Human - Erde

A well traveled man, Davon often hides his true intentions behind mystery. He's a quiet man, one that knows his own reputation, he'll ignore people that he doesn't feel are worth his time. He's a materialistic person, one that values the weight of cash, his morals aligning with the job. Davon holds no qualms about getting his hands dirty and is utterly ruthless with his goals. He's a solid liar, someone that is rarely honest with anyone except his closet friends, which he does not currently possess. He enjoys a good shootout almost as much as he enjoys a stiff drink and a wild lass.

While Davon is exceptional with a revolver or a rifle, he is not that great at close range combat. He is not the most physically strong man and tries to avoid brawls. He has no knowledge or skill with melee weaponry beyond a simple knife. He's also unable to swim, it is just something he never got around to learning, because of this he avoids going in water beyond what he can walk in. Davon has an alcohol problem, it's his main vice and something too much of his hard earned cash goes into, the worst part of it being that he knows it's a problem.

His personality can also cause problems. A frequent liar, exposed lies can create tension between himself and others. His reputation as a killer and someone who follows the money has given him a bad reputation. His mysteriousness has and still does cause problems, his divisiveness of people he does not care for having caused issues before. Getting a few too many drinks into him causes him to speak more than he should, sometimes revealing secrets.

Davon was born in 92 AI, an only child of two poor farmers. As soon as he was able to help on the farm he was put to work by his father. He hated it, dirty work that rarely ever paid off. Still he had to do it, paid for his schooling which was nothing special but better than nothing. His father died when he was fifteen, he spent two more years on the farm helping his mother before she sold the farm. The two traveled for a short time together before she met a wealthier man who was smitten by her at first glance.

After a fight Davon was out the door and never saw her again. On the road he came upon a ransacked cart, bandits had hit it hard, killed the family that owned it, even the children. He found an old pistol amongst the wreckage and followed the tracks left by the bandits, he wasn't sure why he did it, maybe just pure curiosity. He came upon their camp, there were five of them. The bandits told him to turn and run before they decided to hurt him, he shot each of them down, they hit him in the leg. Davon ran through their possessions, took anything valuable then limped to the nearest town where he got medical attention.

It was in this small town that he entered his first duel after he angered a middle aged man, the townfolk's wife had tried to come onto Davon, he only returned the affection. The future Gunslinger killed the man, in the process discovering his talent for duels. He only continued to wander from then on, taking up bounty hunter jobs, occasional mercenary work and spectacular duels. The money was great, as was the thrill of it all, the only downside was the infamy but he stopped caring about that long ago.

His most recent stop is in Blackwood, the gunslinger's reputation the talk of the bars he frequents. He has not been in town long.

Davon currently aspires to amass as much wealth as he can, though he has no real plan. He does not intend to die in combat, but that very well may happen if continues his dangerous way of living. At face he is a hard character to get along with, but there is great room for character development. I see different ways he could change, perhaps for the better as a man crusading for justice, or even on the further end as another cruel outlaw fully succumbing to the vices of the world.
