Hey everyone, can I have your attention please?

Okay, so I know that there is a lot of activity going on in this roleplay — the GM team is so excited about it. But we're well aware that it's a double-edged sword; not everyone can be so active all the time.

And because we don't want to lose anyone because it's moving so fast, I just wanted to let you guys know that you don't necessarily have to read every single post in the IC. If you're running short on time, you can just read the ones that pertain to you and your character — that's why we're using the [@mention] system. (so please please please be sure to mention whoever you're interacting with in your posts)

Of course, ideally you'd read all the posts when you have more time to spare. We definitely encourage that you read everyone's posts, even if they don't have anything to do with you, but we understand if you cannot.@Undine

This really takes a load off of me.

I loved it, particularly the nightmare sequence! I began my writing days as a poet, so I can really appreciate your use of sentence structure to create the almost violent  imagery of the nightmare. I'm not sure if that is the right word, but I'm going with it. In cave man terms: Me like post.

Also, done reading the IC posts, now to the OOC and then hunkering down to crank out this CS.

Thank you! I edited it accordingly, so feel free to take a look and let me know if it's out of sorts with your own history and lore. From my own headcanon, Yukiko was able to tell Maggie was a Witch from the moment they met, having literal centuries of experience with the Other, and also because Maggie is still fairly young and inexperienced at masking her potential. Because Maggie isn't 'out' yet to the general public, I like to think that Yuki respects her privacy and rarely remarks upon her magic? 

@MiddleEarthRoze if there's any problems with my post regarding Maggies perception of Stefanis character, please let me know! I felt like, since Stefani is still practically a fledgling (and likely can't cast any glamours yet?) Maggie, whose Mother would have taught her about different creature characteristics, would have worked out Stefanis vampyric nature fairly quickly? Or maybe Yuki might have quietly explained it to her? If this thinking's cool with you both?

@everyone (not a gm team post but an apoka post c:)

so ive been working on nikita's relationship sheet but, like, im hella bad at coming up with relationships on the spot or assuming them without talkin' to the maker first, because i love putting in little stories and small things that the chars do for each other - so, if you guys want a relationship beyond the "who is that?" typical response - PLEASE PM ME <3 PLEASE I LOVE TALKING ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE AND COMING UP WITH WEIRD IDEAS

this being said, this is what I have so far, if you don't like something i wrote or would rather have a more or less personal relationship with nikita, tell me<3 i dont wanna make a char out to be ooc; if you dont think that your char would like the type of person nikita is, tell me<3 maybe then we can brainstorm a rivalry or enemyship or something ^^ it doesn't always have to be roses and daisies:

Blake Preston
"I've seen a couple of her YouTube videos. They're okay."

Lies. All lies. Not only has Nikita seen more than a "couple" of YouTube videos, Nikita has seen all of them twice. Matter of fact, Nikita is such a huge fan of Blake, that she's bought merchandise. Nikita is a proud ashamed owner of one Blake Preston t-shirt that she loves to wear with her beat up sneakers. Unfortunately, Nikita has never met one of her favorite YouTubers and Nikita highly doubts that she ever will.

Daniel Belson
"He's a good bartender and an even greater arsehole."

Nikita doesn't like to show her cards, her emotions, but with Danny she never feels vulnerable. He's a friend, the only type of friend Nikita bothers to keep. He's the type of friend that Nikita prods and throws insults at like a ring toss and they ignore everything outside of their conversation and the booze cradled in their hands. Nikita doesn't know dick about Danny's life and he knows just as much about her - hell, if someone asked Nikita if he was dating someone, she wouldn't be able to answer. He's the type of friend that Nikita prefers, someone who she gets along well with and minds his own business while she does the same.

Alistair Queen
"Fucking Alistair. Yeah, I know him - it's rather unfortunate, really. I regret shagging him."

This happens to also be a lie. Actually, Nikita has Alistair saved in her contacts as Booty Call #1. She calls him when she wants something quick and easy versus actually having to work for it. And, well, they've developed quite the odd pair - it's not really a friendship, but they aren't strangers. However, Alistair has a way of getting on Nikita's nerves - if this bastard sends her one more farmville request she's going to castrate him. He knows she hates it, but he still does it. And if it's not farmville, then it's some other godforsaken app that Nikita doesn't play. Not even a text message full of swears and a "fuck your farm, ali" stops him from the annoying notifications.

Mariska Costas
"Is that the lounge singer?"

Nikita doesn't really know Mariska except for that one time Nikita saw her singing at the lounge.

Mordred Hame
"He looks like jailbait - it's surprising that he is thirty."

Nikita is a casual fan of Hame's band and has been to a concert or two, but she's not a diehard as she is for Blake's YouTube channel. Metal isn't really Nikita's thing, either, she prefers mellow music or some old school rock. Either way, though, Mordred is good enough for Nikita to not switch the radio when the band comes on.

Faron is Nikita's roommate, so she's closer to him than she is with most others. If they weren't roommates, Nikita might not have ever considered him a friend, but nowadays it isn't that hard for her to consider him as such. Faron tends to give her a lot of protection charms due to her line of work and, well, Nikita might not admit it, but its appreciated. Despite knowing the supernatural exist - being one of them, of course - Nikita doesn't really believe in charms and all the shite, but she hasn't lost a single one yet. She always keeps the charms on her - just in case - and they have some sentimental value. Though she really shouldn't, sometimes Nikita finds herself smoking a blunt with him in his room, even though spontaneous drug tests are a real risk. Nevertheless, Nikita can't find it in herself to really say no to Faron.

I loved Maggie's thoughts on Stef! And you're right, Maggie would be aware of Stef's Vampirism, because it's likely she would have told her about it. Stef's not one to keep things quiet if it means people's lives are at risk - Maggie has to know of any potential danger she may be in. Including her new blood-drinking roomie. :)

Because, where I come from (NY - yes, really - no, not the city -.-) if you take away the alcohol, all you have is a spits worth of coke and sours mix. Huhh... that's interesting. Sounds tasty, but I've never met a soul who drank a Long Island because it's tasty. That's the drink you get when you just turned 21 and think you're hot shit, but need to get obliterated with a college student's budget. Best alcohol:cost ratio, but with anywhere between 5 and 7 shots in it, it tastes like the poison it is. Of course, I can't hate on them too much, I still indulge occasionally, though nowhere makes them like they did back home.

I'm hinging on Faron not knowing the difference, but he substitutes all of the alcohol with other liquids, shakes it all up and boom non-alcoholic Long Island.
