@Jhett314 @dragonmancer Damien watched with a smile on his face as the masked man ran off. This was the perfect time to make a speedy escape to his abandoned beach house. There, he had resources in case he was followed. He gave a small chuckle before sprinting off away from the people, and ran into a thicket of palm trees and out the other side.

"Yes, I'm curious because you're fighting.", she responded in a quite reserved way and imitated his expression. His eyes were remarkable, a contrast to the rest of his body. Maxine wondered, why she never met him before. She would notice him immediatley with his appearance, but this feeled like the first time, she met a dragon. Again, this city was to big to remember every person she had seen before. "Why did you stop? Your enemy will run away if you stay here and talk to me." As her sight wandered past the dragon, she noticed another person, the man with the mask. She saw him running into their direction and smiled. "You should be fighting with him", she said as she pointed at Greame.

@Rallou My hint of a smile towards the polite spirit faded as she drew notice to the masked man from before, I'd sigh. "fighting, huh?" I'd then call over to him. "Oi what the hell are you doing?" My eyes squinted suspiciously, unsure of why he was coming after me. @Jhett314

@dragonmancer Damien reached his little wooden home. He plopped down on the dirty mattress, sitting on a rusty metal bedframe, and chuckled quietly to himself. He glanced at the dolls and toys lined up on his shelf. Some had guns, but most had little knives embedded in it's chest. He grabbed a small wooden snake and sent it out. It would make an observation and then verbally report back to Damien. He could make these toys do whatever he wanted. He could probably make them intelligent on their own. But they would probably rebel.

The wind would brush against my unkept spiky hair, my eyes half as bright as the sun. My tail would seem to slither and writhe amongst the sand beneath me. Waiting as the stranger grew closer as my tail would brush against the legs of my torn pants, wings folded against my naked chest. As I waited I looked back to the spirit. Matt finished his sandles and looked at the man straight facing for a bit before blurting out with laughter. Was this bear man really frightened by Matt. "Look I don't mean any harm dude." Matt told the man in a calming voice sliding on his sandles and opening the door to IHOP. "I just wanted to have a causal conversation with you if that's not to weird."

"Sounds good to me, I am Bartholomew, local bum." he grins and offers Matt his hand for a handshake, it smells like french fries and wet dog.

"I'm Matt, local pervert I guess!" He laughed reaching out to shake Bartholomew's hand. He smelled weird but Matt didn't want to bring it up to jot hurt the guys feelings. Matt ordered a table for two and waited for Bart. ( XD got lazy) Maybe Matt can help this guy and in return good karma would come his way. Then he can use that good karma to score with a chick.

Graeme reached the edge of the clearing. He saw the creature, a dragon. He surveyed his surroundings swiftly to make sure no one else was around - no one else needed to come to harm. The wind lifted the bottom of his cloak dramatically. He had to keep himself from smoothing it down again.

"You," he started, "half-dragon." The youth didn't need to be addressed - he'd been watching Graeme the entire time. It was easy to see he was powerful - corded muscle shifted as he kept his wings furled by his back. The air smelled of smoke and pine. "What business do you have with the civilians of this city? Why do you seek to harm them?" He took a step forward, but did not plan to attack until he heard the half-dragon's reply.

Centuries? This half-dragon couldn't have been that old already. Then again, if he was a true half-dragon, it'd be very hard to estimate his age. What if he just looks young? He could be doing something absurd like drinking the blood of a virgin lamb every full moon to maintain his youth. Graeme found it unlikely, but didn't rule it out entirely. He'd seen some strange people do things in his lifetime. He reminisced on the Skoom, a nomadic tribe of the north that consumed the placenta of a newborn baby as a delicacy during the Iron Tree festival. In fact, he was reminded of all the instances of new people he met on his way to this city.

What Graeme didn't notice was the dozen small, infant-like metal hands squirming their way to the surface and tugging absently at the grass and running sand through their fingers as he daydreamed. Unbeknownst to him, whenever he daydreamed a multitude of hands made their way to the surface and had a life of their own. He sat cross legged and remained in his reverie for a while, almost completely oblivious to the world around him.

I tilted my head, confused at his sudden change of position and going practicly still, along with the multitude of metallic hands rising from the earth. My tail would coil and un-coil itself back and fourth as i waited for some sort of response or action from him. While waiting I looked back to the spirit, to see if she was still there and watching. @Rallou

@dragonmancer @jhett314 @Rallou The wooden snake twisted and turned its way through the bushes and sand. Eventually it caught sight of the 3 people - The masked man, Drake and the girl. It took a back route and slithered around the back, where it sat and watched.

@Slendy "Good to meet you Matt, Local pervert you said?" Bartholomew asks as he takes a seat. "I noticed several people going in the direction of the beach earlier, maybe there's some perverted things there?" Bartholomew wasn't really sure how being a local pervert worked, but he wanted to make sure Matt didn't get fired, he seemed nice, and being a homeless person wasn't fun, well okay that one time when he found those cats was pretty fun, but nine times out of ten it was gut punches.

Matt order French toast and gave his menu to the waitress, who he didn't hesitate to hit on. Bart had a great idea and that was his next course of plans. "Great! Then after this I'll head down to the beach! You can come too if you want!" He tapped his table waiting for Bart to order. He'd occasionally get a disgusted look from the waitress but he just replied with a smile.

"Sure," Ayaka hoped that he wouldn't follow them either. She just wasn't in the mood to deal with a crazy person again, though if he threw a toy at her again, it may or may not end up a cat toy this time. Come to think of it, she probably should've just turned into her cat form and started playing with that doll to begin with. Apparently, she was just annoyed at him beating around the bush with his 'hey can you help me' plot.

@Slendy Bartholomew orders blueberry pancakes, and nods to Matt. "Well I've got nothing better to do other than sleep in a pile of bear themed objects, so sure!, the beach would be fun." Bartholomew grins, and stares at the gas station that sells lotto tickets again, while thinking out loud. "Man no gut punches and pancakes, yeah things really are turning around for me." he grins, and plans to blow all the change he's collected, on lotto tickets, after the beach visit.
