Anyway, submissions are now officially CLOSED unless your name is @Wade Wilson. If wade submits that Bomber, then there'll be room for another Razor, but until then we're going with eight on either side, though keep in mind the number might change with betrayals, character deaths, and other hijinks.

EDIT: Also, another thing! Gonna update the OOC in a few to include a few post-related things. Things is the word I'm using because "rules" sounds too much like the covered stuff has to be in every post or something. You'll see.

I think Dead asked us whether we wanted an actual map or just a list of landmarks and so forth.

I voted for a list but I don't know what the final decision was.

I voted for a list but I don't know what the final decision was.


I've been looking around and there are plenty of fantasy map generators that make lands and towns, but even just a simple modern city, like so, is hard to come by in a generator format.

It'll either mean that the designer will have to design from the very beginning, or they can cheat and take a snapshot of an existing city and run it through some filters... Which honestly isn't a bad option.

All we need is a rough guide on where things are like dicks, waterways, etc, and find a city to match. After all, it doesn't have to be perfect.

It's not hard to find dicks in a city though, I can do it without any help.

Quick question that doesn't pertain to anything specific, what is the difference between a Bruiser and a Brawler when it comes to roles? I figured a bruiser is sort of the one that delivers punishment and intimidates witnesses as well as taking out the cannon fodder. Whereas a brawler is more or less...infantry?

Bruiser: a person who is tough and aggressive and enjoys a fight or argument.

Brawler: a person who takes part in brawls; fighter.

So, basically what you said @Sabotage. For the ones that I did, it was really hard to place some of the characters roles, so I kind just gave them a general title. I'm sure Deadbeatwalking would change the assigned roles if somebody felt they were mismatched. For the ones that I did (again) I tried to generalize the skill sets and tidbits of information, as most sheets don't out right mention what their character does, so instead of just assigning their role as Gangster, Brawler seemed more.. appropriate.

I didn't sense much difference in the first place, fair enough, not that there needs to be an exclusive difference anyway. Even generalized titles like Brawler and Scout are better than "Gangster". Gives you a better overall feel of what your character does.

Also, thanks for writing those! I was excited to see what I'd get, and I was not let down.

Edit: Also, my vote is for a list of land marks. Much more flexible that way. (And maybe counties/districts, like the waterfront etc. etc.)

To me, they do seems similar, mostly cause they're fighter classes. (Nothing wrong with that)

It could also be because both start with B. So maybe a different word could be used, like Thug, Scrapper, Slugger, Bouncer(yes I know, B), etc.

So I was playing round with a site that is able to extract maps and colours. Got the details, then threw it into Photoshop and experimented a little bit.

Nothing much, but it sort of has that street map look to it and if you want, we can "scribble" locations on it like someone is marking it out with a red pen or something. I can also make it about double this size if we want so we can mark things a little better. :)

Will do. So far, all I have is that there's a chinatown, a haitian neighborhood, Borouse Street and Aura Park. Also, Aura Borouse. Ouroboros. Your minds should all be blown, god damn it.
