more on her own achievements in order to try and get the position. However the first attempt failed. Having now assumed a more prominent role in her ninja life she managed to pull out a decent record when another position opened up a few months later. This time she was narrowly able to obtain the position. Strangely enough two of the other applicants...didn't make it on time....*flash over to the entrance to see two ninja bound in threads made of blood**flashback to regular history* It seemed the perfect change of pace that could help her advance her ninjutsu to the next level. However the results were less than satisfying as she feels she gained some strength but nothing like she had hoped. She still stands in this stifling and terrible stall of her own skills.

She misses jokes that people tell her and often doesn't realize that people are actually talking to her. Her free time is mostly spent alone in her Konogakure apartment or out training weirdo workaholic, uh-huh. The number of people she is close to can be counted on one hand and socially inept.
Despite all of her shyness and social awkwardness she isn't cold. She suffers from social anxiety and wants to be part of a group of friends but finds it painfully difficult to navigate the social structures of life needs to go out moar. Her mother Akisora, was a prominent kirigakure ninja. She was wed to a cold and distant man known to most as the "bloody demon" Kiri has the most original names who held the title of Mizukage for a short seven years but dying before Yumeko's birth. Yumeko's mother, Akisora, also died when she was relatively young at only three years old. Her death was sudden and put under investigation. Little is known exactly what went down during the investigation but she was ruled to have died as "natural causes" and nothing else was ever brought up on the subject. She has just a few faint memories of her mother before her death. It seemed she had lived a good life for as much as she can recall. However after her mother's death all the way till she was six years old she was held in Kumogakure you mean konoha?. A good friend of her mother's lived there and decided to help raise her.

This was in part to the fact that Kirigakure was still her official home and her "guardian" was in kirigakure. However her konohagakure guardian fought for custody of her as well. Okay, you do have to detail how much blood from a bod would start to fill up a remarkable amount of chakra. Also, does she have the obligation to suck it out of someone's body by going full vamp or does she just go easy mode and manipulate it from a distance? The latter will make this + regeneration way too easy to abuse. I'm willing to accept that this goes full on Tokyo Ghoul and requires her to sit down and feast a while before it gets relevant, essentially making it only useful out of combat (or in unique situations).

Description:She uses her blood to create a bladed weapon she can wield. The weapon moves from solid to liquid at her will and allows her to change its shape and size to suit the needs of the combat. Common things she makes them into would be swords, scythe and spear. She can create more vague shapes such as floating blades that she can control independent to her body. How solid are they? Steel? If Chakra enhanced like Asuma or Samurai, this jumps to at least B. Added to that is her ability to go full magnet on them. But if it's just average weapon strength C should be acceptable.

Description:The jutsu allows her to regenerate soft tissue in her body. She can clot wounds almost immediately. She is able to repair her heart and other vital arteries as well as her veins. It enhances the time it takes to heal from broken bones but that is over time (such as weeks rather than months to heal from a broken bone). It does little to nothing to heal her other internal organs such as liver, lungs or eyes. She is unable to use this ability on anyone else so it doesn't qualify as a medical ninjutsu. So her organs directly involved tin the circulatory system heal as well? Alright, though I don't think a stab in the heart will be easy to recover from. There should be some backlash depending on the damage done. An artery popped and a stabbed heart aren't going to magically be better. A quick heart attack leaves you pretty fucking lethargic for a while, so such damage shouldn't be a cakewalk to get over. I'd say it's B rank.

Description: It works as any other clone jutsu of an elemental type. When the clone is destroyed however the blood splatters around as the volume used to create the body will still exist. This is used often with other jutsu. An example of a combination is to use a clone to attack an opponent who strikes it down. however the blood from the clone is used to create a weapon to strike down the opponent. Basic clones are B rank. This is an elemental clone with a pretty nasty side effect. Those are generally A rank. This isn't an exception.

Description: The Jutsu works by creating a red mist that obscures the vision of the opponent. It also creates an opportunity to create weapons out of the air. To a very vague extent the mist can be used as a sensory style technique and allow her to get a vague idea of where an opponent is as they make contact with the bloody mist. Gin has almost the exact same technique but with almost the opposite combat effect. This is AT LEAST C rank due to it being Hidden mist + sensory and power enabler. B if she can just spawn weapons anywhere and cheese the shit out of everything. I'd suggest just sticking to forming some around her in a stylish way, but w/e

- Every female will be a lesbian? Hmm. At least 50/50 here for her. Depends on the characters and interactions.

- Yes. Twaz round 4:30 in the morning when I made that error.
- Explained more in depth how she got the position as well as humorous jabs and lame jokes.
- To clarify. She can only ever use her own blood for Chiton. She cannot simply "summon" blood as she could water for water jutsu. If she needs more blood she has to spend the chakra to create enhanced replication of blood cells.
- To clarify her blood drinking. She has to drink directly from the body vampire style. She cannot control blood that is not hers. If someone was bleeding all over the floor she couldn't do anything with it. She cannot command the blood of others to "come to her" or obsorb blood back into her body in any way other than drinking it.
- Laten charka regained has to do with how powerful the person was. To totally replenish her chakra she would need to drink a person of equal power totally dry while still alive. If she were to drink the blood of a kage it would be proportional to the power they have. Again it would have to be taken from the body or very very very very freshly spilt. Not normally done in combat ever. But if one was to fight a team of people she could consume their blood after the fight to replenish for the next fight. But it is doubtful she could do anything during the midst of combat.
- I have edited some of the techniques and changed some of the ranks. The only A rank will be the blood clones. However even this was not enough. It took an intervention from an elder who knew of her mother and more importantly her father. He begged the question of her potential rather than her current ability. He also seemed to owe a favor to her father. With his action helping her here it relieved his soul of the burden of that debt. She still has no idea what the debt is or why it was the elder helped her get this position. It also didn't hurt that she has been shuttled back and forth to Konoha on several occasions throughout her life. The argument for this was that she could help bridge the cultural gap between the two villages. The argument against it was that it threw her loyalty to the mist into question. However after much deliberation it was ruled that the time of peace between the two villages would allow for someone with such strong ties to be trusted with ambassador duties. However they were going to keep a close eye on her.

I've only seen the first Naruto show, so I'm not that familiar with them, but I was thinking of playing a kind of super villain who uses Shadow possession, Shadow clones, maybe the rasengan or chidori, and his byakugan to basically be an assassin and exploit non-shinobi. He could also walk on walls and water, of course, as well as disguise himself as others, maybe even using other illusions, but his primary method of attack against shinobi would be disrupting their chakra with martial arts or making them kill themselves.
I assume he'd have to at least be a chunin for those moves, though.
