I'm literally almost done. That only thing I have left is the backstory. However, I need to be heading to bed due to the fact I have to get up early tomorrow. So, after my errands tomorrow I will definitely finish it and submit it. But for now, I must retire.

First, an announcement that I'm working on the next post. It's huge, so you may have to wait a bit, but I now have a pretty good idea on how to do it. Also, Surprise surprise, it's voting time. Between Ariin Sorus and Zim Hero, who would be more fitting for a promotion to junior officer? And no, I'm not accepting any other votes.

The new trio will have the codename of Doom Squad Dawn Squad, and will have a separate encounter outside the colonies.

It's not that Zim wouldn't want to, more that as a front lines combatant it makes it hard to see the whole picture and make preemptive commands. But I'm totally down with it.

Also, the reluctant commanders are always the best in anime, movies, and video games, right?

It's a skill I finely tuned as a D&D player. Especially to assume that the entire party is doomed when things start to look bad and handle the ensuing assumed character death casually.

I'm not sure if I should be flattered or feel bad about your lack of belief in my genuineness; glad to see it's appreciated though. I tried to go with a hexagonal grid like I did with the Solaire battle, but it just didn't work out at all. So I went with a shitty square.

@Ariamis Flattered, I'd say. Rarely say I love the fact someone did something. So it's high praise, well form me at least. Then again it all up to you boss, everything is subjective.

Really I'm surprised a hex grid wouldn't work. The again got no idea what delightful clusterfuck you got planned for us.
