Magic is still supposed to be very, very rare. Powerful, but rare. I agree that we should reel it back a bit and remember that. But as long as everyone understands that mages are rare, and that every nation (even the Drathan Union) is made up mostly of regular people, we'll be fine. So yeah, just remember that mages are a very, very small minority of the population, even in places where they are in power, like the Drathan Union.

Anyway, I'll have my own sheet up eventually. I've just been going back and forth with ideas and struggling to put them into words. Suffice to say my nation will not be ruled by mages.

EDIT:

@cider Feel free to move your nation back into the Arm of Azoth if you want. I decided to relocate once again (this time for good). If you want to stay in the new location that's fine too.

I feel as though since I'm one of those nations with a mages in power I should mention that the circle of magi though entirely made up of mages consists of only three individuals currently and have dwindled in size greatly over the years and to not worry about me going full on "secret order of several different mages".

Added my sheet to the char tab; the last few sections will be filled as needed when they arise in the IC narrative. I included a little image gallery at the bottom I used for inspiration.

Hey all,

I'm back. If your NS is in the Character tab, please get working on those IC posts- no need to wait till you've finished your NS, which you can keep working on at your leisure. We want to get the IC up and running ASAP, so post away!

I'm going to throw up a few posts over the next couple of days, and then once most folks have gotten an IC intro up, I will begin with a series of posts that will affect everyone.

On Friday, there was a weird drop in activity, which is fine - people get busy, no problem. But since it has kind of persisted for a few days now, I thought it was time for a headcount. And by that, I mean we need to know for sure who's still planning to participate in the RP. If you aren't, that's fine. You might be busy, or maybe you're not really feeling it anymore. It's cool. Whatever. No one is going to be upset if you drop out. But we need to know. So if you are still participating, come through and say so. If you're not, also come through and say so. There was a lot of interest and enthusiasm for the RP right up until launch, so it's just weird that activity took a sudden plunge.

Sidenote: If you are planning on participating but have been held back by your sheet, don't worry about it. As long as the basic details of your faction are in the sheet, you're good. Don't let the sheet beat you up.

Certainly here. Likewise, work and real life. Can I post my NS as is to the Character Tab or do I need to fill some things out? I haven't finished describing the leadership of the city so that's a thing. I would also like to clarify relations with the Salished Empire @gorgenmast and the city-state of Lugal if necessary.

You can go ahead and put your sheet in the character tab, as most of it seems to be there. The rest can be ironed out as we go.

And no pressure. If you are busy with real life, that's understandable. We just needed to know who was still on board and who had jumped ship.

I have been here, and I'm still in the planning stages of my first post. I'm having a fair bit of trouble coming up with names though, and today was just one of those days where I simply didn't feel like doing anything. You know what I mean? @Pepperm1nts I'm still here and a decent way into my first IC post. I am going away for a week on Saturday but I should have my post up either today or tomorrow so no worries there. While I'm away my internet access will be limited, so I'll still be about and able to post but not as easily as I would be otherwise.

I'm planning on posting, I have just had a load of urgent stuff for my University suddenly appear so I've had to go away from a computer a few times. I'll post as soon as possible, expect it by the end of tomorrow.
