Thanks! There's still something that doesn't seem quite right to me, but I'm sure I'll figure it out and get it tweaked.

Definitely. I should be getting that up within the next few days. Having a busy week, so I'm going to try and set it up at a time when I'm not too occupied and able to handle the rush that usually starts at the beginning of RPGs.

I'm still debating whether I should put down a character for this or not.
On one hand, it's been forever since I did a Persona RP and I miss it.
But on the other hand there's already a fair number of people here, and a few have gone dormant...
That! And I'm a shallow person who gets turned off by a lack of image references :P

No. Arcana will play a role.

Ironically enough I was thinking the same thing;
- Lots of characters (12?)
- Early birds have all gone quiet
- And I suppose images, not as big a deal for me... but they always make characters feel nicer.

I'm going to sit back and see how things go though, maybe something will change my mind before Crimmy gets this up and running. Most likely, I'll just forget about this and not join... like every other RP I've looked at lately xD

In my experiance, a good number of characters is essential because some players will either not post at all, or vanish after 1 - 2 posts.

Better to have a surplus, then let those that aren't all that interested after all leave. In my opinion anyway.

In all honesty though, I've tended to prefer roleplays where people socialized and talked over ideas/possibilities/thoughts. Even if it is just offhanded comments.

As for player numbers, people do tend to flake off...
But at the same time introducing 12 character in one go can get chaos, and large numbers could lead to people feeling they're not getting enough spotlight time. xD
Think that's usually the case for people who never post. They come along after 2 pages of IC and decide "Why the hell bother" xD

Any clues as to how the whole summoning thing will work? I always liked the Evokers, even though cards seemed more fitting.

We'll be going with the tarot cards. The Evokers were used because they tied into Persona 3's themes on the fear of death and the like, while tarot cards have really been the default thing for the franchise as a whole, although Persona 1 and 2 didn't really need any form of focus to summon their Personae.

Tarot cards are also an easier identifier.
